Welcome to the last Part of this story. After this there won't be any stories for a while because I have my exams coming up in a week. So Enjoy the last part of this story and look out for other stories from me in the future... Oh you might want to read "History..." "Is Destined To Repeat Itself..." "Until Destiny Changes..." first otherwise you will get more confused than people already are :)
Lilly: "Jennifer please, your father is here now, you have no reason to leave... Paul isn't coming back, just don't leave me..."
Jennifer: "Mum I have to do this! I can't live with you all my life and the longer I stay here the harder it's going to be when I actually leave."
Lilly: "But where will you go?"
Jennifer: "I am going to college, and then I'll make my way from there."
Lilly: "Ok Jennifer, I will let you do this..." Lilly: "Goodbye Jennifer, I hope you will come and see me once in a while..."
Jennifer: "Of course I will mum! I love you, I'm sorry"
Lilly: "For what?"
Jennifer: "You'll find out later, mum I have to go Bye!"
Lilly: "Jennifer! What have you done?" Lilly: "Jennifer... I will miss you... But what did you do?" Jennifer: "Bye mum, I'm so sorry... but I had to" All while she was doing the housework Lilly wondered what Jennifer had done, was it Marcus, or Paul? No it can't have been anything to do with them... what was it... Never mind Trisha's feeding time soon, she had to heat the bottle. Lilly: "Jennifer! No... how could you? Trisha? Where are you? Cry for mummy? No... no..." Trisha was gone! Lilly hit the drink immediately... she had to call her mother! Lilly: "Mum... Ha...have you seen Jennifer?"
Angelique: "Yes, Lilly she's here, with a baby"
Lilly: "Mum, tell her to come home immediately and tell her to bring Trisha with her!"
Angelique: "Lilly, have you been drinking?"
Lilly: "Of course I have Mum, she took my baby when she left!"
Angelique: "Trisha's yours?"
Lilly: "Yes, mum mine and Paul's"
Angelique: "Who's Paul, what about Marcus?"
Lilly: "It's a long story mum, I'll tell you it later."
Angelique: "Well I am not letting her go home, she wants to stay here and besides she told me that Paul beat her."
Lilly: "She's lying we went through this about 5 times, he did nothing to her mum."
Angelique: "I'm not letting her go home to you she doesn't want to, come here if you need to talk. Goodbye Lilly!" Lilly: "Mum, why did you do this to me? Jennifer, why did you do this to me?" Marcus: "What happened Lilly?"
Lilly: "Jennifer left and she took Trisha with her."
Marcus: "She left? Where?"
Lilly: "My mothers"
Marcus: "It's Ok I'll go and bring them back..."
Lilly: "Marcus, she won't let you bring them back."
Marcus: "Why?"
Lilly: "Because of what Paul did to Jennifer."
Marcus: "I'll just pretend that I am taking them away from you."
Lilly: "Marcus... don't. Jennifer will come home when she is ready."
Marcus: "Ok we'll just wait."
Lilly: "Thankyou." Lilly: "How long have I known you Marcus?"
Marcus: "Since you moved here of course, why do you ask?"
Lilly: "No reason I was just curious."
Marcus: "No tell me."
Lilly: "It was just something that Jennifer said..."
Marcus: "What did she say?"
Lilly: "She said I might have known you before I moved here to Riverblossom." Marcus' Flashback Marcus: "What am I doing? Oh yes, I have to attack Paul and Lilly so that she will fall in love with me when she runs away to Riverblossom. Why am I doing this? To get Lilly to fall in love with me." He snuck up on them both and took Paul, hoping Lilly would follow. He knocked Paul out and left him lying in the trees, then caught up with Lilly who had followed them in... End of flashback
Marcus: "No Lilly you don't know me from anywhere..."
Lilly: "Oh Ok." When Lilly was sure that Marcus was asleep she slowly crawled out of bed and crept downstairs. Lilly: "Paul, Jennifer left..."
Paul: "Lilly I have to tell you something... about Jennifer."
Lilly: "She took Trisha with her..."
Paul: "What? Where has she gone?"
Lilly: "She went to my mothers Paul. I just had to tell you..."
Paul: "Why have you not gone to get her?"
Lilly: "Because my mum won't let me have her and I won't get the police involved because I don't want to get Jennifer into trouble."
Paul: "But she has kidnapped our child!"
Lilly: "Paul, please be quiet Marcus is asleep, I don't want him to wake up and find us." Paul: "Oh yes, dear Marcus, who can't find us or your relationship with him will be ruined..."
Lilly: "Paul it's not like that, I told you why I am with him"
Paul: "Well, you know what Lilly? I don't care, I DON'T CARE!"
