Hi again! It's me, Posie Flower. I found this quaint little house empty and decided to buy it. After all, it is a girl's house. Look at all that pink! I need to call Mark and see how he's doing. He's about to graduate. I wonder if he would like to move in here with me.... I really miss you! Can you tell? Men think better with full bellies. While we eat, we can discuss future living arrangements. I really feel it would make more sense financially if we lived together. What do you think Mark? I think it sounds like a great idea! It never hurts to share expenses. Well, things progressed quite naturally and Mark proposed! To ME! I am so excited! Would you look at that ring?! Sharing expenses must have helped more than I thought. Hesitantly, I took it. It was so shiny and sparkling like the sun on a clear day. It took my breath away. Of course I accepted the proposal. Do you think I'm stupid? Thank you so much Mark!
No problem Posie. Do you know how much I love you? I worship the very ground you walk upon. We decided to tie the knot in a simple ceremony. An exchange of rings and some lovely vows. I am happier than ever! I didn't need a big ceremony to make me happy. Mark was enough for me. Well, I am on my way to becoming captain hero! I know if I work hard and concentrate on the appropriate areas of study, I will be there in no time! I found a place to practice medicine with decent pay. With any luck, I will work my way to becoming chief of staff. I want that more than anything out of life. My own legacy. Posie and I decided to discuss another kind of legacy. Children.
I don't know Mark. Sometimes it seems that the world is falling apart. Posie... if we have no children what is the point of living? We are here to continue life. Think of the beautiful things we could share with our kids. Well...... I think you can see I was convinced. I had a great day today! I made it to captain hero!!! I really wanted to achieve this in my lifetime... and I did! Woo Hoo! Ooops, we did that already! I have decided to purchase new clothing. Mark felt a new wardrobe would be a good idea. Maybe I will buy some baby clothes. Just in case! Hmmm..... How much did you say? I hope I didn't overspend! Well, I guess that will be alright. I think I went a little overboard, but surely Mark will understand. I just feel this need to buy baby clothes. Well, I guess I was right! I was studying hard and all of a sudden my stomach popped! I knew it! Our first baby! Oh my gosh! How much bigger will I get? Pretty soon I won't be able to drag my big butt out of bed! This is slightly disturbing. How big is this baby? Mark wanted to paint a portrait of me in my pregnant state. He calls it the first baby picture! Isn't that sweet? This is a really rude awakening! Can I go back to bed? I think something is ripping it's way out! Oh my goodness, someone save me! Where's the epidural? I changed my mind! Natural childbirth is horrible! Say hello to Rosie Wilson. She is worth every bit of pain. My heart is swelling with love. Now I understand why women indure that kind of suffering. What kind of life is in store for Rosie?
