Lara dove in the pool of water that was in the middle of the room. She had to find the object that fits into the pillar to hopefully unlock the door, and the water seemed the only option to go. It was thankfully the right option too.
At the bottom of the cool, pool of water was a small hole that Lara could just fit through. Swimming through another tunnel she eventually made it up to the surface. Lifting herself out of the water soaking wet, she found herself in a room.
Lara inspected the object on the platform and it looked like a candle. It looked to be the right shape to fit in the pillar. She picked it up and blew out the flame, making sure there was no dripping wax Lara placed it into her backpack and starting heading back.
As she got out of the water on the other side, she pulled out the object she had just uncovered. Twisting it a bit, she managed to make it fit in the pillar, and light the candle. Once it was lit she heard a rumbling behind her as the door magically opened.
She walked through them and up the large flight of stairs.
Residing in the middle of the room she entered, floating in the air was the Scion.
The last piece, this was it. Her fingers gently wrapped around it, and she took it in her hand. Immediately the walls started crumbling, and huge slabs of rock were falling.
Lara looked to her right as a stone door opened by itself. She had no choice, it was the only way she could go. She dove at it and made it through just in time.
After a low slide down, Lara found herself outside in the fresh air. Not exactly where she left her motorcycle but fairly close.
Still holding the third piece of the Scion in her hand, she reached into her backpack and pulled out the other two. Lara hesitated for a moment, then attached the last piece to the other two and twisted it.
She was once again transported to the place she had been before, when she put the first two pieces together. She listened to the conversation between the three Atlantic rulers continue.
"But it is my face you will see in your nightmares" Qualopec stated.
"What have you to say for yourself?" asked Tihocan.
"The Gods favour action, not council" replied the Queen of Atlantis, in a malicious tone.
"Yet it is this council that rules over you today"
"You rule over nothing! Atlantis is in ruin; nothing can change that. Everything must burn. Only then, can The Seventh Age begin." said the Queen.
"You choose a path to madness. I wash my hands of you" said the Queen's brother Qualopec.
"For your treachery;" Tihocan said "for using the knowledge of the Scion, I expel you forever from the sacred order of The Three, and condemn you to shame, in the frozen limbo of eternity."
Lara walked around to get a better look at the Queen, she was shocked when the Queen lifted her head and Lara recognized her.
"It cannot be stopped! The wheels of Kathar are already in motion!" the Queen ranted "Doom will find you both while I rise from the dust of your bones to finish what I've started!!!" she yelled, then in an instant she was gone, banished forever from Atlantis into all of eternity.
Lara was thrown back into reality with the Scion being taken from her hands. It was Natla. Lara tried to get it back but her arms were being held by Larson, one of Natla's three henchmen and she was unable to move.
"It was you" Lara said "You were the Queen of Atlantis"
"Once." Natla replied not turning around.
Lara thought for a second "and the Scion holds its history"
"It holds far more than that" Natla replied. "All of the knowledge of the Ancients; things none of you could even comprehend"
"What is the Seventh Age?" Lara asked.
"How far are you willing to go to find out?" Natla asked looking into Lara's eyes "Not far enough I'm afraid. Tie her up and don't let her escape, I have work to do." With that Natla left.
Lara stamped on Larson's foot, followed by a sharp uppercut to his jaw.
He tried to grab her as she kicked him backwards. With the two other henchmen advancing on her and Larson recovering far too quickly, Lara knew she couldn't take them all on. She needed an escape plan, preferably one that would allow her to follow Natla.
Then she thought of it, and took a deep breath, all of which happened in the space of a millisecond and lept off the edge of the cliff into the sparkling water below. The wind rushed in her face as she flew towards the clear, blue salt water. Her heart was pounding but she knew she'd escaped.