Lilly: "Paul, please be quiet, You said you would wait for me."
Paul: "I don't care what I said Lilly, seeing you with another man kills me inside. I just want you to love me as I love you."
Lilly: "But Paul, I do love you..."
Paul: "Do you?"
Lilly: "You know I do"
Paul: "Then stop this madness! Leave him and come with me, we'll get Trisha and go!"
Lilly: "Paul, please don't ask this of me. I need to find out what happened that night" Paul: "You know what your problem is Lilly? You can't let things be! I am going to get Trisha now, and if you don't come with me, we're finished and you will never see Trisha again."
Lilly: "Paul I can't... please, just wait, Marcus is getting scared, he's going to tell me soon, I can feel it!"
Paul: "No Lilly that's enough! It's now or never, choose, me or your past."
Lilly: "Paul!"
Paul: "CHOOSE!"
Lilly: "I can't Paul, go then, take Trisha! You'll be breaking my heart... but you do what you have to do... and so will I!" Lilly watched Paul leave her forever, she knew she had made a stupid mistake, but she had to find out the truth. Tears formed in her eyes as she traipsed back to her bed with Marcus. Ewww, well she had made her bed, now she must lay in it. Paul arrived at Angelique Godfrey's house early that morning, but the sun was already burning hot in the sky, her flowerbeds were perfectly trimmed and the lawns evenly cut. The shingles on the outside walls were flawlessly clean giving Paul the impression that they had been touched up with paint recently. As Angelique heard the doorbell ringing she instantly ran to her granddaughter.
Angelique: "Jennifer. It's probably your mother come to fetch you, stay up here out of sight."
Jennifer: "Ok grandma, but what about Trisha?"
Angelique: "I'll keep an eye on her, don't worry." Angelique: "Oh Paul! I wasn't expecting you... alone"
Paul: "Well, I have just come to fetch Trisha, Lilly was a bit... apprehensive about coming to see you."
Angelique: "And she should be! I am disgusted with her lack of responsibility! And you should not be bothering Lilly anymore, she has had enough of a time with it without you showing your face again. Anyway I was just making some breakfast would you like to join me?"
Paul: "Yes please, I would be very grateful and I appreciate your hospitality."
Angelique: "Oh it's no problem at all, do come in." As Angelique was preparing the breakfast Paul snuck up the stairs without a sound... He took trisha and cradled her in his arms.
Paul: "Too bad your mum didn't choose us isn't it poppet? It's Ok we'll be Ok just you and me from now on!" Angelique: "I won't let you do this Paul! She doesn't belong with you, you are a cruel man! Now leave her with me and go."
Paul: "I'm afraid I can't do that Mrs. Godfrey. You see I am her father and I have every right to take her back into my care! Now if you don't move I am afraid I am going to have to force you out of my way!"
Angelique: "You'll have to strike me down before I let you leave with her!"
Paul: "Very well then..." And to Angelique's very great surprise he knocked her off her feet. As she lay crumpled in a heap she called out for Jennifer.
Angelique: "Jennifer? Come here sweety, call a cab I am taking you back to your mum's"
Jennifer: "But Grandma, you can't, you just can't take me back there."
Angelique: "I have to, Jennifer, Paul just took Trisha!" Paul made his escape with baby Trisha, but was extremely sorry for knocking the old lady down... but he had warned her, she should have just got out of the way... Angelique: "Lilly: "I am coming to see you, and I am bringing Jennifer with me..." Lilly: "But what about Trisha?"
Angelique: "I'm sorry Lilly, Paul took her..."
Lilly: "Mum! How could you let him?"
Angelique: "I didn't let him Lilly, he knocked me to the ground and escaped"
Lilly: "Oh God! Mum I am so sorry, this is all my fault, are you Ok? If I hadn't..."
Angelique: "Lilly stop blaming yourself, it's not your fault it's Paul's, he should not have showed up like he did and ruined your life. We will make him pay Lilly."
Lilly: "How?"
Angelique: "We will discuss these things when I arrive, will Marcus be there?"
Lilly: "Marcus won't be home till late as usual..."
Angelique: "Good, we really need to talk..." Lilly worked herself to the bone, trying to make the house presentable for her mother... she was a neat freak. Lilly only hoped she had stopped smoking now, she didn't want her house to be filled with the stale smell of smoke. Lilly: "Jennifer! I have missed you so much!"
Jennifer: "Mum, I have only been gone for a couple of days!"
Lilly: "I know but I thought I would never see you again, but why did you take her Jennifer?"
Jennifer: "Because I had to protect her, from Paul and Dad, none of them would have looked after them like I could."
Lilly: "No but I would..."
