Meadow Thayer, teenage heart throb and the fantasy girl of half the high school had a dark secret. Meadow had no home. The Diamond twins, Louie and Leona, and their little brother Rodney transferred to Strompton Academy early in the twins senior year. It was Rodney's junior year and Meadow was a freshman. She often came home with Rodney or Louie but when they tried to follow her home, she always eluded them. So when the kids told their Mom, Darcy, about Meadow's plight, she allowed Meadow to move in and join the family. The kids had two different father's but they'd never had a Daddy since Darcy never married or even acknowledged either of the men who had given her children. So she tended to indulge the children somewhat. Sure enough, in time, Meadow and Rodney fell in love. Rodney was totall smitten by this little beauty and she seemed to care for him too. As a matter of fact, their relationship progressed a little bit further than it should have and after Darcy passed away, the two teens took over her bedroom as their own. Sadly, this caused great grief and consternation in the family since Louie loved her too. Unfortunately, Louie was shy and reserved and failed to make his move. But he wasn't giving up easily. He and Rodney often fought for the right to pursue her. But in the end, it was Rodney who made the deciding move. Meadow was pregnant and Rodney was the cause. Leona and Louie, who had just had their 21st birthday were trying to decide what to do. Louie couldn't stand the situation and left home to find a place of his own. Leona became the legal guardian of both Meadow and Rodney. And she was furious with the two of them. Rodney, though, was thrilled. And Meadow's pregnancy progressed. She took a temporary leave from school but Rodney continued. It was his senior year and he was very near graduation. On Rodney's birthday, he took his little teenage darling and moved out. He took the money he had inherited from his mother and put a down payment on a tiny little house for himself and Meadow. Even though they couldn't legally get married until Meadow reached adulthood, Rodney proposed to her on the doorstep of their new home. He wanted Meadow's baby to carry his name. And then a wonderful thing happened. Leona, Rodney's sister, pulled some strings at the courthouse and signed as Meadow's legal guardian, granting them permission to marry. She felt that life was going to be hard enough for them without Meadow's baby having no legal father. Even Louie and his new wife, Tosha showed up at the wedding. Tosha was quite proud of her own little growing bundle and wanted to show off. Louie remained silent and stand-offish throughout the whole thing. Leona hoped he didn't still harbor feelings for Meadow. It was obvious to everyone that their lives had taken different paths. But Louie appeared genuinely happy with his new wife and coming baby. He told Leona that he really was over Meadow and he wished his brother well with her. He was tickled that the two of them would be Papa's at the same time. Now if only Leona would find a husband. Momma would have been so proud of them. Meadow and her new sister-in-law spent some time getting to know each other. Tosha was aware that Meadow and Louie had once had a budding romance and that Louie and Rodney's fight for all those years had been over Meadow. It made the relationship a little strained. On the other hand, Leona was having good luck with a relationship of her own. She sold her mother's house and moved into another one next door to Meadow and Rodney. It wasn't long before she announced that she was getting married. Meadow and Rodney didn't even meet the guy until the day of the wedding! Wow, Leona got married in a hurry.... Tosha and Louie called a few days later to say that Tosha had the baby. They had a pretty little girl that they named Netanya. Meadow was a little jealous. She really had hoped to have her baby first. But it wasn't long before the big day came for Meadow and Daisy Diamond was born. Daisy had her Mom's blue eyes. Meadow told Rodney she was going to go back to school. Rodney's job was going well and hopefully he would make enough to support them. He was proud of her. Much to Rodney's dismay, having a baby didn't mature Meadow any. He was having a little fun having a teenage wife, but sometimes her antics bugged him. She wasn't taking very good care of Daisy and, even though she said she was going to finish school, the first day he had off from work, she took right off to be with her friends. Shortly after Daisy was born, Rodney was surprised to see Louie come by. He congratulated his little brother and all the former animosity over Meadow seemed gone for good. Rodney still felt a little ashamed of winning her away from his brother, but he assuaged his feelings by telling himself that Tosha was a good wife. She would have been Rodney's second choice too. After Louie left, Rodney found a small bottle sitting on the kitchen counter. He remembered seeing a very similar one when he was a teen. Louie had one just like it at home. It always sat on his