Welcome to the first chapter of Finding the Real Me. I suggest reading the introduction before this as it may get a little confusing. This is more of an 'information' chapter, the action will start later but not until this is out of the way! Enjoy!

Welcome to the first chapter of Finding the Real Me. I suggest reading the introduction before this as it may get a little confusing. This is more of an 'information' chapter, the action will start later but not until this is out of the way! Enjoy! It was only until recently that I realised how different we lived to other families. I hadn't always thought like that though, let me take you back into my childhood.... *Flashback*
I lived every little girls dream: I had pretty pink dresses, did ballet in every spare moment and had the kindest teacher there ever was. I also had a best friend. We did everything together, luckily my parents approved because her family was wealthy and had almost everything my moher wanted: the social status, the house, the lot. We were inseperable: we both wore dresses, we both had flowers in our hair, we both shopped at the same shops, we both went to parties together (as long as they were clean parties), we never were away from each other for more than an hour or two. Back then I actually wanted to do all of those things. Although I did notice that some girls in my class behaved like, well, the boys did. Those two, Sam and Lily, had trousers on, played violent games and were always the first ones to the sand pit when it was out. It was quite a shock to me back then. "What a disgrace!" my mother would say to me whenever she saw them, "What would their mothers say?" was another one she said. I personally don't think their mothers minded. Only when the clean, girly tea parties at school stopped and my friends would rather go to the cinema than do ballet, that I realised I was different to them. And so, from then on, I vowed that the difference would be no longer, and that I would take action against my parents living! *End of Flashback*
When I was 10 I was told that on your 13th birthday you had to make a special wish. This wish would form the path that you took for the rest of your life. My mother had told me that I was to wish for family, as that was what she had wished for. Any other wish was not 'proper'. However, as a child that wanted to be like the other children, and not like her mother, I made a very different wish to what she wanted me to make. The wish I made was that I wanted to be a pleasure sim. This meant no more going to bed early or doing homework on time. It meant saying up late partying and going on plenty of dates. At the time I didn't care what my parents would think when they found out, all I cared about was having a great time. All of the time.
