She is very softhearted and very understanding. She loves her boyfriend Saivon of 6 years very much even though she knows that he may not be the best person for her. She knows about his cheating ways because she has caught him numerous times. She doesn't understand why he has this hold on her but he was there for her in important times that mattered.
Alexis was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She is an only child and was raised by her mother alone. She never knew her father and at this point she don?t even want to know him. Her mother was both parents to her and although difficult, her mother made sure that she was always well taken care of. Everything in Alexis? life changed while in her second year of medical school when her mom found out that she had lung cancer. All Alexis related lung cancer to death, her mother was going to die. It killed her inside but she tried so hard to make all her mother?s dreams come true before she died. That wish came true and even better; Alexis graduated with honors and landed a job in Atlanta?s Saint Joseph?s Hospital?s Gynecology Clinic. She did not want to leave her mother behind and she was only taking her when she was strong enough to go. Two months after Alexis graduated, her mom died. Her best friend, Jessika was there for her throughout the ordeal. Jessika is more like Alexis? sister than her best friend and she also loved Alexis? mother dearly. For the funeral Saivon came from Atlanta to be there for Alexis. Jessika is Alexis have been best friends for what seemed like forever and if you look at it, it probably is forever. They?ve known one another since 1st grade and have been inseparable since. Alexis has been there for Jessika through everything and vice versa. Jessika is very protective of her friend especially when it comes to Saivon. She doesn't trust him at all and she just knows that he will hurt her friend once again. She is a Lesbian and is not ashamed of it either. She is currently single and looking. Jessika is a very passionate person with hopes of everything running smoothly although she knows that life is never that easy. She can be sassy at times but that?s just her personality. She loves with her whole heart and she will have your back in a minute if you were in her immediate circle. The whole schooling thing was never for her however, Alexis did convince her to go to business school. She promised Jessika that where ever she was headed Jessika was going to be with her and she kept her promise. When Alexis got the job offer in Atlanta she inquired about a position and Jessika was offered the Administrative Assistant position in the clinic as well. Jessika was qualified for the job because she had excellent computer skills and schooling for the business world. Alexis was going to make sure Jessika would be okay. Saivon is a little complicated. He wants so much but yet willing to give so little. Basically he wants his cake and eat it too, I know you are supposed to eat cake right? But what happens when one cake is yours and the other is not yours? He thinks it is okay for him to have a main girlfriend and a side chick. Keyana and Saivon have been dating for 2 years and he has been going to school for 4 years. At first the whole affair started because from time to time Saivon needed a warm body and he met Keyana. That was where the cheating began. So where in those 2 years did he grow to love Keyana? What was there not to love? She was very pretty, nice body, sweet, lovable and she was in love with him. Saivon told Keyana I the beginning about Alexis and that didn?t bother her, at least then it didn?t. Once she fell in love with him, it bothered her every time he went to New York. Derrick is described in one word... Player... He is and he has always been a ladies man. Women are his weakness like chocolate is females? weakness. He is cocky, cute and he knows it. He is such a bad influence on Saivon but at the same time he does try to encourage Saivon to get his act together. He tried to explain to him that he has something special with Alexis and after all the years together why mess it up? Saivon sees what he does and wants a part of it which is why he is always cheating. Keyana is a nice person but got mixed up with the wrong person. She is seeing Saivon even though she knows that he is in a relationship. Keyana is in love with Saivon and him having a girlfriend was never a problem since Alexis lives in New York. Saivon told Keyana I the beginning about Alexis and that didn?t bother her, at least then it didn?t. Once she fell in love with him it bothered her every time he went to New York or when he spoke to her. She knew that he would never love her the way that he loves Alexis. Alexis was by far his main girl and Keyana knew that she was only his side chick but while Saivon was in Atlanta he was all hers but now things are about to get shaken up. Carmen is outgoing, nice and has a very kind heart. She is a hot blooded Puerto Rican but sweet other wise and she doesn?t take any mess. She is a lesbian and she is very open about her sexuality and not ashamed of it. She feels that her feelings about females are not by choice because I mean honestly who would choose a life to be gay. It's not like it's a walk in the park. But she is proud of who she is and how she lives her life. She is fresh out of a relationship and currently not looking for another one. Madeline is loud and very blunt. She is going to keep it real with you regardless if you want her to or not. She is sweet but don't cross her. She is currently dating Derrick but it's nothing exclusive. She knows that he is a dog and she accepts that because she is going to be a pimp just like him. She gets what she can get from him and it is what it is. The only person she is soft with is her best friend Carmen. She is straight but she has always secretly had a crush on her best friend, I guess from hearing all of Carmen's stories. After Saivon and Jessika convinced Alexis to take the job offer and move to Atlanta, Saivon found them a town home apartment in his apartment complex. He knew he was playing with fire but the truth was Alexis always came first. She always did and she always will. Alexis and Jessika decided to live separately because the only apartments they had available was 1 bedroom town homes.
Alexis packed up everything that was valuable to her. Mostly what she packed was clothes and her mother?s momentums. She hated leaving her mother behind and not being able to visit her grave when she wanted and that alone was making her uneasy about this new life she was making for herself. The only thing that gave her peace was that she knew her mother would want her to go and take this opportunity being given to her. As she went into the bare house to get the last of the boxes she looked around and a swarm of memories came rushing toward her and she began to weep. This was her home for so long and now everything will be totally different. After her last look at the place she grabbed the boxes and put them into her jeep. Jessika was waiting in the jeep because she figured Alexis needed the alone time. When Alexis got into the jeep Jessika asked, ?Are you okay sweetie??
?Yes, just so many memories in that house. I?m going to miss it.? Alexis answered.
?I know but you know what? We are young and we have lots and lots more wonderful memories to make. Lexis you still have me, you will always have me.? Jessika said sincerely.
?I know Jessi and I love you dearly. Thank you so much for dropping everything and taking this journey with me.?
?No need to thank me girl, WE GOING TO HOT LANTA!? Jessika said with a huge smile. Alexis could help but laugh at her. ?Now that is what I?m talking about. No more tears okay. We are going to live for mommy.? Jessika said.
?Okay one last stop, the cemetery and then we are on our way to HOT LANTA!?
After they stopped at the cemetary and Alexis said her goodbyes to her mother's grave, they got into the car for their long drive Jessica asked Lexi, "You ready for a new life?"
With tears in her eyes, Lexi responded, "I don't know if I'm ready but I have to do this. There are too many sad memories here. I just hate leaving my mom here."
"You are not leaving her here. You are only leaving her body here but her soul is always with you no matter where you go." "You are right Jessie, let's blow this joint!" Lexi said with a fake smile on her face. She was all broken up inside about her mother's death. Her mother was her only blood family she had. She is an only child, no father and no other family. This was going to be extremely hard for her without her mother to talk to, help her with her problems, run to when she just needed a hug. It was hard. Is Alexis really ready for what is in store for her in Atlanta or will Saivon's affair come rushing to the surface. Stay tooned to find out all about these wonderful sims on Double Life Part 1.