night stand. He picked up the bottle and saw a small note attached. It read, "Little Brother, thanks for everything. I owe this to you." Poor Meadow got off the bus and came into the house only to find a horrendous scene awaiting her. There in the kitchen was the limp body of her husband! There was a bottle laying beside him. She picked it up. Meadow's heart broke. She knew it was her fault. On the anniversary of Rodney's death, Meadow finally reached her 21st birthday. She was just now an adult and she had already had a full life. She'd been married, pregnant, gave birth, and widowed all before her 21st birthday. She had taken a correspondence course on the internet and earned a college degree all on her own. She couldn't help but wonder what other curve balls life could throw at her. Just a few days after Meadow's birthday, little Daisy reached toddlerhood. Daisy was through with school for now and had a little savings. She decided to stay home and teach Daisy how to walk, talk, and help her learn all her life skills. Meadow just really hoped there would be another man in her life one day. And, in time, there was. Jon Zelandonii moved into the neighborhood and into Meadow's heart. He was kind to her, and sweet to her daughter. Daisy loved him and thought of him as the Daddy she didn't have. Jon took Meadow out to eat one evening and there, he proposed to her. She was shocked. She was so young and here she was getting engaged for the second time. But there was no resisting Jon. She said "Yes" and they planned their big day. Meadow and Jon moved into a new house and to celebrate, they held their wedding ceremony on the back patio. Daisy was starting school now and Meadow was planning a new addition to the family. One very happy day came and Daisy was accepted into the local private school on the same evening that Ayla Zelandonii was born. Ayla had blonde hair like both her parents, and she had her father's lovely lavender eyes. It wasn't long before Daisy developed into the typical teen. She had nothing more on her mind than dating, boys, and ...well, okay that was it, just dating, boys, and dating boys. Shortly after Daisy's birthday, Ayla grew into a sweet little toddler. During her birthday, however, Meadow's ex-husband Rodney dropped by to say hello. Daisy found Ayla to a real joy and pleasure. She knew that her Mom had started having babies pretty young, and that she and Jon both loved kids alot. She wondered if they would have any more. She tried to be helpful around the house, especially where Ayla was concerned. LIttle did she know then, but Meadow was already expecting another. Joplya was Jon and Meadow's second baby. She was going to be another blonde like her parents and she had her father's lavender eyes. Daisy was beginning to feel a little left out. Meadow, Jon, Ayla and Joplya were a happy family of blonde haired, fair eyed people. She had a plain name and plain features. She had no idea how pretty she really was. She longed for the blonde hair and lavender eyes of her little sisters. Daisy tried to talk to her mother about college, but Meadow told her it was a silly idea. She encouraged Daisy to take a correspondence course like she did. Frustrated, Daisy went to Jon but he was no more supportive than her mother had been. He told her it was stupid for girls to go to college. That was when Daisy lost it. She told him that not only was she going, but she was going right now! And leave she did. Her cousin, Abigail was already at college, and she had heard from Ayla that Fawna said Netanya was headed off too. Daisy was excited about joining her cousins at college and frankly, relieved to be leaving this house. Jon was good to his girls, but Daisy wasn't his...

Daisy left and never even wrote home for four whole years. Meanwhile, Ayla grew into a lovely young lady with dreams of her own. Jon grew to be a bitter old man and Meadow is just days away from being old herself. Preparing herself for a life of ease, Ayla is already planning how she can become a rich Sim (or marry one). She scouted out some potential businesses on the internet and has begun investing her allowance in the stock market. Joplya was the last of Meadow's children. She is playful, outgoing, and neat and loves her big sister, Ayla, as much as Ayla loved Daisy. Joplya may not make it to teen before her parents are gone and she is bright enough to know that. Ayla is torn between going to college and staying home for Joplya's sake. Both of the girls were able to take advantage of the benefits of private school. Ayla has also discovered a knack for painting and makes money on the side by painting and selling beautiful works of art. She plans to make over §100k in her lifetime. And then one day, the inevitable happened. While the girls were at school and Jon was at work, Meadow departed this life. She went out peacefully having lived, loved, and shared her life. She had two husbands, was widowed, had three lovely daughters. Alas, the one thing she missed was having grandchildren.

And that's the story of Meadow Thayer Diamond Zelandonii.