Jennifer: "I know mum, I'm sorry."
Angelique: "So... Lilly we need to talk, how are we going to sort these men of yours out?"
Lilly: "Jennifer, go set up a room for your grandma to stay in, while I have a chat, please."
Jennifer: "Don't I get to be a part of your plans?"
Angelique: "Not yet sweetheart..."
Jennifer: "I'll just go sort out that room then..." Angelique: "So why did you choose Marcus when he was abusing you?"
Lilly: "Well, Paul was hitting Jennifer, as you already know, and you know the reason I moved to Riverblossom? Well I had reason to suspect that Marcus was involved and I wanted to find out the truth... and Paul left me because he didn't want to wait for me anymore..."
Angelique: "Well the first thing we need to do is find Paul and get Trisha back, then we need to confront Marcus with our suspicions and see what happens."
Lilly: "No mum, I need to find what Marcus did first by tricking him, but I need you to keep him on his toes, and then we'll get Trisha back."
Angelique: "So... what? How am I supposed to keep Marcus on his toes?"
Lilly: "I don't know, scare him a bit... say things about the woods and my attack... make him uncomfortable."
Angelique: "I guess that could be easy enough."
Lilly: "But we will need Jennifer's help aswell"
Angelique: "With what?"
Lilly: "To help weedle his secrets out of him..." Jennifer: "So you want me to keep telling dad how much I love him and keep reassuring him that I trust him and stuff?"
Lilly: "Yes lure him into a false sense of security or better yet make him feel so guilty that he blurts out everything!"
Jennifer: "Ok mum, calm down. I'll do it, but what if he suspects?"
Lilly: "He won't suspect. His love for you will blind him to any tricks you may have."
Angelique: "But what are you going to do if you find out he did it?"
Lilly: "I don't know, throw him out... again. If that's what Jennifer wants..."
Jennifer: "It will be fine, I don't know him anymore, he scares me" Angelique: "Hi Marcus."
Marcus: "Angelique, so good to see you again."
Angelique: "Yes it's a pleasure..."
Marcus: "I hear you've been taking care of Jennifer? I really appreciate it."
Angelique: "It's no problem... so been attacking people in the woods Marcus? Hahaha just my little joke see? Seriously though, I wonder who has been doing it, it just doesn't seem to stop."
Marcus: "Yes, strange isn't it?"
Angelique: "A bit too strange if you ask me, someone close to Lilly must have done this!"
Marcus: "Why would you say that?"
Angelique: "Well it just seems a bit too random to be someone she doesn't know and a bit too obvious if it's someone she does know. Understand what I am saying?"
Marcus: "Er, yes well I am going to see Jennifer now..."
Angelique: "Ok I'll speak to you later?"
Marcus: "Yeah sure." Marcus: "I've missed you sweetheart!"
Jennifer: "I've misssed you too daddy, and I don't care if you killed Paul, I'll love you no matter what!"
Marcus: "Jennifer, I didn't kill Paul..."
Jennifer: "You didn't?"
Marcus: "No. I didn't, I just paid him to leave us alone..."
Jennifer: "Oh..."
Marcus: "I need to tell you something Jennifer..."
Jennifer: "Ok tell me"
Marcus: "A few weeks before your birthday, me and your mum found a body just past the driveway... it was the lady who came to welcome us here... Melissa you remember her? Well anyway, she had a horrible scar on her face, the same one that your mum has..."
Jennifer: "Mum has a scar?"
Marcus: "Yes well, your mum put that scar on Melissa's face, I have no idea why but she did."
Jennifer: "But that doesn't make sense, that would suggest that she gave herself the scar in the first place, so the attack in the woods never happened?"
Marcus: "Well, it might not have, we don't know yet, that's what I want you to help me figure out..."
Jennifer: "Ok..."
*FLASHBACK*
He couldn't do it to her, he loved her too much. He would just have to wait until she left that loser Paul and choose him instead...
*END OF FLASHBACK* Jennifer: "Mum! You lied to me!"
Lilly: "Lied about what?"
Jennifer: "You were never attacked in those woods were you?"
Lilly: "Jennifer, what are you talking about?"
Jennifer: "Dad told me that you put the scar on Melissa's face! The same scar you have from the "attack" so what were you doing mum, getting some high school revenge? What?"
Lilly: "Why have you been listening to your dad, he killed Melissa!"
Jennifer: "Stop trying to distract me from the subject and tell the truth!" Lilly: "Jennifer... I..."
Jennifer: "Tell the truth!"
Lilly: "You don't know what they did to me..."
Jennifer: "Tell me what you did!"
Lilly: "I tricked them... They didn't do anything... I made it all up."
Jennifer: "Tell me the whole story."
