The Witch of Mountain Pass Part 1. Thanks to all the people who made the amazing CC that keeps a story interesting. "Get back in here Peter you always cheat during Marco Polo!"
"Aww come on Haley it's getting cold, let's all get out of the pool"
"Fine"
 "You know I've always wanted to hike around these parts. It seems so amazing with all the trees and hills." "Haley you are so full of great ideas. Why don't we get dressed and we'll head out to this great spot I know. It's great for a camp fire." Melissa was not happy about this. "Ugh hiking all around the gross woods just to sit down on a gross log for a little bit." "I'm going to get changed, see you Vanessa," Peter said with a kiss. "Vanessa wasn't it just great of Peter's parents to let us camp out here for a week, and they even let me bring my little brother. This is going to be so much fun I've always wanted to go fishing but never had the chance." "This is pretty amazing, but so is your hiking outfit. For such an outdoors person you sure don't dress it." Vanessa laughed. "Melissa, you need to stop being so horrible. Why did you even come if you didn't want to?"
"Because," Melissa growled, "Mom didn't trust you or your friends so I had to come keep an eye on my little brother." Well all the kids went through the woods to the camp site and Peter started a warm fire. "So guys what are we suppose to do now?" Peter asked. "Well, we could all roast marshmellows and sing songs." Everyone laughed at Vanessa's suggestion. "I know," said Melissa,"How about a scary story? Does anyone know some?" "Well....I know one," Haley said. "This story is about a witch who lives not too far from here, the witch of Mountain Pass. Fawn Meadow was a parculiar woman; with her always was a cat named Fog. Her and Fog lived on a small little house on Mountain Pass Road. Now Fawn had terrible dreams every night. These dreams were always odd and she could barely remember them. The only part of the dream she could remember was her in a dress and a bat on the outskirts of town. Fawn's breakfast were troubled from the dreams and she always ate alone. We tried to talk to this odd woman but she usually turned us down for conversation or was too distracted. In fact, Fawn rarely talked to people at all. Few can recall a conversation with her and instead it's said that she talked to her cat. One day when fishing Fawn saw a new dog. There were no tags so she kept him for herself and named him Dew. Fawn loved Dew almost as much as she loved Fog. He was surprisingly docile and very affectionate. Dew was also extremely intelligent. Within hours he was learning new tricks and dancing around the house. Although the next day when Fog fianlly met Dew the two were not compatible. Fawn took them to the pet park hoping that the two would work their problems out. Immediately they broke into fighting to the dismay of Fawn. Instead of dealing with her pets Fawn decided to take a soothing hike through the woods. These very woods we are in now. But she lost her way and it began the grow dark. Fawn was uncertain of where she was and started to get nervous. She began to hear odd sounds and started to walk faster. Then Fawn began to run certain that there was someone behind her. She halted when she saw it was just her cat, but Dew started growling and acting like he was defending Fawn. Two nights later Fawn woke up from a noise in the living room. She crept out of bed slowly and went to the door hoping that it was just one of her pets. When she got to the door Fawn was shocked by what she saw. And that's the end of Part One.
