Welcome to the fourth part of The Chronicles of the Carr Family. If you haven't read parts 1-3, now would be a good time to do so. As you remember, we ended our story with Tina asking Trevor to move out. After a bit of searching, Trevor found this one bedroom home to live in. Will they be able to repair their marriage? Let's find out... Since Trevor hoped the split was temporary, he found a small one bedroom home for under $20,000. It would only be him for a while, so he didn't really need anything fancy. They had agreed that Tina would keep all of the kids. Even though Evan was completely his, Trevor felt that Tina had been more of a parent to him. Trevor had only begun being his dad in the past couple of months.

With a lot of time on his hands, he was working on improving his skill at painting and attempting to repair his marriage.

{This home can be found on the exchange. It's around $17,000 and comes completely furnished as seen above. You can add the cheapest car ($950) after moving in and your Sim is all ready to begin their life!}
Trevor found himself with too much time on his hands. He had been given leave from work (and had willingly took it) and couldn't really go out anywhere - he was a pregnant guy after all and would probably receive odd looks.

He spent most of his time relaxing and reading. At least the time that wasn't spent dealing with his pregnancies. He had to get Tina and his family back - that's all there was to it.
Tina found herself with a lot of excess time as well. She considered getting a part-time job since the kids were in school most the day but she just couldn't bring herself to do it. Finding a job would be admitting to herself that her marriage to Trevor might actually be over. No, she couldn't do that - not yet.

She was spending a lot of time debating whether or not she made the correct decision. Wasn't she supposed to be there for him through thick and thin? But then again, wasn't he supposed to be honest with her?
Trevor finally got up the nerve one day to invite Tina over for lunch. He figured that she was probably as lonely as he was since the kids were in school now. He fixed them salads and they ate a friendly lunch. The lunch was turning out far better than Trevor or Tina's exprectations. They were laughing and enjoying each other's company. It almost seemed as though they were teenagers again in love for the first time. Could the spark still be there? Trevor made a bold move after dinner.
"Tina, can I have this dance?" he asked, holding his hand out.
"But Trevor - there's no music," She replied, taking his hand.
"We'll make our own," he said, sweeping her across the room and gently pulling her closer. He hummed Tina's favorite song while they swayed back and forth.
"Oh Trevor..." Tina sighed, laying her head on Trevor's shoulder.
A couple of months later, Trevor decided to take a walk. To his suprise, he ended up outside of his home (well, the one he used to live in with his family). He laid down on the front lawn and imagined what could be. He could see his family inside - Tina reading to the youngest too and Todd watching closely. They seemed to be almost happy without him there. Maybe there was no place for him there anymore... That night, he came by the house and broke down when Tina answered the door. He got down on one knee and asked her to take him back.
"Trevor..." Tina began and his heart leaped with hope. "I just don't know yet."
He turned and walked the two blocks home, holding his head in shame. What could he do?
Tina had to entertain the headmaster of Todd's school in order to get Adele and Evan into Meadowbrook Academy. She just didn't feel that Evan was being accepted at school. Many of the kids just didn't understand why he looked different than them. Todd had pointed out that this wasn't going to change but Tina hoped that it could improve. The dinner went well and the headmaster told Tina that the kids were a shoo-in. To celebrate, Tina had the kids get ready for bed and then began jumping on the couch. She nodded to Todd to follow suit and soon all four of them were jumping on the couch having the time of their lives. After about a half hour of this, they all headed to bed. All three of the kids dressed in their uniforms and headed to Meadowbrook Academy in the morning. It was quite a sight - all three kids growing up so quick. As Tina watched the kids leave, she realized that someday this big house would be quite lonesome. Todd would be going to college soon and Evan and Adele would be in high school in no time and then they would go to college....and who would Tina have? Tina went back into the house and started cleaning up. She hadn't gotten much done before she heard the doorbell ring. She went onto the porch to find Trevor kneeling (once again) in front of her. He was holding something behind his back. "Tina, will you marry me again?" Trevor asked before Tina could even say 'hi' and holding a ring out.
"Trevor!" She exclaimed, covering the joy on her face. There was no way she was going to be able to tell her husband no after this romantic endeavor. "I will."
"You will?" he asked, suprised, as she took the ring and put it on her finger. Then she leaped at him and gave him a kiss.
"I will."
After a few minutes of smooching, Tina pulled away and looked at his very large stomach.
"How far along are you?" she asked, as she rubbed it.
"Seven and a half months." he replied, watching his wife.
"So we should have this wedding soon then..." she said looking at him.
"If that's what you want." Trevor replied. It had been so long since Tina had heard those words.
"It is."
Trevor and Tina decided that having a small backyard wedding would be most practical since they were choosing to get married so quickly. They set up a small area in their side yard with a reception area in the backyard. As Tina stared in the mirror at her wedding look, she wondered how she got to this point in her life. Just a few months ago, she had thought her marriage to Trevor was over. Now, they were getting remarried. Trevor couldn't believe it. This had to be one of the happiest days of his life (next to their first wedding and the birth of his kids). He still couldn't believe that Tina had taken him back and was willing to marry him again. That must be love. He decided to shave his beard off for the wedding, making him resemble the way he looked the first time they got married. The ceremony was small and simple. Trevor and Tina exchanged vows - the same ones they said at their first wedding (with a few adjustments). The attendance was low, but then again Trevor and Tina didn't invite many guests. Having an alien kid does not make one popular in the neighborhood. The happy couple exchanging vows.

