As promised, a part on Marcus from the History series, it would be wise to read the whole lot including Jennifer's Journal, How did it come to this and with power comes danger if you haven't already. This will show you how he got on with his life with Agatha and their daughter Lolita. This might be the last we ever see of him... but then again, maybe not.

This will show you how he got on with his life with Agatha and their daughter Lolita. This might be the last we ever see of him... but then again, maybe not. In the time we have been gone Lolita has grown and grown and she is a very beautiful young lady. Inheriting only the best features from each of her parents. Agatha was just preparing dinner when Marcus grabbed her attention.
"Oh, honey did you manage to get the money to Lilly? It seemed pretty urgent that they get it immediately." Paul, Lilly and Jennifer had rushed by a few hours ago to collect the money and leave Riverblossom.
"Oh, yeah... they got it. I don't know what they are playing at though, I mean what have they done to that poor girl. Leaving her alone with Trisha, Edward and her being pregnant as well." Agatha bit her lip and carried on cutting the red peppers as Marcus walked off. Recently Lolita had been reading quite a lot and had found an old, leather bound book. She found the incidents in Jennifer Bates' life to be very interesting, if not rather odd. It clearly wasn't the original journal, just a bought copy. Agatha was confusing herself as she wondered whether or not to tell Marcus why Lilly and Paul had needed the money so desperately. She figured it might be unimportant, but it wasn't fair on Marcus that they had endangered him to keep their money safe and leave him with nothing as they rushed off into the night. Breaking a woman's heart in the process. She found Lolita and gave her a quick hug, before dropping to her level for a chat.
"Lolita, I think it's time for you to go to bed, it's getting late." Lolita started to walk away to say goodnight to her daddy. "Wait, wait, wait. You might hear some shouting between mummy and daddy tonight but I just want you to block your eard and go to sleep Ok?" Agatha was disappointed when she got no reply. "I know it will be hard, but it's things you shouldn't really be hearing Ok, me and daddy love each other. Will you promise to cover your ears?"
"Yes mummy, I promise." Satisfied with the answer Agatha allowed Lolita to run off and say goodnight to her daddy. "Goodnight sweety, I'll see you in the morning." Marcus whispered softly before giving her a kiss.
"Daddy, do you love mummy?"
"Of course I do sweetheart, now hurry off to bed and I'll read you a story later." She hurried off and disappeared out of sight as Agatha entered the living room. "Marcus, I need to tell you something." Agatha stated nervously.
"Yes honey, what is it?" She quickly gained her composure before continuing, he was her husband after all, what would he do?
"Well, I know why Lilly and Paul were in such a rush for the money..." Marcus said nothing but just stared at Agatha incredulously. The silence continued as Agatha waited for a reply. Marcus, realised he was going to be the next to say something.
"How could you possibly know what they were in such a rush for?" This was absurd!
"Well, they... er, they told me." She stated simply, Marcus' head twitched and his face flushed, Agatha backed off as his eyes widened. But in seeing the terrified look in his fiancee's face, he managed to calm himself down and continue to find out what had happened with Lilly and Paul.
"So what exactly happened for them to need the money so badly?" "Well, the gang that you work for... They killed Lionel and Rafe, apparently, all they wanted was to get away as fast as possible. People will find out that they are actually alive now so they can't stay here without being suspected. But I don't think that's the whole story. There has to be more behind it." Marcus took a deep breath and apologized for his irrational behaviour earlier before adding.
"They have always had a thing for each other though, Paul and Lilly. Perhaps they are still in love?" Agatha snorted at his innocence.
"I wouldn't be surprised if she had forced him to go with them... I mean she is good at lying, isn't she? What if she has made it impossible for Paul to return? And what about Jennifer? Your daughter is with them too." "I know, but she wants nothing more to do with me... she hasn't ever since she thought I killed Paul. It's all becuase I used to hurt her mother..." He looked at Agatha worriedly.
"It's Ok Marucs, it doesn't matter what we were, I know you have a violent past but I also know that you would never hurt me, and I know that you have killed people but my past isn't exactly sunshine and roses either." She smiled reassuringly and they kissed passionatley before heading to the bedroom. Lolita crawled out of bed, glad that she had heard no shouting. She still wanted to check, however, that her parents' still loved each other. She saw them sleeping in their usual position and was overcome with happiness and she left the room, content. As Lolita giddily skipped up the stairs, she was distracted by the sound of breaking glass and was suddenly scared. Lolita closed her eyes tight and tried to call out for her parents' but her voice got caught in her throat. She couldn't make a sound and she could tell her parents' hadn't even stirred in their sleep. Something was definitely happening downstairs but she was powerless to stop it. A creak on the stairs, no... wait, was it? Footsteps... louder and louder. It suddenly hit Lolita like a tidal wave... someone was coming up the stairs. She could be in danger! But where could she hide? She quickly stumbled into the spare room and hid inside the huge armoire, breathing heavily she closed the doors and stared into the darkness. As Lolita sat and waited in the darkness, she listened to the footsteps that lingered around the upstairs landing. Her breathing reacting to the closeness of the sounds. Slowly the footsteps died away and Lolita gave a deep sigh of relief. The doors were unexpectedly flung open, Lolita still could not speak from fear and her eyes were not yet adjusted to the light and couldn't make out the face, before she was grabbed roughly and hauled to the street outside. She was hurriedly bundled into a car as night broke to day, and was driven off at high speed into the distance... This is the end of this part.
