To the best of my knowledge the items should show up when you install the lot.  It will make downloading any missing content a pain without being a subscriber.   However, the only time I have had missing items from lots I downloaded on the site were if 1) I was missing a Stuff Pack (don't have Fast Lane) 2) It came from another site and was a mod instead of a stuff pack item.  Give it a try, and hopefully you will get to enjoy it, just make sure your game is patched to date, and you have World Adventures.  That lot will absolutely NOT work without World Adventures.  (pretty much everything from the roof down came from that game lol)  Hope this helps!
