Welcome back to Love, Babies & Lies! Since this is the final chapter and all, I decided to do a quick recap of the main characters of the stories. Just in case any of you are newbies to it (check out the first six chapters!) or if a quick refresher is needed.

Welcome back to Love, Babies & Lies! Since this is the final chapter and all, I decided to do a quick recap of the main characters of the stories. Just in case any of you are newbies to it (check out the first six chapters!) or if a quick refresher is needed.

Steve Damrow, the charming, smooth talking, manipulative at times, ex-husband of Amy. Amy Jacquet, the former wife of Steve. During their marriage, Amy subjected herself to so much physical change when Steve's eyes started to wander, to the point where she lost herself to make a man happy. Jack, Steve and Amy's son. He was attending college studying art. He may look like his father a little, but Jack is a caring and courteous young man. Stef Butler, the woman who betrayed Amy and had an affair with Steve. Stef was Amy's best friend until she caught them together. That was the breaking point of Steve and Amy's relationship, but Steve and Stef continued to see each other. Then there's Amy's second love of her lifetime, Gilbert Jacquet. He's a quiet man who has somehow managed to avoid almost all drama in Riverblossom Hills. He is nothing really special, but don't tell that to Amy because she loves him dearly. Then there's the newest character to come into the story, Adriana Butler. Stef's daughter who captured Jack's heart while they lived together in the same dorm. Not everyone was accepting of the relationship at first, but things seem to be getting better for Adriana and Jack.


Now onto the story! As the days went on and Adriana neared her college graduation, her nerves started to eat her alive. So many questions about the future, none that she knew that answers just yet. On the morning of her final college exam, she had to sneak out of bed because she couldn't handle just laying there. All of her friends, family, and professors could barely look at the anxious girl. She hadn't been able to eat, and she looked as if she were going to break down in tears at any moment. Jack loved Adriana so much, so on their final day together, he sat her down in her room.

"Adriana, I don't know where my life would be without you," Jack explained softly to her. "I was lost and I didn't even know it. Since I have met you, my views on love have been changed. I always questioned them because of my parents, and even though my mom is happy with Gilbert, I always wondered if her and my dad really loved each other, why they couldn't work it out and not cheat on each other. Since you've been in my life though, all my questions and doubts are completely erased, you make the sun shine through the most dark days and I cannot imagine living with you."

"Will that change once I'm gone though?" Adriana whispered, almost on the verge of tears.

"Nothing will be able to change that," Jack smiled as he stroked her hair. "Soon we'll be back together, and we'll never leave each other's side after that." Jack waited patiently for Adriana to come back to the dorms from his exam. He was nervous for her for absolutely no reason, and he knew that. She had been a 4.0 student since her freshman year and had kept that GPA up all four years, so matter how suffocating the school work began to feel. And of course, Adriana had pulled off the highest honors available. She was ready to be done with college, but not so much Jack. Once her party had began, Adriana felt as if she needed a drink to calm her nerves of knowing that she wouldn't be able to sleep with Jack every night as they had throughout their relationship. She wasn't even sure if she'd be able to fall asleep with knowing he's not there. After Adriana had consumed a few drinks, she started to loosen up. She gave herself a mental pat on the back for succeeding at college, she knew she'd be able to get almost any job that she wanted. Jack and Adriana weren't sure who to invite for the party, since there was bad blood between a lot of them. But everything seemed to run smoothly, even when Steve and Stef seemed to be next to each other everytime you looked at either one of them. Adriana was just pleased that her own family and her new family were both very proud of her accomplishments. Adriana had only just noticed that it seemed Jack was MIA from her own graduation party. She began to look around, just scan the room to see if she could find him. He quietly snuck up behind her and tapped her on the shoulder, she spun around quickly and smiled when she saw it was him. She leapt into his arms, and everything in the world seemed to be okay just in that moment. "Adriana, you're my everything, if I hadn't proposed to you already a ring would be in this box," Jack smiled. "And since that ring made me go broke, it's empty."

Adriana shook the box, and well it was light, but it didn't sound empty. She chuckled and opened the box. There was a picture of her and Jack, nearly three years ago, smiling and looking happier than ever.

"I love you, but you just suck at playing jokes," Adriana playfully said to Jack. Adriana had to run to the ladies' room quick, trying to hurry to not miss much of her party. After she had used the bathroom, her fingers started to grow warm, and her body seemed to jerk everywhich way. The experience wasn't really painful, just surprising. Warmth spread throughout her body, and all of a sudden it stopped... And she was transformed into an adult, not a young adult, an actual adult. Jack couldn't believe that the time had already come for Adriana to head back to the real world, it seemed like just yesterday that he had moved into the dorm and that fateful makeover landed them with eachother. All of a sudden, a horn sounded loudly from the street and everyone knew it was time for Adriana to go.
With a tearful goodbye to everyone, and especially Jack, she got into the vehicle and drove off into the night. The next morning she arrived at the house that her mother had helped her buy. It was in the nice part of time, and well, it looked okay to her, but she knew it needed a modern update before she could truely enjoy her new home. She walked into the outdated country style kitchen and had to ask herself with the previous homeowners' were thinking. Soon this would be her home though, soon it would be hers and Jack's home. Adriana made it her mission to make the house more, pretty looking. She opted with a clean white contrasting the red brick and the wood, and she was quite content with the look of the house after she was down with it. After spending a week or so in the house just decorating, repainting, the usual, Adriana knew it was time for her to use her college diploma and get a job. The next day, Adriana woke to a surprise. A new car nestled into her previously empty garage, attached with a note saying,

"For my future wife to get to her to and forth from her new job, only one semester left! Love Jack"

Adriana felt so overjoyed at how amazing Jack could make her feel, and with that, she started her new job. She must have chosen the right career, because she started as a branding director in the marketing career, and when she drove in the driveway later that day she was at the top of the career, as a marketing director. She was a parter of a major computer, and was raking in the dough daily. She called Jack immediately to share her good news.

"Jack!" Adriana exclaimed. "You are on the phone with ValuFirm Marketing's newest marketing director!"

"Congrats, hunny, but I need to get back to the books," Jack said unenthusiastically. The next day, after Adriana arrived home from work, she found a surprise waiting for her on her front porch. She ran to home and smothered him with hugs and kisses, she wasn't even concerned about his ability not to be able to breathe. Later that night, the couple decided to have a nice date to look for a wedding dress for the upcoming nuptials. The two got a little "frisky" while Adriana was trying on her dress. People had come to listen, but when Adriana exited the dressing room as stunning as she was, no one could taunt and jeer like they had planned. They were all speechless.

Will the couple wed? Who will support them? Can Adriana keep her job, even with her hopes of having a large family? More answers to come!

Okay I lied, I'm seperating the last chapter into 2-3. It's taking me too long to write this so I'm sure there are anxious people waiting for this, which is why I'm going to upload this.
