#2 - Let the past behind

#2 - Let the past behind The day starts with Sharon being busy for her job. She needs to do a research for writing an article. "Oh my, this is the fifth book I am flying over and I just can not find the right information to write the article." thinks Sharon while skimming the book. "Caroline is using the computer all day.. maybe I should try the local library." "This is my first time ever seeing a library from inside. Oh yeah, Now I know why I prefer bars to spend my free-time. Anyway I should focus on my research." Sharon walks through the library until she reachs a bunch of bookshelves. "Okay here we go. Let's try this, maybe it could help me to find out more about this topic." Sharon takes the book with her and goes to a silent place. "Ah this is what I need!" she says in a relieved way. "Internet is not everything I think. I think I could get over here more often to find out some information. Now I can start with the article." Sharon goes back home. Back at home Sharon goes to Caroline who is working hard at her first book. "Hey Caroline how are you? Got some ideas to write a good book? And would you like to go with me and Rachel to the local bar? Maybe we could meet some new friends!"
Caroline is absent and totally focused on writing but says "I'm fine and got lots of ideas and No I dont want to go in the bar." Right after the short conversation Rachel arrives from work. Sharon immidately goes to her and asks her very hopeful: "Hey Rachel want to go to the local bar with me now? I dont want to be alone there and we both could enjoy some relaxation." "Good idea girl. Let's just dress up perfectly. Maybe we could even meet some hot boys there!" Full of excitement for the local bar both put on some nice clothes and leave the house. "Okay, lets rock this bar Rachel like we did in Bridgeport." shouts Sharon. "Yeah lets do it Sharon" says Rachel and goes inside the bar with Sharon. Both seem surprised because nobody is here except the barkeeper. They never saw a empty bar and are quite shocked. "This is a joke right? I mean come on where are we? Here is NOBODY? Lets drink something and hope that some people come around." says Rachel and orders two drinks. They both stand in the bar and wait for boys. They drink and wait. And wait. But nobody comes in. "Oh Rachel I dont want to stand alone in a bar anymore. I am so bored right now. It is so annoying. We need to work for our money hard and then we can not even have a party because nobody is in this town. I mean how many people live here? 50? I just want our old life back.." says Sharon desperately. "Nah, come down Sharon. We are here just for some days and can not change our situation. We should move on and try to let the past behind. Caroline already did it and we should do the same. Lets go home and watch a good movie together!" says Rachel and tries to cheer her up. Sharon agrees and they both leave the bar though Sharon is very disappointed about this night. "Oh Rachel come on. You said we will watch a good movie. We saw this one already five times and I know every scene." says Sharon in a quite annoyed way. "Now she talks to him and after that she runs away and gets killed like every time we watch this film. I can not understand why you are still frightened at some parts of this movie." continues Sharon. "Shh Sharon this is the only movie I got so fast. Look she needs to escape before he gets her. This is so exciting Sharon!!" says Rachel and tries to amuse Sharon. "Oh Rachel you are unbelievable. You already know every second of the film. Lets just stop watching and go to bed." says Sharon and is really bored. "No Sharon just let me watch the movie okay?" says Rachel. Sharon stands up and switches off the TV which made Rachel a bit angry but she agrees with going to bed. "It is getting worse every day here in this town" thinks Sharon. "I just can not let my past behind. This world where I have been can not be replaced by this. We have so many worries and no friends here. Well.. maybe I should go around the town tomorrow and meet some people." Sharon just realised that she thinks more often as before about her situation and herself. But she do not know if this is good or bad now. She goes to bed with a queasy feeling. Very early at the morning Caroline goes out to the postbox and checks if she got a Letter. The other girls do not know yet that she already has finished her first book and sent it to publishing company. Caroline opens the mail and reads the letter. She was shocked as she read what the company answered to her. She just can not believe it.

Were they schooled at home?). . .but it is very nice she survived her first days at work. . .I do wonder what her atricle is going to be about. . .Oh,. . .what does Rachel do. . .I forget. . .\:D
