Finally, the conclusion... Sorry it took so long.

Meanwhile, back at the pixie mound, Ean stewed and schemed over how he would bring back his queen, Faerie. It would be no small task but he did have an idea.
First things first, Ean shaved his head bald, donned a pair of glasses and folded his wings back. He had to find Faerie first and he didn't want to alarm her by allowing her to recognize him immediately on sight. His next task was to seduce a cohort. "My dear, Daisy Greenman! Why I haven't seen you since you were plantbaby!"
"I came as soon as I could Ean. My mother told me you had a job for me and since I've just reached adulthood, you know I'm in the market for one," she replied.
"Yes, of course. You are quite to the point, just like your mother. In fact, she may have gossiped to you the rumor that my queen, Faerie, has gone missing. I must find her. I can get you a job at Riverblossoms Elementary school. You will recognize Jason's children and then I will be able to bring her home."
"Wait a minute!" Daisy exclaimed. "Is she missing or is she hiding from you?! There's no way I'm going to help force Faerie to be your wife!"
"You say this after all Faerie has done to you? Do you not remember how Faerie stole Jason away when he was the only father you knew? How deeply saddened your mother was to have to raise you alone? Being forced to beg for assistance? Being stashed away in agarage apartment? This is an opportunity to stop Faerie from running away from her responsibilities. We must make her accountable," he monologued.
"Daisy, I would not be coming to you for help if I did not believe that you were the right woman for the job," he schmoozed.
"You're right," agreed Daisy. "She must be held... accountable."
He hugged Daisy. She was so easy he didn't even need to bed her first. As soon as she left, he ran inside to set the next plan into motion. It was time resurrect his cohort. "My love, Daisy, you've come back to me," he schmoozed with nervousness in his voice.
"Was I... dead... my king?" she groaned.
"Indeed, my love, but I have brought you back to me and we have a mission."
"Your will is my command, my king."
Ean tapped his fingers together. "Queen Faerie has run from pixie again.
We must find her an ensure that she never leaves of her own will again," he explained.
"Your will is my command, my king..." Daisy started towards him. "But as your... subject... we must kiss on the deal."
"Wha...?!" he exclaimed.
Falling to the floor Ean nervously said as he slowly rised, "Why should we have to kiss? You are my pixie and I am your king." "I am no longer pixie, my king, but a zombie. Your will is my command but it does not come without a price. Am I so horrid that you have lost your love for me? The child I carry, even now, is yours. Do not forget that!" She warned.
"No, no... of course not, my...love.... I simply did not realize..."
"Then let us set this plan into motion, King Ean! We will find Faerie and then I will be queen!"
"Wha?!" he began to exclaim before Daisy wrapped her arms around him and kissed him deeply.

Faerie woke up in the middle of the night with a sick feeling in her gut. The nightmare that she had before waking had left her anxious doused in sweat. After a quick shower, Faerie reflected on how well her life had been since she left pixie for the second time. Valon had grown into a precious toddler. She looks a lot like Ean which worried her but it would be a while before she began school. Zavin and the twins also had birthdays and began elementary school. They were very good about staying on top of their homework even though Faerie worked a lot and could not always be there to make sure they got it done. Zavin once told her, "Mommy, I can't wait to grow up and go to work so you can stay home." The twins were also doing extremely well in school. Xamina runs home with an A+ report card nearly everyday. I was surprised one Saturday morning when Zavin ran to me and told me his teacher was at the door. I found that his teacher was none other than Daisy Greenman. I hadn't seen her in years. "Hello ma'am. I'm concerned about Zavin. It seems his grades are dropping. Has anything happened recently to cause such a change in behavior?" she lied. "Well, no. He does his homework everyday. I don't understand how this could happen. I'll have to talk to him," said Faerie in bafflement.
"Of course, then I'll be on my way," she said just before she left. Faerie ran inside to talk to Zavin about why his grades at school were dropping.
But outside, Ean and his zombie Daisy had appeared.
"Are you sure this is it, my king?"
"Yes, I'm sure of it. Why else do you think we were following Daisy Greenman?"
Zombie Daisy crept up to the house and peeked inside. Unfortunately since she was half dead, she poked her head right through the door without realizing it. Faerie, upon hearing the noise, came to the entry way to investigate and was frightened by what she found.
"But...but... you're... dead!?" she exclaimed.
Daisy grabbed Faerie's hand and sent a jolt of electricity through her. "Not anymore, my queen. Mwuhahaha!"
Daisy screamed.
"I told you I'd find you," shouted Ean over Faerie's cries. Faerie jumped at the sight of the disguised Ean.
"Ean?!"
"I've come to retrieve my queen," he smirked as he said it.
"Nooo! You must leave at once!" cried Faerie as she ran to the other side of the room. Ean followed her.
"No! It's time!" He turned to Daisy and said, "Call him. NOW!"
"Your will is my command, my king," Daisy replied as she stretched to summon her undead master. Ean buckled to his knees. "What is this?" he cried. "Why am I so hungry all of a sudden?" Daisy smirked. "Now you know how I felt when I died, my king." Daisy turned to Faerie.
"And it's your turn now, my queen," she sneered.
"Mama, no!!" cried Zavin as he ran out of hiding. Faerie ran to Zavin as Daisy jumped in terror.
"No!!!" Daisy cried.
"Someone much higher than I commanded your soul, Daisy," explained the reaper before he left. "It's okay Zavin," comforted Faerie.
"Mama, I was scared," he said hugging Faerie.
"We're all right," Faerie said. "But where are your sisters?"
"Upstairs... except Valon," he hesitated. "I saw Valon outside which is why I came downstairs to get her and then I saw King Ean and... I'm sorry Mama."
"It's okay Zavin," she soothed. "You did okay."
Faerie looked out the window to see Valon playing in the snow as yet another zombie approached. This time it was King Pix. Faerie ran outside but King Pix reached Valon first. How many graves did he raise, she thought. King Pix put Valon down and approached Faerie.
"I'm sorry to come here in this... form," he said.
"Are you here for me too?" She said angrily.
"Of course not, my dear," he chuckled. "I am here from a much higher power. Many do not know but pixie is not a patriarchy."
"What are you talking about?" She said, exasperated.
"Pixie lands are led by the females," he explained. "That is why I am here. To protect you. My son, driven by power and greed, twisted that truth. We had no daughters, so, in reality, his only responsibility was to choose the queen who would rule. The responsibility of ruling was actually yours."
With that said, a bright light flashed. Faerie held her hands up to protect her eyes... ...but she was pushed backwards and fell into the snow. She pulled herself back up through the snow. He was gone but it occurred to Faerie that perhaps King Pix was not a zombie at all... ...and she was indeed the queen of pixie.
