Hey, thank you for choosing to read the first part of my story, "Tears, fears and love, the Cann way, Part 1". This story follows the life of Jack and Toni Cann, starting on their wedding day!

Hey, thank you for choosing to read the first part of my story, "Tears, fears and love, the Cann way, Part 1". This story follows the life of Jack and Toni Cann, starting on their wedding day! As Jack gently slid on Toni's ring, there wasn't a watcher who didn't shed a tear. Toni looked beautiful in her dress, her 8 month bump prodtruding proudly from her dress. It was the happiest moment of their lives, and after all their hardship and worry, they were finally here. The party stood up and cheered for the happy couple, and hoped that they would spend the rest of their lives together. Among them, Jaime and Ollie Cann, Jack's parents, smiled happily, this is what they had always wanted for their oldest child, to be married to the girl of his dreams, and a baby on the way. Toni's dad Dermot couldn't have been happier either, his daughter was safe, for now at least, as she had a man whom Dermot knew adored her. Seated behind Dermot was Ciara, Toni's stepmother. Ciara hoped that her little girl, Amelia, would grow up to be just like Toni, gentle kind and caring. Jack turned to his bride and began to whisper sweet nothings to her. Toni was Jack's every desire, Jack had wanted to marry the stubborn, smart and beautiful girl the moment he laid eyes on her for the first time when they were both 16. Now 22, with a house and baby on the way, they both felt contented and as if nothing could go wrong. As the couple cut their cake, Toni felt a sharp pain in her stomach, and hoped that the baby didn't decide to make it's entrance just yet! The feeling subsided, and she began to eat her cake, "Here, honey, try a bit, it's lovely," giggled Toni as she shoved a massive bit of cake into Jack's mouth.
"MMM..." Jack laughed, choking a little. Ollie watched as his new daughter-in-law crossed the room. He wanted to make sure she was always safe, after all, she looked so like her mother, Julia, and so Ollie felt a pang every time her looked at her. Ollie shook his head and pushed his thoughts of Julia aside. As he looked at his wife he thought about how Jaime was the best thing that ever happened to him. After Julia had married Dermot, Ollie thought his world was ending, so he turned to his best friend Jaime. It was then she admitted that she had always loved him, and Ollie had finally noticed what was right in front of him, his soulmate. Jack's youngest sister, Rebekah, chatted away to Toni,
"She was like "No way!" and I was all like, "Yea way" and he was like "Totally!""
Toni laughed, Rebekah reminded her of herself hen she was little. Rebekah was only 9, but she acted like a teenager, and Jack hoped that she wouldn't end up like her older sister, Amerie. At last it was time for the guests to leave the newlyweds to be alone.
Jack hugged his mother tightly, "Thanks for coming mum, it meant a lot to us!"
"Like I would miss my Baby boy's wedding! I'm sorry Amerie wouldn't come, she's in big trouble when I get back. At least she could look after Stevie for me and I didn't have to leave him with one of those nannies!" she replied.
"Don't worry mum, it's fine. I wish she would tell me why she doesn't like Toni, though."
"Honey, she's just a grumpy teenager. Don't worry about her."
"Give my love to them both, and you should bring little Stevie around to play someday, I miss the little tyke!" Jack smiled, thinking of his baby brother. As soon as everyone had left, the couple went up to the nursery.
"Just think honey, soon we will have our baby and our little family will be complete" Toni whispered.
"Come on Toni, lets go to bed, you look shattered..." Jack replied. He couldn't wait for the baby to come either, but he had a bad feelig about the little one, and the pregnancy had begun to take it's toll on Toni. Jack had wanted to wait until she had givin birth, but Toni had insisted on being married before the baby came. Toni bolted upright from her bed. She had that dream again, it started with her mother and a man in a suit, then a thud and a piercing scream, and everything went black, that's went she woke up in a cold sweat. Jack slept peacefully beside her, as as Toni looked at him, she hoped, for both their sakes, that the man in the suit would never return, like he had said he would. Suddenly she stood up and doubled over. Toni screamed as wave after wave of pain hit her. The baby was on it's way a little early, and there wasn't enough time to make it to the hospital...
Jack jumped out of bed and ran over to his wife, as she blacked out and slumped to the floor...