Lilly: "Well, I dated them both in high school, and then they both broke my heart... they were best friends you see, and they used me, so I wanted revenge! And I have been playing it out through all of these years. I tricked them both into coming into the woods and told Marcus to drag Paul off into the woods and then I would date him... then I staged my own attack and pretended that they did it. I made sure that it looked like they were both involved. But it seems that I didn't develop the plan in time and Marcus found out what I was up to..."
Jennifer: "I can't believe you! You lied about everything! You tried to get me to send my own innocent father to prison so you could have revenge because they used you in high school! I hate you!"
Lilly: "Jennifer I'm sorry..." Jennifer: "No! I don't care that you're sorry it makes no difference to me! You tried to ruin my life!"
Lilly: "No, that wasn't what I was trying to do. I was just trying to..."
Jennifer: "Yes I know, you were trying to get your revenge. I am not going to listen to anything else you say! I'm leaving with dad now! We don't want to put up with any more of your rubbish. I'm glad Trisha was taken by Paul now! You could have ruined everybody's lives!"
Lilly: "Jennifer, don't leave me again, I can't live without you!"
Jennifer: "I don't care what you do anymore, leave Riverblossom, start again but you'll be doing it without any of us. You'd better hope you're mum still supports you, because no-one else will!" Jennifer: "Dad it was all true, mum confessed to everything. You were right, she was just tricking you and me and well everybody else!"
Marcus: "Come Jennifer, we're leaving... did she say why she did it?"
Jennifer: "Yes it was because you and Paul both used her in high school and she wanted revenge."
Marcus: "Oh, well anyway we're leaving." Lilly: "Mum, they left me... Jennifer and Marcus, they both left me!"
Angelique: "It's going to be Ok Lilly, you still have me, no matter what."
Lilly: "Yes but mum, all the people I care about are gone, all because I wanted revenge on some stupid thing that happened years ago. What do I do now?"
Angelique: "You come home to live with me."
Lilly: "I can't mum I have to stay in this house me and Marcus designed it."
Angelique: "But you won't get a fresh start..."
Lilly: "And I won't be here if any of them come back... what if Paul comes back? If I'm not here I really will have lost them forever..."
Angelique: "Well I have to go Lilly. I belong in my house as you belong here, in yours."
Lilly: "Ok mum goodbye." Lilly sat in Jennifer's room, missing her already, she would never see her again. She was destined to be a lonely old woman forever.
Lilly: "I'm sorry Jennifer, I made a stupid mistake I just wish I could change things, it wasn't supposed to end this way..." Lilly: "Paul what are you doing here?"
Paul: "Well, I heard about the trick, and I wanted Trisha to be here for her birthday... I wanted you to see her..."
Lilly: "Paul, I'm so sorry I shouldn't have done it. I'm so ashamed I've driven everyone away..."
Paul: "Lilly it's Ok, but lets throw our baby her birthday party."
Lilly: "Ok come inside." Trisha's birthday went smoothly with no interruptions or let downs, as a 3rd birthday party should, and Lilly felt fulfilled, she had provided for her family up till now, though not as well as she could have hoped but good all the same. It was now she finally felt she had done something worthwhile, she had taught Jennifer what is right and what is wrong, though in quite an unorthadox manner, but still she had learned. Paul: "Lilly, I just came here to tell you that, this is the last time you will ever see Trisha, we are moving away, you might want to go and stay with your mother for a while and then inherit everything she has..."
Lilly: "But Paul, you're leaving me too, what if I want custody, I will fight for her Paul..."
Paul: "You don't have a job! How are you supposed to support Trisha when you can't even support yourself? How are you going to keep living in an extravagant house like this?"
Lilly: "I'll move to a smaller quieter place..."
Paul: "Quieter than Riverblossom? Where exactly would you go this time Lilly?"
Lilly: "Paul, I need her... I have nothing without you and Trisha..."
Paul: "Funny how the tables have turned isn't it Lilly? You end up woth nothing and me and Marcus get everything..."
Lilly: "Paul don't do this... you can't... you wouldn't..."
Paul: "Yes I would and I'm leaving tonight. now let's just enjoy the rest of the night we have together Ok?" Paul left a few hours later, relieved to finally be rid of her, him and Trisha were going to start a new life... away from all this... away from her. For some reason, Marcus was there aswell, he left at roughly the same time as Paul... but what was he doing there... he was supposed to be with Jennifer... Lilly lay sprawled across the cold kitchen floor... dead. But who killed her? I have my suspicions and I guess you have yours... THE END
I hope you enjoyed this series. And I really hope I tied up all the loose ends in this action packed part of the story (apart from Lilly's death of course).
