Fedora's Adventures: Part 9

Fedora's Adventures: Part 9 Fedora went straight to Tyler's house after she said goodbye to Yelena. When she arrived, she was greeted by Tyler's dad, Henry.
"Hello Fedora! What brings you here tonight?" He asked warmly.
"Hello Mr. Lipenchik. I'm here to see Tyler, is he home?" "Of course, He's up in his room, you could go right up!"
"Thank you Mr. Lipenchik!" Fedora said politely Fedora walked up the stairs to Tyler's door. She hesitated, then lightly knocked two times.
"Come in!" Tyler could be heard, muffled through the door. Fedora opened the door and walked inside to see Tyler relaxing on his bed watching the sports channel. As soon as he saw Fedora, Tyler jumped to his feet.
"Hey you!" He said, pulling her into a hug. "How are you?" "I broke up with Kennedy" She blurted out. She then recapped the whole incident at Kennedy's house with Dawn. "I'm sorry I didn't believe you at first! I don't know what I was thinking!" she said with sadness in her voice. "It's alright Fedora, You don't have to apologize to me, I uderstand!" Tyler comforted her. They both climbed onto Tyler's bed and watched a little more of the sports channel as Tyler just let Fedora talk. He listened to her, and he could see that the simple gesture was making her feel better. The two moved downstairs to the game room. The tv down there was bigger and they wanted to watch a movie.
"What do you want to watch?" Tyler asked Fedora.
"How about something funny?!" She suggested
"You got it!" Throughout the whole movie, Tyler couldn't help but steal peeks over at Fedora. He was truly in love with Fedora. He always has been since they were little. He was always too shy to say anything though. He feared that Fedora would not feel the same and she would stop talking to him. This love for her was the reason why the whole thing with Kennedy really upset him as much as it did. Halfway through the movie, Fedora yawned and scooted closer to Tyler. She nestled herself underneathe his arm and snuggled into him. This made Tyler's heart beat four times faster, if not more. Luckily for Tyler, Fedora didn't notice and continued to watch the movie. The movie had ended and Tyler excused himself to go to the bathroom. When he came back a couple minutes later, Fedora was curled up and asleep on the couch. He couldn't help but smile at the sight. He gently woke her up by calling her name softly. "Hey sleepyhead! It's late! Would you like me to walk you home?" He asked
"No thank you! I think I'll be fine by myself! It's only right up the block!" she answered back as she yawned. Fedora rose to her feet. "Thank you Tyler! You've really made me feel better tonight! You are really a great friend!" She grabbed him and squeezed him in one of the biggest hugs he has ever been given. "Whoa there Fedora, great friends need to breathe too!" he panted, a faint hint of sadness could be heard in his voice as he repeated 'great friends'. This comment made Fedora giggle though. After Fedora had left and Tyler watched out the window to make sure she did arrive at her house alright, he went up to his room and got ready for bed. He couldn't fall asleep right away though. All he could think about was Fedora. Sure, she was almost all he could think about most nights, but it was especially bad tonight. He did manage to get to sleep though, with sweet dreams throughout the night. Over at Fedora's house, Fedora was having a similar problem. She didn't know why she couldn't sleep, she was so tired over at Tyler's house! When she managed to get to sleep herself, she had dreams of Tyler. She's had dreams that he was in before, but none like this. This dream was with him exclusively. In the morning she shook it off as no big deal, but it did make her wonder.
