This is so much fun...! I gather my thoughts just like Leknat's been teaching me too, that's the hardest part.... and I reach out to my siblings.... I don't know what will happen to them, but I know Leknat will be pleased with me....

This is so much fun...! I gather my thoughts just like Leknat's been teaching me too, that's the hardest part.... and I reach out to my siblings.... I don't know what will happen to them, but I know Leknat will be pleased with me....
The Others will be surprised! Alan Curious was the first to feel it.Recently grown to teen, he'd returned from school and was collecting the mail as normal, when a terrible pain arched through his brain.
"Argh!"
Clutching his head, he thought it was going to burst, never had he felt anything like this before. No one was around to help him, his mother and Uncle Lazlo were both at work. Across the road, Astra Curious staggered under the sharp pain which throbbed in her head like fingers grabbing at her flesh. Unlike her half-brother Alan, it wasn't as stronge, nor was she alone. Fermat had arrived home at the same time and rushed to his sisters side, he helped her into the bedroom before she collasped. As suddenly as it had begun, it stopped. Alan almost fell over from the shock, his face wet with tears of pain. It wasn't an illness, his race rarely fell ill, even the hybrid's. No something had tried to attack him through his mental link... But the question was.... What? After resting, Astra called Alan that night.
" Alan, did you feel anything today after school?"
" If you mean, someone trying to rip my head off from the inside? Yes, you could say that. You?"
She nodded, even if he couldn't see her, due to the link he could feel the motion.
" More like a bad headache for me... What happened?"
" Can't you guess?"
" No....."
 " It was Vid"
" WHAT! He's a child! Don't be so stupid!"
" Astra, just listen will you..... Your the one he contacted, not me. You asked your mom to help, whatevers going on in that house has reached a new level... Somehow he's learnt to attack through the link.... What's the next step? Force us to start doing things or just drag us into whatever cess-pit things got hold of him?"
She couldn't answer that one, it didn't bear thinking about.
 Vidcund had just returned from visiting his brothers when he saw who was waiting for him.
" Bertrum? Does your father know your here?"
The young teen shook his head, he didn't look at all happy.
" No, he doesn't granddad, and I doubt he'd care either"
" Call me Vidcund. Granddad makes me feel like I should be drawing a pension" Bertrum laughted.
" Sure thing, Gran....er..Vidcund"
" Come inside and tell me what's on your mind"
" Here's fine, I can't stop long" " I don't know what happened last night between you and Dad, but he went really strange later on... Talking to little Vid in his room for ages, and there were these weird noises, like something laughing or breathing...."
Alan had been telling his uncle about the pain he'd felt and his fears for the small one. This was only confirming something had to be done.
" I got woke up by Vid... He was just sitting on the floor staring at me. There was this glow about him, seemed to pulsate, and he loved it. Giggling away like anything! Freaked me out!" "And Dad's gone all Man-in-Black now, makes him look cool, but it's not him. Talks for hours on the phone to someone... no idea who.... A woman I think, and keeps muttering about getting Aunt Morgan to come back home"
" Why?" Bertrum shrugged his shoulders.
" Something about her Destiny" " He invites her round all the time, gives her all this attension, which she loves. She told dad her boyfriend was seeing someone else, so she's called the wedding off. Dad tried to be nice, but you could see he was glad"
" I gather they were always close as children"
" There's close and ...close... If you get my meaning. Dad's waiting for something, I don't know what, but I'm not hanging about to find out!" " So what are you going to do?"
" I'm leaving for Collage, tonight. But I'm taking little Vid out of that house first. It's not right what's going on, and I don't want the little guy to come to any harm"
" You could bring him here, I'm sure Mel won't mind, she loves children" Bertrum shook his head.
" It's the first place dad would look.... Aunt Morgan will look after him, I know she will"
He held out his hand and Vidcund shook it.
" Thanks for listening to me Gr.... Vidcund. I'll try and keep in touch, but I don't know if I'll ever come back here, it's too plain weird"
" Good luck Bertrum. If you need anything, you know who to call. We'll keep a watch on your brother for you" Issac was sleeping when Bertrum, having packed his bags, woke his half-brother up and dressed him.
" We're going on a little trip Vid. Won't that be nice?"
" Da-da come too?"
" Maybe later... It's just us two for now"
" Yeah!"
Quickly Bertrum left the room and headed for the door. It felt like he was escaping from prison and at any second he expected someone or thing to try and stop him. The taxi had already started to pull up to the house as he got down the steps. Stopping for one last look at the home he'd grown up in, he couldn't help but wonder when it had all started going wrong?
" So long Dad, it was great knowing you.... when you were you that is"
He bit his lip to stop himself crying, that was the past, he had to go forward! " Okay... You ready?"
Vid snuggled into his brothers shoulder, he was starting to feel very sleepy.
" Yes...Bertum"
" Where too kid?" The driver asked after he'd closed the door.
" First, 92 Cover Up Road, Please" Morgan was waiting at the kerbside when the taxi pulled up. She took the child in her arms and smiled.
" Hi little man... You coming to stay with me?"
" Yep..." Bertrum leaned out of the taxi window.
" Thanks Aunt Morgan.... For doing this, look after him will you?"
" No worries, I love kids. You go and have fun in Collage. You'll enjoy it, it's a blast!"
She watched the taxi pull away, and turned back to her home. " Come on. Lets show you to the others"
Zack and herself might not have been on the best of terms, would he would still adore her nephew. Days passed and Vid started to relax and act once more like the small child he was. The bond that Leknat had tried to form slowly disolved with distance and love.
" La...la....laaaa!"
This is fun! Zack is great to play with, he stays home all day and plays with the cat-lady. I think they like each other. She's getting fat, but I don't mind. For Morgan things weren't going at all well.
One day, she blinked and she was at the computer screen, her clothes felt wrong and looking down, she saw she was with child!
That was a shock, as she had no memory of woowhoing anyone at all! Was it Zacks? It must be, they had been engaged for a time after all. Had he gotten her drunk one night?
What was she to do? Without even thinking about it , she got up and left the house. Anyone looking at her would have thought her sleep walking.
A taxi was waiting outside, though she couldn't recall phoning for it . Without looking back or having packed any clothes or possessions, she climbed in.
The driver never asked where to take her, it was as if he already knew. Her brothers house......... Where they were waiting....
