Hey, it's me, Deborah Evergreen. You know, I decided to take the opportunity while I could and move out on my own. Terrance is gone, Jerrika is gone, Tiffany is grown, Kelin is grown, and only Kita and Rhianna remain in school, but they are teens and will be off on their own pretty soon too. I knew that I would soon be on my own anyway, but I didn't want to waste half my adult life waiting, waiting, waiting...

Hey, it's me, Deborah Evergreen. You know, I decided to take the opportunity while I could and move out on my own. Terrance is gone, Jerrika is gone, Tiffany is grown, Kelin is grown, and only Kita and Rhianna remain in school, but they are teens and will be off on their own pretty soon too. I knew that I would soon be on my own anyway, but I didn't want to waste half my adult life waiting, waiting, waiting... So, with a grant from the city (since I am technically an orphan) and a loan from SimBank, I built this nice house. Oddly enough, it is bigger than the one the seven of us grew up in and I have it all to myself! It feels really weird. As soon as I got settled, some neighbors came by to welcome me. Terrance and his little girlfriend, Zeenia, got married only a few days before the baby was born. We all turned up for the wedding, met Zeenia's family and saw those two begin their lives together. Zeenia had a pretty dress that did nothing to hide her condition. Terrance had a dose of reality when he realized that even thought he was married, he still had to get his homework done. He was diligently finishing up a research paper when he heard Zeenia cry out. The baby was coming! And, of course, everyone was curious who it was going to look like... But nobody expected this! Sherri Diamond was born and she looked most like her grandfather! With Terrance and Zeenia's coloring, everyone had just assumed that the little one would be red or green. I have to admit, though, that she is a pretty baby (my new niece!) and I bet now those two will have more. I hope, though, that they wait until they finish school. As soon as I got settled in my new place (it didn't take long because I don't have much), Molly called. She wanted to know if I'd meet her downtown, so I told her I would. We have a lot to talk about. I admit I was a little confrontational when I first saw Molly. I asked her why she left us alone. I still don't have a satisfactory answer. She was naturally defensive. In time, though, we calmed down and really talked. I told her about Kelin and Tiffany getting the whole bunch of us into private school and about Jerrika taking off for college. I encouraged her to go by the house and talk with the kids who were still there. I also told her about Terrance. She was really surprised to hear about that! When I'm not working, I love just hanging around my house. I wish I had a piano... My job is going well and my place is really looking nice. I've been able to buy the things I need and do a little decorating as well. Zeenia and I have gotten pretty close. She is really a sweet girl and she calls all the time to share with me about Sherri. Zeenia really is a good little mommy, despite her age. It's too bad her child is ugly. She's a sweet little thing, but Zeenia's alien heritage really shows in her face right now. I hope she'll grow into it. But Zeenia and Terrance love her and I'm very happy for them. I've met three rather nice men lately. They are all handsome and friendly but none of them gives me that certain "spark", if you know what I mean. However, I'm not getting any younger and I really would love to settle down and start a family. I'm just afraid of meeting the right man AFTER I'm made a committment to someone else. This is Tyler. He's pretty hot, I think...One of the tests of "compatibility" for me is a man I can dance with. Tyler really has some nice moves. I'll have to see how the other two fare. Corel's pretty hot on his feet too! And his eyes are just simply to die for. I'd love to see those eyes in a pretty baby girl. And then there's Nathaniel, who is also pretty smooth. He has those delicious pointed ears like Tiffany and Terrance (and Zeenia, for that matter). I always wished I had had those. Maybe my babies will inherit nice ears like that. Well, the dance "test" didn't help me decide. All three men can really "cut a rug". Hmmm...well, my party was successful and all three guys had a good time. The dance "test" didn't really help much so next, I called each man into my bedroom and flirted with him a little to see how that went. Both Corel and Nathanial now have a crush on me. Tyler rebuffed me and he is now officially "out of the running". Too bad. I sort of think he was the cutest. Next, I'll go on a date with each of the other two and see how that goes. Wow. Corel and I had a dream date at Red's Diner. It was wonderful and we fell in love. But I am still missing that spark...I'm going to call Nathaniel tomorrow night and see how it goes with him. Well, Nathaniel and I went out tonight and it was another dream date! However, there was this whacky old biddy who really rode my case hard just because I kissed Nate in the restaurant. What a hardnose! She was a real pain. After that, she followed us all over the place. But it was so fantastic being with him. Even though I had a great date with both guys, I'm leaning toward Nathaniel. However, just when I thought I had things figured out, I met this guy...this is Jeffrey and he can bust a move too. And oh my! His ears are exquisite! I guess you can tell I have a thing for those ears... Oh my goodness...this is the one. We haven't even gone out on a date yet but when he kissed me, the sparks flew! I knew right away that this was the man I wanted. I only hope he wants me too. Jeffrey came over today and brought his little brother, Raven over. I think maybe I'll see what I can arrange to have Raven meet Tiffany...or Kelin, or Kita, or Rhianna...Raven is just too cute to let go to waste! When I told Jerrika about Jeffrey, she came over and helped me with a make over. Jerrika is taking classes in cosmetology in college and I think she did a pretty good job. She brought me some of her clothes as well. Now, I've called and invited Jeff over. I hope he likes the transition. When Jeffrey got here this afternoon, he said we needed to talk. I *hate* it when people say that. It always sounds bad. But when we sat down at the table, he had a twinkle in his eye. And then he surprised me with a wonderful black velvet box from SimStar Jewelers. Inside was a beautiful diamond. He asked me to marry him! I was so surprised, I forgot to say yes!...for a moment, anyway. We had a beautiful ceremony at home in the yard and most of my sisters and some of Jeffrey friends were there. It was a lovely affair and we had a blast. Ladies and Gentleman, may I now present to you Jefffrey and Deborah Quinton. And now, we're going to live happlily ever after...
