Description
Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater is the multi-awarding winning video game created and directed by Hideo Kojima and developed by Konami Computer Entertainment Japan and published by Konami for the PlayStation 2. The dramatic story line is set in the 1960's Cold War era and primarily revolves around a massed, hidden, fortune called the Philosophers Legacy, which is sought after by the US, the Soviet Union and Communist China. Most simply put, EVA is the beautiful sleeper agent for the Chinese Government. In an effort to acquire the microfilm containing the details of the Legacy, she poses as Tatyana, a KGB agent who defected from the United States. Then as EVA she is a seductive motocycle jockey who pretends to be sympathetic to the US. She assists Snake in Operation Snake Eater by supplying him with aid and information. A more than caual relationship soon develops between them. At the conclusion of Operation Snake Eater, they spend one night of passion together. Snake awakens the next morning to find EVA gone and a tape recording made by her revealing her true identity. While Snake slept, EVA searched his gear and took what she believed to be the microfilm containing the Legacy details. The Chinese Government had ordered her to kill Snake at the end of Operation Snake Eater, but at the request of The Boss, she does not.
