Hi and welcome to Rich Girls: Waking Up. There are many parts to this story Including: The Intro, New Beginnings, The College Life, Hospital Woes, The Simple Life? Newlyweds and Eyes Wide Shut. I hope you read and enjoyed the others first. Now please read on. I started the day with my routine cleanser... The girls were still a part of me that I could not let go. I wanted to move on for Frances and Emily's sake, but I didn't have it in me to pretend to be happy when I was worried about Ellie and Francesca. But, as I stared at my reflection, I knew I had to do something... Frances needed me, I know he was just as upset about Francesca and Ellie, but he just didn't want to show weakness in front of me. Now I just had to prove to him that I could be just as strong... I needed to show Emily the love I should have shown her the day I had her. I made Frances his favourite breakfast... pancakes. I could only apologise once I had him in a good enough mood... obviously. Besides once he ate these, he would be wide awake and be able to concentrate on more important matters... like work. Anyway I have to get his paper, I know he likes to read it at breakfast. I took one step out the door and shrieked in startled surprise... as you can see I found a little girl and a puppy in a basket on my deck. I looked around for the culprit, but no-one was there. I looked into the little girls eyes and saw myself staring back out of them. I stooped low and held out my arms to pick her up... she willingly accepted and I carried her inside, barely noticing that she had a note tied around her neck. I ran into the kitchen where Frances was reading his paper.
"Frances, Frances, Frances! I found her! We've hot her back!"
"Bonnie, what are you talking about? Thanks for the pancakes by the way... it's nice to know that I am appreciated once in a while..." I started bouncing up and down with Francesca giggling in my arms.
"It's Francesca, I've got her!" "Bonnie, please... I'm reading the paper. And I know that you don't have her... you're just trying to wind me up." Frances went back to reading his paper while I stood there dumbfounded... but only for a few seconds.
"Frances, just look! We've got her back... please look."
"I won't look Bonnie, I won't have my heart wrenched away again... I can barely look in your eyes anymore... how do you expect me to look into a childs? Please leave me, I will be busy today." He turned once again to his paper, while I took Francesca to her new bedroom. Francesca looked like she had been treated well... no marks of abuse, nothing. She played happily with Teddy all the time, and there was just something about her that reminded me so much of... well me! Although that's not exactly a good thing, with the way I used to be, but we could fix all that. The problem was Frances, he was still not convinced that it was our Francesca, but he wouldn't give it a chance - he wouldn't even look at her!
"What makes you so sure Bonnie? This could just be a trick... what if - what if the person who brought her here is just trying to get us in trouble for kidnapping, seems the sort of thing Connie would do!" I looked at him, I could see he just didn't want to get hurt again... but she is his daughter. "Connie would never do that, she's my best friend, yes she might have taken her in the first place... But look at the letter! She felt to incredibly guilty that's why she returned Francesca. Please. Frances, for me... go and look at Francesca, if you just look at her you'll see that she is ours!" I don't know why but Frances couldn't even bear to look at her, it was so hard to live with, but then I was so hard to live with when I wouldn't look at Emily. "I won't look at her Bonnie! I don't want to have lost another again! I don't think I could handle it... you weren't the only one who had trouble when our babies were stolen. But again, you always manage to make everything about YOU! I thought our world was over when they were taken... but then Emily came and I thought... I thought it would be our new beginning. I thought we would be able to get over it, with our second chance, but you ruined it for us Bonnie! And I don't think I can take anymore of your selfishness anymore. I need to get away... if only for a few days. I need to clear my head." He got up and headed to the bedroom... presumably to pack his things. I followed him to the bedroom and caught him pulling our dusty suitcases from under the bed. He began rushing around the room grabbing random items of clothing and stuffing them into the cases, while talking to himself.
"This is Francesca look at her... doesn't she know how I feel? I thought she understood me... but then I thought a lot of things that aren't true. I thought this marriage was worth something." I stepped forwards.
"So you're just leaving? Without even thinking about it? Are you going to say goodbye to your children? They need you... I need you." I tried to smile, but it must have seemed more like a grimace as he turned towards me. "Bonnie, when I needed you where were you? Oh that's right, snooping behind my back trying to find out if I was cheating on you or brooding over your lost children!" My grimace turned into a frown. "Besides I have been thinking about this for a while, I really have to get away... you have had your alone time, let me have mine! Your hurting me Bonnie. I have felt so lonely this past year, you've been so distant... I've missed you. But I really have to go and yes. I'm going to say goodbye to Emily." I wanted to flare up in rage, but I backed down against my better judgement... I had to let him go. But how was I meant to look after the girls alone?
"Frances?"
"I'll still back you financially of course, I will send you cheques in the mail... I'm, sorry about this Bonnie, but I can't handle it right now. I'll be back I promise." He kissed me and I felt it - I knew he would be back soon... I knew he wouldn't leave me alone. I still loved him and I was extrememly sorry for what I had put him through... he didn't deserve any of it.
"I'm sorry Frances..."
"I'm sorry too, but I have to clear my head."
