Hey you!
This is my first story in here, and hopefully you will enjoy it. You should pay most attention to the story and not the pictures, because the pictures really aren't the best quality, but I did try to make them look good.
Extra "I just fell like telling you"-stuff:
I thank all designers for make up, hair, walls, floors and furnitures. It wouldn't have looked half as good without your CC.
English is not my mane language so please bear that in mind, though I hope I haven't made any big mistakes.
And yes, I know "Shunn" is a surname, but I figured that out after I wrote the story, and it sounds good as a front name anyway ^^

Thanks!

Shunn sighed.
>Well, this is where I'm going to live from now on< she thought. >Looks really promising..<
She sighed. She couldn't really allow herself to think that way. She WAS thankful and all, but it was just so...
Boring..

Well, really it wasn't, but it just looked old and "falling apart" in some sort of way. The outside walls looked like they were crumbling..
... Crumbling...

She sighed again.
Just like she felt like she was right now, which was indeed not pleasant. It wasn't as though she was glad that the outside part of her new house looked like her own miserable life.
She walked through the front door and entered the biggest room in the small house. 5) She couldn't help but smile. It was a small one, but yet a smile it was. The design of the biggest room was almost even worse than the outside wall, which, for Shunn, said a lot. 6) The "living room" part of the room had only one chair in it, a dark green camping chair which Shunn had gotten from her father.
Behind the "living room" part there was a small kitchen.
A television was the only other thing in the big part of the room -
if, of course the ugly, ugly lamp didn't count. Shunn looked up at it.
It was so ugly and small and not her style.
>I'll rip it down really soon< she promised herself.
>When I get more money<.....
She sighed and took a trip to the bathroom where she frowned at the orange colour on everything out there.
Then she made herself a sanwich and preparede herself for the "hello"s she knew she would probably get in some hours.
She just knew it. This neighbourhood was known by it's friendly citizens.
She shaked her head while she ate. She was quite shy and wasn't sure she would make it alive.
>Oh well< she thought, >at least I'll know they will all be there at the funeral, showing how nice they are<
She laughed at herself and felt a little bit guilty. She should absolutely not be starting her own private rumours about people she didn't know!

In reality she was scared. She was scared not to make friends. She was afraid that people would think she was odd.
She was absolutely terrified of being looked down at, and she knew she couldn't deny it.
She had just finished eating when someone knocked on the door. She sighed and got up from the chair to welcome whoever was outside her house. Just as she had expected, people from the neighbourhood were there to welcome her to her new home. She first welcomed Ayla Kiwii, who presented herself as mother and housewife. Shunn was suprised to find out that she lived just across the street. She hadn't realized that when she moved in, but the woman seemed nice. Next in the bunch was Isak Brage.
Shunn couldn't help but smile widely when he shook her hand. He had a very funny accent.
"Well 'ello madam. Goo' to shake you hand me'self, 'cause I wa' told ye were bit of a vampire". He laughed. "You certainly seem better looking than a vampire".
Shunn laughed a bit, afraid that it seemed fake.
"Well I certainly hope so," she said and smiled.
Last was Mads Johansen. He smiled and shook hands with Shunn, but she didn't like him. She was unable to put a finger on the problem, but he just seemed like a bad person, even as he was very friendly and polite.
She invited them all inside her house and talked with them.
Ayla smiled at the living room design, and told that her house had looked just alike when she had moved in the first day.
Shunn was pretty glad to hear that it wasn't unnatural to have an almost emty living room.
The two men left fairly quick, but Ayla stayed most of the day, chatting and having fun with Shunn. Somehow Ayla obviously knew that Shunn had a hard time settle in the first day, and they talked until Ayla needed to go home and prepare dinner. Even though they were relatively different from each other they had a great time.
Ayla was older than Shunn, 35 years old while Shunn was only 22.
Ayla had a husband and a little daughter, who she enjoyed raising and watch grow.
Shunn had nobody.
But when Shunn watched Ayla walk over the street it hit her that she might get friends here. People were so friendly.
Maybe she wouldn't need to wait too long to have somebody too.
Shunn walked inside the house again and sighed for what seemed like the thousand time that day. It was beginning to get dark outside and she was suprisingly tired even though it was only 8 o' clock. She made a fast dinner which she didn't really wanted.
Then she shifted to pyjamas and went to bed.
She was tired. So much needed to be done before she could really relax.
What was the most important think of all, was for her to get a job. Without a job, no money, without money she wouldn't be able to afford a prettier lamp for the living room.
And oh well, she wouldn't be able to afford anything else for that sake, so what she really had to deal with first was the newspaper. Maybe there would be something next morning?
She sighed one last time and closed her eyes.
Sleeping is always a good thing to do when not able to deal with everything at one time...
To be continued...

Well, I hope you did enjoy the first Chapter! I might not update regularly, 'cause sometimes I just hit a wall and need to step back a bit before being able to walk further again.
And you can write in a comment if you want me to tell you when I update :)
Thanks!

I think it was a solid story for your first one. Keep building on it and let me know when you update again. some thing I liked about it were the camera shots. Many people forget to keep the camera indoors and when they take pictures you can see where the wall ends. I've done that a couple times and it annoys me every time I see it. I think it was a good introduction to the story and I expect the story to speed up a bit in the next update. Tell me when you update the story next.
