So far am Impressed

Author: Jron | Posted Jun 22, 2009

So far I am impressed at the effort TSR has put into the Sims 3 side of the site.  I don't dole out compliments very often, but I feel credit should be given where credit is due, and after the frustrations of the change over, and waiting weeks, months, years for approvals, etc, I have to say it is a PLEASANT surprise to find that submitting Sims 3 lots is -for me, and I hope for every one- a much simpler process.  I foresee a sudden influx of very talented builders who would have, heretofore, gone unnoticed in Sims 1 or Sims 2.  I can only hope that choosing Sims 3 SA's and FA's is more fair this time around and not always a seemingly cliquish popularity contest (And of you are one of those that think this isn't true, then you are probably part of the clique  ).

WallPaper!

Author: Jron | Posted Mar 18, 2009 | 0 comments

I am glad to see that so many of you seem to enjoy my wallpaper.  i make them mainly for friends, and myself, and sometimes they convince me to post them.  It's nice to see, when I do, they are appreciated.

I am thinking of making a Tacky Set, because you know Sims, they can have the tackiest of things and love them and we enjoy it because we can be tacky without it being a reflection on our own tastes.

Or is it?  lol

Approved of but disapproving of.... lol

Author: Jron | Posted Mar 7, 2009 | 0 comments

Well, I was happily sad to see I wasn't the only ones with problems. I knew I wasn't, but sometimes you do feel you are.  Either way it's nice when fellow sufferers can join together and comfort each other.

My one set of carpets seems to have been approved and another wall/flor set is pending. I am currently working on some vintage-feel walls and hope to have those up soon.

Thank you for reading!  :D

Submission Problems

Author: Jron | Posted Feb 28, 2009 | 4 comments

I've been trying for a week now to submit some things and between logging in continually, and/or getting

"Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage"

I've just about had it.  I only submit things for my own fun and because I like sharing things I've made for myself and friends.  I am not a FA or even a SA, and I doubt anyone in power even knows my site exists (Certainly none of the BigWigs have ever acknowledged I exist (hmmm.... Is ignoring someone acknowledgement of their existence? ) but for heaven's sake, I can't imagine a FA or SA having these problems.  I know they must, and while I don't know what compensation they get, I know for myself it's just not worth the hassle  I can't imagine what it's doing to subscriptions.

Extreme Withdrawal

Author: Jron | Posted Nov 25, 2008 | 1 comments

Well, my gaming PC (Which only held Sims 2 AND ALL ITS EXPANSIONS AND STUFF PACKS has bit the dust, so until I can have it repaired or buy a new one, I will not be creating anymore clothing or houses.

Do I need to say that going from playing every day -since Sims 2 was released- for eight hours or more, to playing none at all, has been EXTREMELY difficult? (Chews on Leg)

I see no repairs or new PCs in my future due to many personal reasons, but hopefully I will be back in time for Sims 3- if not before!

Well... As expected, more trouble.

Author: Jron | Posted Jul 26, 2008 | 0 comments

Due to two reports of my Privacy Island Modern 01 being suspect and giving an Empty Set error, I unpublished and deleted the offending Lot, and redid it. I KNOW for a FACT that this time (as before) everything is working at the time of submission. I hated to lose all my thanks for the Lot, but I had no option to replace JUST the lot package at all... just the preview images, so I felt it best to just delete the set and resubmit it. To those 10 people that had no trouble with it, thank you! And to the two that did, I'm sorry.
