Day 1: I was once one of the rich and famous. That is, until I left my husband. He was a lying, cheating, son of a sim... and I had an affair. Everything after that is history.
Day 2: I live in a trailer park. I knew I shouldn't have signed that prenup but here I am anyway. It's hard to go from beautiful, expensive things to shambles in redneck simville. Maybe my house will roll away one day with me it... Day 3: I work at Simbucks Coffee shop. It's money but it's hardly enough to pay the rent and utilities. Seeing as how all I can think about is money, I've decided that I have one of two options to get myself out of the trailer park: acheive my life long dream of being a criminal mastermind or marry a rich sim (and make sure there's no prenup this time). Day 4: I scour the newspaper looking for "jobs" everyday but I can't find one that seems dirty or mischievious enough. It occurred to me to actually read the news instead of the classifieds and find some names so I could become friends with someone on the inside. Of course, that means that I can't quit my job at the coffee shop just yet. Day 5: Barbara, one of my regulars and a good friend of mine, came to see my "new" trailer today after work. She didn't exactly tell me how much my life sucked but she did offer me a job under her as a field researcher. I took it since it paid better than the coffee shop but I decided not to tell her about my "evil" dream to become a criminal. Hmm... speaking of evil, I bet that old witch could get me some connections. Day 6: Barbara's job helps. I was able to pay my utility bills at least and buy some new clothes, but it wasn't nearly enough to start looking for a real apartment. Maybe one day... Day 7: I quit Barbara's job and finally got my first "job" as a bagman. I don't know who the "boss" was but he wanted me to steal his lawn gnome back from another boss. Apparently both bosses believed it was theirs so they kept stealing it from each other. It was dangerous but I knew I could do it. I managed to steal the gnome unnoticed but I ran into some hot trouble when I took it to the drop off point at the Belladonna Library. Officer Cleveland was taking a break from his patrol and the library had the only coffee shop that was open at this hour. I played off my guilt by flirting up a storm with Officer Hottie... err... Cleveland. But it wasn't long before a voice crackled over his radio requesting backup regarding a stolen lawn gnome from a known mobster's yard. He ran out in a hurry but I could tell he would remember me well. Day 8: I decided to head by the museum today to meet my idol, the Unsavory Charlatan. Alas, he never came around but I did see this statue of him. While I was there, Pheobe, the infalliably good witch, showed up. I talked to her a bit and I silently vowed to get her to teach me to become a witch. Even if she taught me the ways of the light, I could teach myself the ways of darkness. Mwa ha ha. While I was there, Vanessa Royce showed up to tell my that the "boss" was her cousin!! On top of that, he had noticed my mischeiviously good work and was going to promote me! I couldn't have had a better day! Day 9: Phoebe cam over so she could teach me the ways of the light. It was an incredible feeling. I almost felt bad that I was going to have to betray her by learning the ways of the darkness. I immediately tested out my wand by trying to make some lug fall in love with me but it backfired and instead made me repulsed by him. Oh well. Phoebe gave me a cauldron and a spellbook so I could practice my "arts" so I said good bye and ran inside. Day 10: The spellbook is old and dingy but it has everyhing I can imagine in it. It's going to take a while for me to learn the dark arts. On the other hand, I need to move to a bigger apartment so I can fit my cauldron in it and start mixing some reagents. Day 11: I have been to every apartment complex in Belladonna Cove and still can't find one cheap and yet spacious enough to afford. Finally, I came upon this one. The landlord was looking for someone to move in quick and offered me a deal: 2 BR 2BATH 2LEVEL for 2000 simoleons a month. Day 12: I finally got an apartment. The landlord is kind of handsome in a older man about to be an elder sort of way. Maybe I'll break a lot of stuff so we can get to know each other better. Day 13: Guess who lives next door to me? Officer Hottie! I was looking at the view from my patio when I noticed Officer Hottie leaving the apartment across from mine. I would definately be stopping by in a little while to say hello to the new neighbor. Day 14: What a mess. I set my kitchen on fire today. Apparently there was something wrong with the starter on my stove because it nearly burned the complex down when I tried to make chili. That is not how I planned to get the landlord to come over. Day 15: I walked next door and to say hello to Officer Hottie but he seems to be married. Bummer... Although, he did seem especially happy to see me. Day 16: Officer Hottie came over tonight. He said he thought he had seen a burgular enter my apartment. He checked everything out in the apartment, including the closet. Actually, we both checked out the closet intimately. heh.... Day 17: It occured to me today that maybe the burgular that Officer Hottie saw was me coming home from work. Oh well. I just have to be sneakier when I come and go to work. Day 18: I've been sick lately. I got to work on my cauldron to see if I could brew some anti-flu medicine. I didn't make any medicine but I did learn a few new spells. Day 19: I felt better today so I decided to pay the evil witch a visit. She lives in a pretty ominous castle. Warning: do not fall off your broom arriving here! She didn't help me too much with learning any new evil spells but she did brew me something for my nausea. Maybe she's not as evil as everyone thinks. Day 20: Turns out my nausea is pregnancy. I went next door to tell Jason (Officer Hottie) but his wife was there. Since she was there, I didn't plan on explaining my baby bump but then he kissed her and I let it all out of the bag. We're still BFF but I'm furious at him right now. Day 21: I never wanted to be pregnant, not even with my ex. I talked to Jason today and he said he's not leaving Marisa to be with me and the baby. Apparently, he and Marisa have a teenage son together and he doesn't want his son to know what kind of a dog his father is. I can't wait to learn some more evil spells. Maybe I'll turn Brian into the dog that he is. Day 22: Abby was born today. She's beautiful. It's too bad that Jason doesn't want anything to do with her. I hope we won't have to move back to the trailer park. No child deserves to grow up there. Day 23: Stove acted up again. I'm seriously going to be mad if the landlord doesn't fix this soon. Maybe I need to move again? Day 24: Abby became a toddler today! I haven't talked to her father since she was born. It's a shame she'll never know her father is the policeman across the street. On the otherhand, the grew up into a beautiful little girl. She looks just like him. I wonder if she'll figure it out on her own. Day 25: I found Abby crawled up in the corner with her teddy bear today. It was so cute! She was crying and she asked me, "Mommy? Where is TB's (her teddy bear's name) mommy? TB needs a mommy too!" My little girl is growing up. Day 26: Abby had another birthday! I was a little sad again that her father wasn't here to see her grow up again but I couldn't force him to get involved. She seemed a little sad when she grew up too. She still looks just like Jason. Day 27: I met this crazy lady today when I paid my rent. She told me she had lots of friends in the criminal career and that she was spreading nasty rumors about me so I wouldn't suceed. That might explain why I haven't gotten a promotion recently. Day 28: Abby got her first A today! She was so excited. Maybe I need to put her in private school? Day 29: Today is my birthday. I lost all of my hair as soon as I grew up. It's a shame. I'll have to get a wig. ::sigh:: On top of that, I never became a criminal mastermind or married a rich sim. I guess this is the epitome of my life.
