Hello! Welcome to the prologue for The College Years. This series is a continuation of The Chronicles of the Carr Family. This series will follow Todd, Jade, and Drew as they navigate their way through Sim State University. If you want to know more about these three (especially Todd), you can read parts 1-5 of The Chronicles of the Carr Family. It is not necessary though. Let's get started!

Hello! Welcome to the prologue for The College Years. This series is a continuation of The Chronicles of the Carr Family. This series will follow Todd, Jade, and Drew as they navigate their way through Sim State University. If you want to know more about these three (especially Todd), you can read parts 1-5 of The Chronicles of the Carr Family. It is not necessary though. Let's get started! Since there will be several new characters in this series, it seemed necessary to introduce you to them. That will be the main focus of the prologue.

This is Simford Hall, where Todd, Jade, Drew, and a few of their friends will be living their freshman year. Simford Hall is a medium-sized dorm with eight rooms. It is a relatively typical dorm, with a community bath, common area, and cafeteria. Todd, Jade, and Drew are looking forward to spending the next year under the same roof. This is Todd Carr. For those of you that have read The Chronicles of the Carr Family, you will immediately recognize him, although he has grown a bit. Todd went to Meadowbrook Academy, a private school, for high school where he met his best friend Drew McClure and his girlfriend, Jade McClure. He plans to major in political science. This is Drew McClure, Todd's best friend. He also went to Meadowbrook Academy. He has a twin sister, Jade, who is currently at college as well. Drew met Abbey Ajjanagadde, his current love interest, at Meadowbrook Academy. They are not currently dating, however, they had a short romance in high school after he invited her to his dad's wedding. He is planning to major in philosophy. This is Jade McClure. Many of you will recognize her from The Chronicles of the Carr Family. She met Todd at Meadowbrook Academy and is currently looking forward to continuing her relationship with him in college. She plans to major in Drama, hoping to one day have a career in Show Business. This is Abbey Ajjanagadde, who also attended Meadowbrook Academy with Todd, Drew, and Jade. She will be living in Simford Hall. She is hoping to finally convince Drew that they should go steady. She's not sure how this will work out though since he is afraid of commitment. She plans to major in Biology. This is Amy Jones. Amy Jones was the mail girl for the first house that the Carr Family moved into in Meadowbrook. She had a brief romance with Todd when they were freshmen in high school. She attend Meadowbrook High School, the public school for Meadowbrook. She currently has a boyfriend and is looking forward to renewing her friendship with Todd and Jade. She is planning to major in art. This is Mindy Evans. Mindy Evans was Jade's best friend in elementary school until she moved away. The two kept in touch and are excited to be living in the same dorm at Sim State University. She is looking forward to renewing an old friendship and making new ones. She will be majoring in psychology. This is Carter Jones. He is not from Meadowbrook, nor has he ever lived in Meadowbrook. He is a stranger to all of the others living in Simford Hall. He hopes to change this quickly. He is looking forward to all of the fun stuff about college, including the girls and the parties. He is planning on majoring in economics. This is the last of the dormmates, Jimmy Hines. Like Carter, he is new to the area and does not know any of his dormmates. He isn't as outgoing as Carter, so for now he's hoping to keep from embarrassing himself. So far, his dormmates seem to be friendly and nice but he's prepared for the worst. He is going to major in literature. This is Donny Williamson, Amy's boyfriend. He is currently attending Sim State University, but he has chosen to live with some buddies of his in a private residence. He attended Meadowbrook High School with Amy and is worried about her living in the same dorm as her old flame. He had not decided on a major and is exploring his options. Well, that's the end of the prologue. I have introduced you to the beginning characters of the story. As the story progresses and the characters grow and change, more characters will enter the story and you can learn about them as it goes along. For now, this is a preview of the story to come. Keep your eye out for the first part of The College Years.

Would you prefer to see the story written from the point of view of all of the characters, one of the characters (Todd), or a few of the characters (Todd, Jade, Drew)? Please give me feedback on this. Happy simming!
