Welcome to the third part of 'History...Is Destined to Repeat Itself' If you haven't read the first 2 parts I would advise you to do so as you won't understand what is going on.
Lilly: "Jennifer, you know I don't... and please just leave me alone, if you are going to keep talking about Paul attacking you..."
Jennifer: "I'm not going to talk about it, but only because you don't believe me... but I want to go and look for Dad, i think he was in those woods with you."
Lilly: "What? Why do you think that?"
Jennifer: "Well, how do you know if he didn't follow you to Riverblossom Hills aswell, he could have been the one who attacked you all those years ago just so you would fall into his arms away from Paul."
Lilly: "Jennifer, I have told you your father is a good man and I wish you would stop trying to guess what people attacked me and keep attacking me. you're hurting me with all these suspicions Jennifer."
Jennifer: "I'll stop then. But now, I am going to look for Dad."
Lilly: "Jennifer, NO!" Jennifer: "You're keeping something from me aren't you?"
Lilly: "No, of course I'm not, but if you want to go and look for your Dad, fine... go, I can't be bothered with you anymore."
Jennifer: "Mum, what is it. Just tell me"
Lilly: "There's nothing, now go and look for your father."
Jennifer: "Won't you come with me?"
Lilly: "No, because he is not there and i will never go back to the woods...never." Jennifer: "Come on, mystery killer person, come and get me. I'm waiting..." Marcus: "Jennifer what are you doing here? Where is your mother?"
Jennifer: "Dad, i was looking for you, i tried at your house but you weren't there. Why do you want to know where mum is?"
Marcus: "I just thought she would be back..."
Jennifer: "back? What do you mean back? How did you even know she was here earlier? Dad where's Paul?"
Marcus: "I got him out of the way, I know what he did to you jennifer..."
Jennifer: "Dad what did you do?"
Marcus: "So Jennifer where is your mum?"
Jennifer: "She ... I... Dad stay away from me. I don't know you anymore, I had no idea you were capable of this! I thought you loved me!"
Marcus: "I do, I'm just protecting you..."
Jennifer: "Leave me alone Dad, I'm going home!"
Jennifer: "MUM? It was Dad, Mum where are you?" Marcus: "Jennifer, you're mum isn't here... Jennifer? Come with me I will protect you. I know what he did to you Jennifer, I know your mum didn't believe you and I know what she did" Jennifer: "Mum! There you are!"
Lilly: "Jennifer what is it? You seem flushed?"
Jennifer: "Mum it was Dad!"
Lilly: "What was Dad?"
Jennifer: "it was him who attacked Paul in the woods, I found him there, he told me..."
Lilly: "Jennifer, are you lying to me?"
Jennifer: "No Mum we don't have time for this! Dad is probably coming, I... I didn't lock the door. What if he's here mum?"
Lilly: "Jennifer, calm down I'll go downstairs and lock the door you wait here and lock after Trisha." Jennifer: "No Mum I will go."
Lilly: "No you won't what if he's there, i don't want you to get hurt."
Jennifer: "Remember what I told you before: He cares more for me than he does for you. He won't hurt me."
Lilly: "I won't risk it Jennifer, i can't risk it you look after Trisha, besides I need to have a chat with him."
Jennifer: "Mum..."
Lilly: "No Jennifer." Lilly: "Did you do it? Did you do it?"
Marcus: "Hello Lilly it's good to see you again."
Lilly: "DID YOU DO IT!"
Marcus: "Do what Lilly?"
Lilly: "Did you kill Paul?"
Marcus: "Of course I didn't, and if I did would it matter that much to you now anyway?"
Lilly: "Of course it would Marcus, i love him!"
Marcus: "Like you loved me, you mean."
Lilly: "No Marcus, i've loved him since I was a child, it's you who forced me away from him! You attacked me! and now you have attacked him!" Marcus: "Lilly I already told you I didn't attack him."
Lilly: "Jennifer told me!"
Marcus: "I told Jennifer I got him out of the way... i didn't attack him I just bargained for you."
Lilly: "What?"
Marcus: "I paid him off, he won't be bothering you again. I was only protecting Jennifer..." Lilly: "No you weren't you were protecting yourself! I am sick of this I am going to tell your daughter what you really are!"
Marcus: "NO! Lilly please don't you can't do this to me!"
Lilly: "It's not my fault you're so overbearing... I need to tell somebody Marcus, I can't keep this to myself what about her family, her friends?"
Marcus: "Lilly, please don't tell Jennifer, I need her to love me if I don't have Jennifer I have nothing..."
Lilly: "Go looking for love Marcus because you won't find it here! Jennifer hates you! I hate you!" Marcus: "Lilly... please... don't do this to me."
Lilly: "I have done nothing Marcus what do you want me to do?"
Marcus: "i want you to say you love me, even after all this time."
Lilly: "But I don't Marcus... how can i tell you something that isn't true?"
Marcus: "Just tell me you love me and I will go, I don't know where but i need to know someone loves me."
Lilly: "Just because I say it doesn't make it true Marcus."
Marcus: "JUST TELL ME!"
Lilly: "Ok Marcus I love you..." Marcus: "I love you too, Lilly."
Lilly: "Marcus! It wasn't true I just said it because you wanted me to."
Marcus: "Lilly, I know you, you would not have said that if you really didn't mean it..."
Lilly: "Marcus... I... I don't..." ... Jennifer: "it's Ok Trisha, everything's going to be Ok... Mummy will be up soon. Marcus isn't going to get us." Paul: "Jennifer, where is your mother?"
Jennifer: "Paul? What are you doing here? Dad killed you!"
Paul: "No he didn't, but I need to protect your mum!"
Jennifer: "why what is Dad going to do?"
