... ... Club-girl: Ooohhh! That outift is so hot on you. Where did you get it?

Raven: Soldier of Fortune: Mercenaries 'R' Us.

Club-girl: No need to be jerk about it; keep it to yourself then.

Raven: I'm serious.

Club-girl: Whatever.

Raven: [Whatever.] Man 1: I'm telling you man, Matt is losing it. He's getting irrational since that chick disappeared.

Man 2: Yeah, he is a bit obsessed. I don't know why. A girl like Heather would make me forget all about Kat. As along as he comes up with the fee, I'll do the tracking. Who cares how crazy he is.

Man 1: So do you think you can track down this kitten...

Man 2: Shhh....
Man 1: Whoa! Nice outfit, baby. It fits you like a glove. I haven't seen you around here before. Man 1: Let me guess. You're the strong, silent type?

Man 2: Leave her alone. I've seen nicer gazes from stone-cold killers--plus she's packing a wicked blade.
Man 1: I think you might be right. Look at the one over there in the white jacket. Hey baby! What's your hurry?
Raven: Nice place. It comes with henchmen. ... ... ... Matt: [Groans] Heather, why don't you take off and go home. I'll meet you later.

Heather: I can wait until you finish your game.
Heather: Let's go back together. Matt: This isn't a debate. I have some business to take care of. I'll meet you later.

Heather: Alright.
Raven: [It looks like Matt has taken a liking to beautiful doormats.] Raven: [This poor guy looks like the lonliest man that has ever lived.] Bar fly: Whoa! Where did you come from? Anyone ever tell you how sexy you look?

Raven: Constantly. I'm getting a little bored with it.

Bar fly: What a coincidence! I was just thinking that you weren't sexy at all. It's more like a mysterious quality. Can I buy you a drink while I figure it out?

Raven: Thank you, but this place is kind of dead. I think I'll use the ladies room then be on my way.

Bar fly: Oh, don't go. I can be quite entertaining. I know some ripping good jokes.

Raven: Wonderful, maybe this weekend sometime.

Bar fly: I'll be here.
Bar-keeper: Would you like to order a drink, Miss?

Raven: No thanks.
Matt: Raven Harris, what are you doing in my neck of the woods? Looking for wolves, or have your brought me what I've been looking for?

Raven: What you're looking for? I don't know what you're talking about.
Matt: Kat took some personal information of mine. I want it back. If you don't have it, why are you here? You look like you're dressed for trouble. Are you bringing me trouble? Raven: This thing? I went to a comic book convention tonight. I put together this costume based on a new heroine: Night Raven. It suits me, don't you think?

Matt: You always were a bit weird, Raven. You also put some weird ideas into the head of that wayward girlfriend of mine. Do you know where she is? I would really like to talk to her.

Raven: Kat is bit paranoid. My apartment was set on fire and now she thinks someone is out to get her.
Matt: Maybe someone is after you instead. You're not exactly the friendliest person. Anyway, I'm getting used to the idea of not having Kat around. All I want are my pages back.

Raven: Pages?

Matt: Enough games. Get me my pages back or tell me how I can reach Kat.

Raven: I'm sorry, but I don't know anything about any pages. Kat doesn't tell me everything.
Matt: It's late and I have to get out of here. I'll be blunt. You two get together, find those pages, or you'll wish you've never heard of me.

Raven: I see.
Raven: This is starting to make sense now.

Matt: Really? Enlighten me then.
Raven: Kat gave me these old pennies to give to you. She wouldn't tell me what they are for, but she said she would call you with a message. Maybe they have something to do with your pages.

Matt: What kind of cryptic nonsense is this?
Raven: I don't know, but I'm beginning to get fed up with the both of you. Why don't you take these pennies and you and she can sort out whatever problems you have and leave me out of it.

Matt: Now that's the Raven I know and despise. You'd be wise to keep your nose out of my business from now on. Give me those.
Raven: You make a good point, Matt. Nice knowing you.

Matt: It's been a pleasure.
Raven: [Happy trails to you.] ... ... Matt: I'm going to end this mess once and for all. ... ... Matt: If I don't get those journal pages, I'll kill them. Hell, I'll kill them both anyway. Matt: Nobody leaves me. I say when someone... Matt: Nobody leaves me. I say when someone... Whoa! Its actually works--no fuss, no muss. Well well, Matt, If Go-Go is correct, you are now behind an invisible barrier. By dawn, you will no longer have the pleasure of walking among us mortals. I had this whole speech where I was going to lecture you about your evil ways, but now, who cares? I'll leave you to think on your fate. Knowing you, you'll probably spend it kicking yourself for not killing me the first time. Lah-da-dee, lah-da-dah. Raven: You! I've been looking for you. Xara: You weren't meant to find me until now. Come, sit. Raven: So you know what I have done?

