Hallo Simon \:\)  I don't live anywhere near Canterbury I'm afraid, but I hear that it's nice and I hope your trip there is wonderful.  UV-mapping is a HUGE subject and not something that can be taught via PM, so it might be best if you found a simple tutorial which will explain the concepts using the 3D program you use.  We will have a tutorial being launched at TSR soon that will also explain UV mapping step by step in UV Mapper and Milkshape.  It's still being developed at the moment but will hopefully be launched soon.  Sue

Simon, It's the hanging plant blue hosta. It does not really matter which one (hanging) you would pick. You still need to make a rugmesh to put on the floor. I did the alpha cut on my rug mesh. not on the actual plant. I just picked the hanging plant so that it A) Can be thicker than an EA rug and B) can be walked over by a Sim.

I cloned that rug from a hanging plant and have "cutoff" the edges to make it more fur like. What is that called? Alpha blending?

Hello!  A big thank you for stopping by at my guestbook today!   I'm enjoying creating for Sims 3 and have quite a few new sets planned.  The next set will be some not-so-nice lights (the in-game lights are just far too pretty for my liking). \:D Sue