Paul: "Jennifer, there's no time, please this is for your mum not me"
Jennifer: "though, I expect there will be some benefits for you?"
Paul: "Jennifer, please..."
Jennifer: "Not until you tell me exactly why you constantly abused me!"
Paul: "Jennifer..." Jennifer: "I was going to kill her you know?"
Paul: "Who? Your mother?"
Jennifer: "No Paul, your daughter... Trisha. Just so that she wouldn't ever be like you, that was before I realised she would never be like you because I was going to look after her, you won't come anywhere near her ever again unless you tell me why you hit me!"
Paul: "Jennifer... I'm... so sorry. It's just, I don't know..."
Jennifer: "You'd better come up woth a reasonable explanation quick then because mum is downstairs with dad and trisha is here with me and you want both!"
Paul: "It's because I loved your mum." Jennifer: "I don't see how that fits Paul! It doesn't make sense you love my mum so you beat her only daughter? Way to go!"
Paul: "No you don't understand..."
Jennifer: "Well you had better start explaining!"
Paul: "Ok Ok, it's because me and your mum were meant to be together since we were children, we have everything in common, it's just that when I saw you, your face, Lilly's face mixed with someone elses I was jealous... I despised you, Lilly's children were all supposed to look like her with a hint of me."
Jennifer: "So you beat me because you were jealous that I looked like my father? I hate you Paul! I won't tell my mum the truth but I hope you will, in time. But I won't stay here if you fdo, I have to go find my way on my own. I'm leaving Riverblossom I have to find somewhere to spread my wings and get away from all the drama. Oh! Mum is downstairs in the living room..." Paul: "Lilly? Don't he's tricking you."
Lilly: "Paul, just go I know what you did to my daughter."
Paul: "You don't love him Lilly, you love me."
Marcus: "Not anymore Paul, she loves me again."
Lilly: "Yes Paul, I do, now please don't bother us now."
Paul: "Lilly I love you."
Lilly: "Please don't Paul, it tears me inside... I can't choose, leave me alone, both of you!"
Paul: "I think you should have a chat with your daughter, and then decide... if you can."
Marcus: "She already knows what she wants Paul and that's me...."
Lilly: "STOPPIT! I will go and speak with jennifer and see what she has to say"
Marcus: "What's best for her isn't always best for you Lilly."
Lilly: "... Yes... actually it is." Lilly: "Jennifer what do I do? i can't choose, your dad hit me, Paul hits you what should I do?"
Jennifer: "Mum it's your decision, i won't be staying here anyway it doesn't matter what you decide."
Lilly: "You're going to leave me? Oh Jennifer you can't"
Jennifer: "If I was you mum I would choose Paul, it's not about me anymore, Trisha needs to grow up with her Dad not mine, besides Paul said you were in danger from Dad and I believe him."
Lilly: "But he hit you?"
Jennifer: "No. Mum he didn't I was just seeking attention as usual... I'm sorry."
Lilly: "and you're telling the truth now"
Jennifer: "Yes mum i am." Paul: "What are you going to do to her?"
Marcus: "If she doesn't choose me I will tell Jennifer what she did."
Paul: "But then Lilly would only tell her what you did, it won't turn out well. She won't like being pressured into choosing one of her parents."
Marcus: "And what do you know about anything?"
Paul: "I know jennifer better than you!"
Marcus: "I know what you did to her, she's terrified of you!"
Paul: "We'll see." Lilly: "Marcus what were you doing in the woods tonight?"
Marcus: "I was bargaining with Paul to let you go so I could have you, but it looks like he went back on his word... I want my money back!"
Paul: "You only wanted me out of the way so I didn't spoil your plans!"
Lilly: " And what are your plans Marcus?"
Marcus: "I want us to get married again and I want to adopt Trisha."
Paul: "No, you won't I won't let you!"
Lilly: "Neither will i Paul."
Marcus: "So you have chosen him?"
Lilly: "No Marcus I haven't."
Paul: "Lilly... please, don't do this... you're putting yourself in danger..."
Lilly: "Marcus already told me his plans I don't see them as dangerous, I have to make this marriage work Paul, I have to try, i still love you both, but I was never married to you Paul, we shared no commitments, no vows..."
Paul: "Fine, but I don't think that some words mean anything, i will wait for you Lilly. When this goes wrong..."
Lilly: "Marcus, i just need to speak with Paul alone for a moment Ok?"
Marcus: "You haven't changed your mind have you?"
Lilly: "No Marcus of course I haven't. Please it's just a chat."
Marcus: "Of course, take it outside."
Lilly: "Thankyou, i love you." Lilly: "Paul, before you say anything... i love you, Marcus I just need to weedle some information out of him, I think he was the one who attacked us, now and all those years ago. But I need you to promise that you will wait for me, do you promise?"
Paul: "I... promise, but Lilly it was him, why else did he attack me in the woods he didn't give me any money to leave you and if he had I wouldn't have left you anyway. i love you."
Lilly: "Jennifer told me that you didn't hit her and she would rather I be with you... i am so sorry for accusing you of something you didn't do."
Paul: "Lilly... I"
Lilly: "That's enough Paul i love you too."
Paul: "Marry me Lilly?"
Lilly: "Of course I will, but not yet, just wait and I will marry you. I need to delve into my past and find what Marcus did"
Paul: "I know and i support you, just be careful."
Lilly: "I will." This Part was supposed to be a final part but I wanted to keep the suspence up and I wanted you to tell me what you thought, who you suspect... anything really. is Lilly as good as she appears, is she tricking Marcus, or Paul. Was it Marcus who attacked them in the woods, is it Paul playing mind games, or is Jennifer in on the act?