Xara: Yes. I wanted it as much as you did.

Raven: What? Why? Somehow I thought you would be against something like this.

Xara: A wrong had to be righted, a balance restored.
Xara: Matt came to me once requesting a match. His heart was filled with ill aspirations and I had no matches for him, save one. A beautiful girl with a beautiful spirit, I thought she would be perfect to change Matt.

I was wrong. He fed on her purity and kindness like a starving beast. First he crushed her spirit, then he crushed her body. He got away with the crime for lack of evidence. That was my first matchmaking. It made me quit making matches. La Shawn Despret brought me back with her teachings.
Raven: So what you said in the art gallery was just to get me to expose Matt to the four-penny curse.

Xara: I sensed your happiness from seeing your brother and making new friends. You needed a nudge back to your dark place to survive Matt. Otherwise, you would have been dead by the week's end. Kat would have soon followed you.

Raven: I don't doubt that.

Xara: You and your friends now have a new problem.

Raven What now?

Xara: The power of those four coins were created from a relic of the dark ages. Such devices have been destroyed, removed or divested of their power, but some remain. You may have used the coins with good reason, but such power will corrupt reason. They have to be destroyed.

Raven: I can't do that. I promised that I would return them.

Xara: Then your friends must destroy them. Was there another object associated with the coins?
Raven: Uh...I don't think so... Well, they were in a picture frame. The frame contained a painting with a wicked looking dragon on it.

Xara: That's the detection ward. The coins cannot be located by supernatural means while that painting exists. It has to be destroyed. The rest will take care of itself.

Raven: O.k. I'll pass that along.
Xara: It's late. I'm sure you are exausted.

Raven: It's hitting me now and I need a few hours sleep. I'll return just before dawn to retrieve the coins. Can I give you a ride Xara?

Xara: I would like that. Matchmakers do a lot of walking. I plan to change that; I'm saving up for a car, something affordable with some utility, a Smoogo perhaps.
Xara: So how good are you at getting into places that want to keep you out?

Raven: Pretty Good. Why?

Xara: Dominic Gothika needs a favor, and I need to borrow an antiquities collector's dagger to grant it. The collector is a very selfish man.

Raven: Sure, anything for Dominic. What is the dagger for?

Xara: To free Dominic from his curse. We will aquire it two weeks from now.
... ... Jo-Jo: Flowers? Pretty! Go-Go: So Mike wants to go out with you on a date? Fantastic!

Jo-Jo: This time I'm sure it's really from Mike. He put his number on the card. Uh, Go-Go...

Go-Go: Yeah?

Jo-Jo: How do you really feel about Raven's night visit?
Raven: There you are little guy--back where you belong. Co-Co: You aren't planning on "borrowing" our garden gnome too, are you?

Raven: Huh?
Raven: Hi Co-Co! Uh...no. He's just so cute. I had to get a closer look at him. Co-Co: He is cute, isn't he? I've been considering moving him. That location may tempt garden gnomenappers.

Raven: I think that would be wise.

Co-Co: So how did it go last night?
Go-Go: She really should have asked me, but being in the same situation, I understand. I can forgive her. Co-Co seems fine with it.

Jo-Jo: Well she's making it difficult for me to accept her with these stunts. When does it end? She has to control that vigilante attitude of hers.

Go-Go: Actually, she reminds me of you.
Jo-Jo: Really?

Go-Go: God help the person who has both of you as an enemy.

Jo-Jo: [Laughs]
Co-Co: He sounds like a serial killer. To keep journals probably meant that he wanted to relive his exploits or improve his "craft". I don't think I'll have a guilt trip over that guy. So did you get the four pennies back?

Raven: Yes I did, and I need to talk to you and the other girls about them.

Co-Co: I'll round them up. Have you eaten yet?

... Co-Co: So how is Kat doing?

Raven: Kat?
Kat: So where are we going next, Henri?

Henri: After déjeuner, I think we shall go to the top of the Eiffel tower.

Kat: Ooh, that looks so high.

Henri: You will have an excellent view of Paris, yes?
Raven: Kat Is doing just fine. I'll let her tell you her European adventures when she returns.

Go-Go: Good. I'd love to hear them. So what's this about you not having a place to stay?

Raven: I'm being evicted. The owner didn't take kindly to the damage done by the arsonist. They think I'm a risk to the other residents and property. It isn't fair. What are my rights? I...

Go-Go: You're moving in with us.
Jo-Jo: Of course she is.

Raven: That's very generous of you. I accept.

Go-Go: Great! The next order of business: the four pennies.

Co-Co: Their your family heirlooms, Go-Go. It's up to you.
Go-Go: The collection is beautiful in it's own way. It's a shame to destroy it, but yes they are dangerous.

