After Jason and I broke up, I ran over to the house Ean was staying at. I don't know what I wanted from him... I guess to be consoled.

After Jason and I broke up, I ran over to the house Ean was staying at. I don't know what I wanted from him... I guess to be consoled. He hugged me as soon as he saw me.
"I knew you would come!" he exclaimed. He brought me into a makeshift throne room where King Faeron and Queen Marion were.
"It is now time for the next generation of pixies to rule," said King Faeron. "Our home began to die when you left, Faerie," said Queen Marion.
I was surprised but I let her continue. "That is how we knew that you would be our next queen. Now, you must decide to return the pixie mound or teach the pixies to live in this world." Then, Ean turned to me.
"Help me save our pixies. Will you be my queen, Faerie?" "Yes!" I exclaimed. I couldn't let my friends in the pixie mound die. I had no idea what repercussions had come to fall when I left. We knew the King and Queen would not last much longer, so we quickly tied the knot. We met Death at the doorstep. He had already come for King Faeron. Queen Marion was heartbroken. You see, pixies live a long time in the pixie mound, so she had been with King Faeron for ages. Also, pixie women die with their husbands too. So, it was only a matter of time before Death greeted her. We built a little graveyard for the King and Queen. Ean and I wept and wept....but even in my grief, I couldn't help to think that I was a queen now.
