A tragedy has befallen this family. Is this the end of life as they know it or the gateway to their future?

A tragedy has befallen this family. Is this the end of life as they know it or the gateway to their future? This is the story of my little family. We had to begin anew. When Wilbur passed away, I had to take my children away from all they had known and move. Wilbur loved playing with William and dancing around. Now, that will never occur again. William will never know the joy of playing with Daddy again. I will never hear the sound of their laughter. Will I ever hear William laugh again? Has the light of his life been snuffed out forever? How will I help him? How can I put his life back together when my own has shattered into a million pieces? Little Winnie won't even remember him. She will never know the warmth of her Father's embrace. The comfort and pleasure of being snuggled close and surrounded by a love only a Father can give. Daddy's little girl. His princess. He was so happy when she was born. He had a son and then a beautiful daughter. What man could ask for more? That's what he always said. He had a wonderful family and he could ask for nothing more. I can think of something he could ask. One day he returned from work gasping for air. I couldn't think. An overwhelming panic overtook my body. I just stood there, uselessly. That is my crime. My guilt I will have to live with. Perhaps if I had called for help...... Wilbur didn't last long. It was quick. Too quick. I didn't even think to say I love you. The most important words for anyone, and I didn't say them. The man of my dreams, my heart, my life, left this world without even hearing those words leave my lips. What kind of wife am I?

Hope: New Beginnings
