My stupid computer is doing something where it just suddenly turns itself and tries to restart itself. It makes it impossible to play. I'm taking it in tomorrow. I'm really glad its under warranty.
I'm worried about downloading anything right now in case they need to reinstall the OS. I am going to back up everything, but it's still annoying!

Before you take it in, you might want to pop onto the forums and post about this problem. There are many very knowledgeable people who may be able to help you. Go the the TS2 Help forum (http://forums.thesimsresource.com/forumdisplay.php?f=506) and start a thread. Make sure to include your system specs. The "What do I post in here?" thread stickied at the top of that forum (http://forums.thesimsresource.com/showthread.php?t=325989) will explain how to run DxDiag to find your computer's system specs and how to save that information to post in the thread. Your problem could be due to a few causes - not enough RAM, your video card isn't good enough for the game, or perhaps the video card is very good but your computer's power supply isn't strong enough (name brand computers are notorious for underpowering your system.)

It sounds like you may have contracted a computer virus or a trojan on your computer. It is best to take it in.
