I managed to get enough kudos points for the free subscription day and went download mad. :D I now have loads of new stuff, hairstyles, clothes, lots and more. The next thing I'm going to save up for is a poll on my profile page.
The four part story isn't really moving at the moment but I may well come back to it. What is moving however is my new legacy family - The Cullinans. I've uploaded the introduction to the stories section and I hope anyone reading this will read that too. It's still just the founder, James Cullinan, at the moment. I think I have enough story for the next part now, I just have to write the words. So it shouldn't be too long before it's online. I don't want to play too far ahead of myself.
I'm playing the legacy according to the rules at www.legacychallenge.com, and so far I have just 2.25 points. I've chosen the Patriarchy/Matriarchy, eXtreme, Presidential Physical Fitness, Free Roaming Ghosts, Storyteller, Gas Line, Noble Composure and True Love handicaps.

I am currently in the early stages of a three or four part story for The Sims Resource. This is only my second story and the first one that wasn't documenting an actual part of my game. I haven't fully worked out the plot yet but I've created some of the main Sims and I have a rough idea of what it's going to be about. I'll try to get it up as soon as possible.

I may as well - it's extra kudos points! Lol. I'm saving up for a free subscription day and then I'm going to go download crazy! :D
So a little about me - I've been playing Sims 2 since it came out and I played Sims 1 before that. Not sure yet whether I'm going to get Sims 3. I'm certainly not done with Sims 2 yet so if I do I'll probably keep Sims 2 as well. In the meantime I'm reading reviews to try and decide whether I want it or not. We should have an official TSR poll on whether people like the game.
Though I've been playing for so long I still haven't completed a legacy. I've started two in the past, both a long time ago, but didn't get past generation three. I have however completed a challenge I set myself to try and get my Sim Rose Stevens (see my stories page) as many of the memories as possible. This was when I still only had the first three expansion packs. Now I'm doing the same challenge again with a different Sim, Kimberly-Jane Whitley, but this is on hold at the moment because I am way behind with the storytelling part of it (you can read it in the TSR forums, in the stories section - it's called You Only Live Once Without A Ressurect O'Nomitron - and on my own website). In the meantime I am playing Rose's family (now up to generation four) and I am building a clean neighbourhood, which is where there are no automatic townies, NPCs or families in the families bin (see MTS2 for a tutorial on how to do this). That is paused too at the moment though because I'm waiting for the free subscription day.
My contributions to TSR are mostly screenshots. I have some posed shots on the way. And I am playing challenges for points.
