This is the second part to Child of the Night. The first part is in my profile. Well it had been a couple weeks and we decided that it was time to get rid of the new coven. The paper had been showing an alarming number of unusual murders and abductions. Even though we were in the middle of a crisis our normal lives still went on, and I was getting my first crush. Ron was always my favorite when I was younger, so I guess it was only natural for me to get a crush on him. I didn't tell him though, with all that was going on there was enough stress on everyone with out me telling him that. Of course our rooms didn't help either. Apparently our rooms were connected because my was once a nursery, but it didn't help to know he was always a couple steps away. Prudence was also having a hard time. No one really knew the whole story, but nobody ever asked her. We could just assume that somehow she was pregnant before she became a vampire and just started showing, but the whole house was nervous for the birth. We all settled down to talk about our plans. Some people wanted to drive them out of our town and others wanted to fight them. There were also a couple of outlandish ideas, but so far no one could agree. "Why can't we all end this peacefully?" I asked them, "My idea is to find a way to turn them back into humans that way there will be no chance of a fight." "Well that's a great idea Sage, but I don't see how it's a possiblity. Those vampires wouldn't just willingly turn back to human, even if we knew how." "Actually," Grandpa started, "That's not such a bad idea. I have an old friend, a gypsy, whose family use to be able to change vampires. I'll get in touch with her and we'll see where that leads us." We ended the discussion for that night so that grandpa could get in touch with his old friend. "Do you really think that his will work out Ron?" I asked him as we were talking in his room. Most of us got together after the meetings to talk stradegy. "I think that this plan actually has a chance of working," Ron told me, "All of the other plans didn't have a second step, and grandpa is dialing your second step right now." The next night Grandpa met his old friend out front. They went inside to talk about our problem. Grandpa told her all about the murders and how the new vampire coven that moved in was so careless. He told her about my idea of turning them back to humans. "Ah yes," she murmmered," Turning back to human, well I haven't had anyone with this problem in ages, hmmm." "Oh yes I remember the way to get rid of them! It was my Great-Great-Great Aunt that discovered this potion. She was such a ledgend in our old village." "Here," the gypsy whispered, "Get each and every one of them to drink one of these potions. Once they do they will turn back to normal." Even though it was getting extremely early in the morning every one was still talking about how to get the new coven to drink the potion. It was getting boring, and since most of the talk didn't involve me or Ron we started dancing. "That's it!" Prudence shouted jumping up. We were all surprised at her; she moved pretty easily even with her full belly. "A party!," she continued, "A few of us will go over there with a drink maybe wine or something, and slip the potion into their drinks!" It was a brillant idea, so all of us retired to our seperate rooms for the night. Well we weren't really tired, so after getting ready for bed the both of us talked in my room until sunrise. I gave him a quick hug went I felt the sun coming up and told him to sleep well. Then to my surprise he gave me a little kiss as he went in his room. I was glad for my rose colored room. That way he couldn't see me blush. I smiled a little as I went to sleep. This month just got a little better.