{Sorry - there's a lot of wedding photos}
Trevor slipped Tina's wedding band on her finger. She admired it as he told her that he'd had something added - an inscription that read "Love through thick and thin." Tina put his band on his finger - telling him that he was welcome to have it engraved. They ended the wedding with a kiss... And another kiss... The two had never felt so young as when the audience stood and cheered. Their lives had really come full circle. Trevor cut the cake... And fed it to Tina in a romantic gesture, as a neighbor attempted to make a toast. The family sat down to their first family dinner in years. Evan even had a friend from private school join them. As Tina was leaving the table, Jade (Todd's girlfriend) joined the group as well. Trevor made a toas to Tina, proclaiming his undying devotion to her. More kissing... The smustle was a big hit at the wedding... Even the younger kids joined in on the dance. The bride and groom did eventually have a ceremoniuos first dance, with Todd and Jade joining them on the dance floor. Trevor stared into the eyes of his wife, forgetting all of the bad for a moment, and was taken back to their (first) wedding day. That was a high point in his life. Todd and Jade danced for hours under the moonlight. As they danced, they discussed college plans... The wedding party was a success and the happy couple was awarded a honeymoon. Trevor opted to stay home though, on account of his condition. Tina went on without him, but returned a few hours later - too guilty to have fun without Trevor. Despite the day's festivities, Evan still had homework to do and for the first time ever, he asked his dad for help. Adele turned to her mom for help with her homework. Through joint effort, the kids had their homework done and were in bed in no time. Tina talked to Trevor's belly before climbing into bed, wondering how soon they would be welcoming the baby into the world - how soon their marriage would really be put to the test. Trevor and Tina lay in silence on the bed, thinking about what lay ahead, peacefully enjoying each other's company. Trevor pulled Tina closer to him and Tina let herself get comfortable in his arms. It had been a while since his arms had felt secure. They were lying like this when... Trevor suddenly pulled away and got out of bed. He started screaming in pain as Tina realized he was going into labor. After some labor, Trevor gave birth to another green baby. This time, it was a girl. He held her in front of him, taking it all in. Trevor handed the baby to Elaine a few minutes later.
"What's her name?" Tina asked.
"I don't know. I haven't decided." Trevor replied, deep in thought. "I know - why don't you pick!"
"Are you sure?" Tina asked, hesitant.
"I'm sure - you're going to be a part of her life too." Trevor replied, smiling at the baby and Tina.
"Okay. How about Elaine?" Tina replied, picking what Trevor had wanted to name Todd if he had come out a girl.
"Elaine." Trevor repeated, thoughtfully. "Yes, Elaine. Hello baby Elaine."