"Please stay?" I begged and begged, but he wouldn't let up. He wanted to leave and no amount of my pleading was going to stop him. He left me after that, and it was all I could do to keep it together. I could feel the hot tears forming as I watched him climb into the taxi... I tried to imagine that he was just going on a little holiday. But even my naiivety couldn't stretch that far. I collapsed in a heap of tears... I let them fall what else could I do? I stood there for a while just crying. I stared out to sea for a while, letting the sea breeze whip my face and dry my tears... my eyes were sore, and my face stung from the cold. But I felt refreshed. New. I had to take care of my girls, it didn't matter how long it took for Frances to come around, I knew I always had to be there for them. But that's not to say I didn't miss him... of course I missed him. I would often sit on the bed thinking about him... inhaling his scent from the pillow. But it didn't take long and his scent was gone. Well, it might have been a while, but I wasn't really counting the days. It just seemed that all too soon he was gone. But I looked after the girls as they grew. We were happy our little family... but it just didn't seem right to me. The girls were Ok, they didn't really notice their father was missing. They were still young. It took a while for Emily to get used to me, but soon it was as if Frances had never been there. It didn't take long for me to get into a routine with my girls. And when I was busy with them I forgot about Frances. But when I finally got to sleep in the early hours of the morning... thoughts of Frances kept popping into my head, it was like when I was asleep I was letting my guard down, letting him in places I didn't want him to be when I was awake. I can't say that I wasn't exactly surprised when Frances didn't show up for Francesca's birthday. While I helped Francesca blow out the candles, my thoughts strayed... not to Frances, but to Ellie. I was worried about her, she would be getting older... I just wish I was able to be with her on her birthday as well. But when he didn't show up for Emily's I was livid! How could he do this to her! She had given him so much happiness... had he given up on us? Although, I did get enjoyment from seeing Francesca enjoying the festivities. But no matter how much I tried to make sure things were Ok for me and my daughters... we were in trouble. Frances' cheques had stopped coming and I was slowly losing grip... I needed help, and a job. But how was I supposed to get those things when I needed to look after my kids. I thought of calling Annabelle a lot but how could I ask her to support me when I had ignored her for so long. It had been 5 years or more since we last spoke to each other. I had left her alone with the evil Courtney. She would never forgive me for that, and I wouldn't expect her to. I put Emily to bed, and was ready for my peaceful few hours sleep when a knock sounded on the front door... who could that be at three in the morning? Don't people have any respect? Well, needless to say I hurried to the door to find out who it was. I opened the door to find Annabelle standing ther, looking grim faced. I immediately pulled her into a hug.
"I am so sorry... I'm sorry I haven't spoken to you all these years!"
"Er, Bonnie... I have some grave news, you might want to sit down." My eyes were burning yet again from the excitement of seeing my baby sister again. "Courtney's dead" she said bluntly
"You came here to tell me that my evil foster mother is dead? It's hardly grave news is it?"
"Er, that was my little joke see? I thought you would find it funny... "Grave" news? No? Not funny? Ok then..." I suddenly burst out laughing, not from the awful joke, but from being reunited with my sister again. "So, what's been going on here? Where's Frances? In bed?" I shook my head and began to tell her everything, from Frances being on a break to me running out of money... and my worries of how I was supposed to keep my girls happy. "Bonnie? You need to move back in with me. The house looks amazing, well not that different actually... it's just that Courtney is gone." "Annabelle, I can't go back there." I stated resigned to the fact that it wasn't home anymore. "Ever since dad died, it just didn't feel the same... that's why I got out of there as fast as I could." She looked at me, her lips pursed in thought.
"Then we'll get a place together... I'll pay of course. We can find a cute house, but I have a big surprise for you... you see I won't be alone." I stared at her in surprise.
"Who is it? Annabelle you know you can't keep secrets from me!" But she did manage to keep it a secret and as we said goodbye... I began to get more curious as to who my baby sister was spending her time with. We arrived at the new house a few days later, just as it had started to rain. Trust Annabelle to find somewhere homely and cutsie for us. I breathed in the scent form the wild flowers and trees that grew around, it was extremely calming and this already felt like home... even more homely than the sea. Me and Annabelle sat out on the veranda a few hours later, talking about what had happened over the past five years. She told me that the business was going great, and said that she couldn't thank our father enough for passing the responsibility down to her. But I wanted to find out about this guy that we were going to be sharing our time with so I burst out and asked her.
"What guy? I never said we were staying with a guy... I just said you were going to get a surprise from the person who is staying with us." I watched her confused.
"I have no idea what you're talking about Annabelle, I thought you were talking about a guy you met..."
"No, I wasn't but look around..." She bowed her head to a point just pst my shoulders and I turned around... To find two of my eyes staring back at me... Francesca was standing there.
"Francesca, I like you bunches, they look cute on you." Francesca looked at me as if she did not recognise me. "Francesca?"
"I'm not Francesca! My name is Ellie." I was debating with myself whether to end this part here, and figured I would just to keep you in suspense! Look out for the next part... if you please. thanks to all the custom content creators and my ravid readers...lol Thank you all!

    I can understand why Frances left \:\( [even if the whole thing is very sad..]: it must have been very frustrating, leaving with Bonnie in those conditions. Actually, I think that Bonnie is still quite spoiled, but..!!! And he (Frances) has been soo sweet kissing Bonnie before leaving.. it really means that he does want to come back! \:wub\: but, still, Im quite worried: why did he miss the birthdays? and the cheques have stopped coming?! \:confused\:
    Im very gald to see Annabelle back, instead! \:D I have always loved her - she's so pretty! And.. no, its just impossible that it would have been Annabelle in first place to kidnap the twins... right?! \:confused\:
