This is the story of the Malone ladies and how Paula takes care of her mother Margo and daughter Lisa, after her dad and husband both die in a strange event. Now Paula feels she should take up were here lefted off in his career, but knows that doing that could mean the same danger her father and husband faced before their deaths.
Paula knew that over the years of growing up that her dad was able to take care of them all and to also give her all she wanted and then some. Margo said yes he did do just that, but that Paula had to remember she couldn't go out anywhere without a group of guards and also that she grew up without friends and not allowed to get close to anyone outside the family. Margo told Paula that Paula that did she want Lisa to grow up the way she did and not be able to have any friends and be close to anyone other that the family left. Margo knows that all the money and power that came with the career was great but it makes your life off limits to outsiders. Margo decided to make some lunch for everyone and as she did she began to think what Paula was considering to do to make their live return to the way if was before the most important men in their lived were taken from them. Paula finished lunch and all three sat down to have a nice time talking and eating together. Paula spoke up to Margo and said I feel the it would be dangerous for you to do that career, but you are a smart and strong woman and if anyone has the guts to do your fathers career then you could. Just promise me that you will do everything you can to protect Lisa and still provide what is needed for all. Margo left the table to go to the restroom and while she was gone, Paula took a sec to let Lisa know alot about what going on and how it would effect life as they knew it. The first thing that Paula would have to do is get Lisa into a private school, so that the public would not be able to get wind of what her mom would be doing. Paula told Margo I know I will have to get some trusted friends together to help get into the career and also develope a protection group to avoid the same fate as the men in their life did. Margo stated the first and foremost ones to make friends with is a small group of police officers that are not scared to make an evtra buck or two to provide protect and be hush hush about things. Paula told her the best way to get them on your side is to line the officers pockets and that should keep them at a distance for you to work the area without problems. Money, remember we are running low on it because of the fact there were no insurance policy on either her father or husband so money is hard to come by at the moment. I guess we will have to start out small on the fact and then get back to the swing of things. Paula made the comment that she would have to come up with some money very soon so that they would move to a bigger house. But she would have to make some phone calls to some of her dads old clients and see what can be done very soon on the subject of money. Paula got on the phone and make a phone call to a man listed in her dads little black book, but had to be alittle quiet because Lisa was sitting at the table in the kitchen. Paula told the gentleman on the phone that she was going to take over on some of the dealings that her dad was doing before his death.
She need to come up with some money as soon as possible and wanted to inquire about a small loan to cover a move and to help with some protection money. Also wanted to set up a meeting as soon as possible to get the ball rolling.
The man on the phone said that he would be by in a couple days with the loan and to make sure she was ready to agree to the terms of the loan, because the action taken if the loan was not paid back on time would not be pleasant. Paula told him to come over and they would have to talk it over.
Paula sat with Margo and told her that she called one of her dad's old friends and asked for some help. Margo asked who the man was that Paula talked to and Paula replied it was Vic.
Margo almost flipped out on her saying why did you call Vic, did you forget that he is a loan shark from hell. In fact Vic is the one that had the hit put out on your father, since he had fell behind is a past loan with him.
Paula, didn't know what to say after hearing what her mother said. The fact that the man responsible for her father and husband death was coming to meet her at her home. She couldn't come to grips that she had to cancel the loan, but then on the other hand knowing she needed the money force her not to say anything more. As Paula walked Lisa out to the bus the next morning, she noticed that Vic and a couple guys we standing in front of the house. Paula rushed Lisa off and got her on the bus and knew that Vic or one of the other guys would notice that Lisa was her daugther and that might not have been a good idea for them to see her. The fact of them noticing that Lisa was related to her might be a good deal, but then could be negative in turn. Lisa walked in front of them all and the did see as spoke to her as she got on the bus. Vic came over with this associates and stood close to the house, Vic began to speak to Paula. Vic told Paula that they could be good friends as long as she made should to get his money back and on time at that. He told her that the terms of the loan are simple, which is get him his money or he will finish the job he started with her dad and husband. Vic told Margo and Paula that the 500,000 dollars should cover all that they need to get a nice house and a car of two and then get the business back on it's feet. But if they try to fly the coot that he would bring more pain to the family name in a way that would be far worst than just having their men erased off the face of the earth.
Mikey and Ricki would pay then a visit late one nite and have there way with them if the money was not taken care of on time. Paula understood the terms of the loan and was just about ready to agree with him when.... When Margo spoke up and said Vic, I know why you wanted to have my husband and son-in-law killed, and it wasn't for the money that he owed you. You have been wanting his cut of the land for a few years now and you knew the only way to get it was to have him killed. It was a shame that my daughter had to suffer with me with teh fact that her husband was killed with him because he was his bodyguard.
And in final that you have wanted me to be with you every since you first saw me yaers ago with my husband. You knew with him out of the pic that you could get me and also his mob holdings.
I will make a deal with to heal keep some heat off my daughter and i think you will agree to this. I will agree to extra some of my physical time for her safety until the loan is paid back. If I go with you then you are to left your current bodyguards with Paula until the loan is done.
Ok so be it, but if the money is not paid on time and in full then, you might as well say your goodbyes now cause you will never turn alive. Paula sat down with the two men and state that in order for this to not scare Lisa they would have to pretend to be employees of her new business venture to keep her from being afraid to have them there. Also that she would have to look for another house as soon as possible that would be more protective then this one and with more room.
Rick and Mike understood and they were there only to help protect her and Lisa and not to cause other problems and to make sure that she pays the money owed to Vic. They were to move to another play as soon as one was found for all to move soon.
