When a slightly sunburnt Lilly got back to Riverdale Paige gave her a huge hug. She'd missed her mother and Lilly had missed her daughter. Lilly told Paige all about the amazing time she had the places she visited. Paige could see that Lilly had a new zest for life. She was happy to see that her mother wasn't depressed like she had been when she went away. It was only then that Paige noticed that Dallas wasn't with her. Paige asked Lilly about Dallas and Lilly explained what had happened. Paige threw her arms up in the air in excitment. She was glad that Lilly had come to her senses and ditched Dallas, even if he was her father. She knew Dallas was no good for Lilly. Preston however was extremely angry. Dallas had told him to move back to Lilly's house because when he'd married Lilly she'd be staying there. Now they'd split up after only a few hours of marrige and Preston had to stay here. He ranted about the amazing life he'd have to give up as Lilly wouldn't put up with Preston bringing lots of girls back here. Lilly wasn't taking this spolied brat behavour anymore. She was an elderly woman and her children were adults. She told Dallas that if he wasn't happy then he could move out for good and Lilly wouldn't take him back. Preston had no choice but to apologise to Lilly. He knew that he couldn't go back to Dallas's house as Dallas wouldn't let him move back and he had nowhere else to go. He couldn't afford a place of his own in Riverdale, they were way to expensive. Dallas came over to Lilly's house that evening. He started demanding money for the honeymoon that Lilly had stayed on after Dallas left. Lilly's new 'can-do' attitude wasn't going to let someone as low as Dallas push her around. She couldn't care less what Dallas wanted. He wasn't getting a simoleon out of her. He'd already taken the best years of her life. He wasn't getting anything else. She eventually got bored of his moaning and groaning and shoved him away from her in disgust. This time Dallas was in the one in tears. She'd felt a new sense of pride... stronger somehow and Dallas left without another word. Sadly the following evening Lilly passed away. Both Preston and Paige were devestated. Lilly had just learned to start loving life and it had been taken away from her. Even a few days after the funeral Paige can't help but visit the grave of her mother, even in the middle of the night, just to sob. Dallas didn't even seem to care that the mother of his children had died. It only made Paige hate him more. Preston just wished that he'd treated his mother with a bit more respect while she'd been alive. He'd been so ungreatful at times. Especially when he left her alone after Paige had run away. He felt so guilty. They both did. A few days later, completely out of nowhere, Preston claimed he felt ill. Within minutes he had dropped to the floor and died (this was a shock for me too, but I thought I'd throw it in). Paige was horrified. She couldn't lose her mother and her twin brother in such a small space of time. It was too much greif for her. The day after Preston's funeral Stephen turned up. He came to apologise for not being there... but when he told Paige why she understood completely. Stephen had burried his mother Clover the same day. It seemed that everyone Paige had ever cared about was dying. Stephen explained that recently he'd been attending alot of funerals. Only weeks before Crystal and Mandy had been burried after a car crash and Amber had also died from an infection after a face lift. He seemed to think that the deaths of all of Clover's old friends and then Lilly had made her give up on life. Paige couldn't help but cry. She'd cared alot about Clover. She'd been like a second mother to her growing up. It was a horrible feeling to have so many people away in such a short space of time. Paige offered Stephen to stay with her for a few days. He was her half brother after all and it seemed like Stephen needed someone to be around, just like she did. Even with company all Paige could do with cry while Stephen sat there in a strange mouring silence. They weren't exactly much comfort to each other. Stephen did mention he was planning on leaving Riverdale as it held to many bad memories. As Paige lay on Lilly's bed she thought about what Stephen had said about moving. She could leave Riverdale and start a life somewhere new where she wouldn't have to worry about Dallas. She had no-one else keeping her around. Paige couldn't make up her mind but would moving mean forgetting the pain or would it make it worse?

Do you think I should continue Paige's life in Riverdale or move her away forever and start a new story with another family? I'd quite like to carry on with Paige, but if you're getting bored with the family then I won't.

I really enjoyed this story and I hope you continue with Paige. I'm sure if she's anything like her mom, she'll be getting into some troubles herself. \;\)