Jo-Jo: You must admit those coins are useful for getting rid of dangerous people--[cough] Raven.

Raven: Ha, Ha! Yeah, but watch out when you start using them on inconvient people, annoying people, or people that get in the way of your goals. That's the danger--power corrupts
Co-Co: If you want my two cents,...there's a pun for you...I would destroy the dragon detection-ward.

Go-Go: Let me think on it a moment.

Jo-Jo: So what are we going to call her?

Co-Co: Call who?

Jo-Jo: Raven. We can't have Jo-Jo, Go-Go, Co-Co, and Raven. It sounds odd.
Raven I guess I would feel left out.

Go-Go: Lo-Lo, Mo-Mo, To-To?

Jo-Jo: [Giggles] To-To? Woof! How about...Zo-Zo? Ho-Ho, Yo-Yo?

Raven. I am not going to be a Yo-Yo.

Co-Co: No-No, Do-Do, So-So? Wow, I think we have the only good ones already.
Go-Go: Let's go back to our real names.

Jo-Jo: I'm for that. I'm starting to miss Josie. We'll start when Raven moves in.

Go-Go: I know what I'm going to do now. I'll scan the painting into the computer and make a reprint for the picture frame. At least I can have a copy of it. We can burn the dragon ward in the grill and place the pennies on the table for whatever is going to happen to them.

Co-Co: Let's do it.
Go-Go: Defiant little bugger, isn't he? Go-Go: So what happens now?

Co-Co: I think you better look behind you.
Raven: Kind of sneaks up on you. Creepy.

Go-Go: Yeah. This is what you missed last time, Jo-Jo. Jo-Jo?

Jo-Jo: I can't move.

Co-Co: Spooky things freak her out, Raven.

Raven: I know. We saw her freak out at Gothika.
Co-Co: My hot dog!

Jo-Jo: Only the coins are burning--uh, melting.

Raven: Thus ends the four-penny curse.
... Grim Reaper: Amy Li.

Go-Go: Uh.........yeah?

Grim Reaper: Thank you.

Go-Go: Oh, you're welcome. Hey! While you're here, could you do me a favor?

Grim Reaper: I DON'T DO REQUESTSSSSS!

Go-Go: Huh? Oh no, that's not what I meant. I don't want you to kill anyone. This is pretty simple.

Grim Reaper: Say cheese.

Go-Go/ Co-Co/ Jo-Jo/ Raven: Cheese!

    The End. \:wub\:

I really enjoyed this series and I especially enjoyed the journey with my characters. As of this moment I'm playing their back-story out at Academie Le Tour. I aged the girls back to teens, gave them parents, and played them up to Young Adults. They are now experiencing their first day on campus. I gave them personalites to match their characters from the story. \:\)

I think this is going to be a really fun round of University. Raven isn't a part of this since she met them after University. I will introduce her after the girls have graduated and are living in the house you see here. \:rah\: Fun stuff.

At the time, I was considering a spin-off with Raven and Xara setting things right in the Supernatural world. Dominic Gothika was going to be the first. Actually, that still sounds pretty good.

I have a new series in the works (The Four From Le Tour), but it doesn't feature Co-Co, Jo-Jo, or Go-Go. Raven will have a cameo role and a little something about Dominic should be revealed. I'll premiere the story at TSR. \:D

Actually, "The Four-Penny Curse" is one of my older stories. (I only have 2 series.) \:D But it's buried in my simpage and never gets read. I wanted to try the TSR story format. I think it's great!! I really like the big image._____I do have another series that is 6 parts total. I have one left to write. The theme is "beauty". If you girls and guys are interested, I'll put it up.----It's odd because it starts off as my visual blog--covering the homes I was working on, but I got the idea for a story and it took off from there. \;\)

Awesome!! I am truely amazed at your work, i have only done a few stories myself and i know how hard it is. if you could tell me how you make your coverpages, i would appreciate it, mine are boring next to yours, hehehe

I used Photoshop to simulate the Dragon ward painting burning in the grill. I used the selection tool to copy a patch of the painting. I used the burn tool to darken the edges, and I used the transform function to make it look like it was in perspective. I found the fire on Google images and used Photoshop to trim the shape and make it semi-transparent. It was worth the effort.---------
I downloaded a Grim Reaper from the Sims 2 exchange. He doesn't have that black smoke cloud, so I had to create it in Photoshop. I had him used the career reward camera to take the picture. He also doesn't have a scythe so I copied one from a picture of the real Reaper and placed it by the wall. A lot of work for one shot, but worth it.---------
I'm going to upload another series (The Makeover of Malina) , for the people who want to see more my stories. It's shorter, but I should have my newest series started by the time Malina series is over. Look for an Orange Cover titled "My Visual Blog: The Makeover of Malina". The first episode will be the introduction. The story truly starts with the second album.
