In a small town in the center of the Sim World, people come to get away from the drama of the big city. Little do they know that this town is filled with more drama than the big city they are escaping. Lies, deceit, and love intermix with the lives of the families of Pleasantview to form one big mess. After moving into the neighborhood, the Caliente sisters went to visit Mortimer Goth, looking for a familiar face in town. Mortimer was after all the husband of the sister of Dina's late husband. As a peace offering, Nina brought a cake with her. It wasn't long before Mortimer had warmed up to Dina Caliente. The two of them were spending most of their time together. This was when the plan first hatched itself - when Dina realized that she was getting close to Mortimer. Of course, when the plan started taking shape, Dina forgot about Mortimer's daughter, Cassandra, who was too smart for her own good sometimes.

Cassandara still couldn't believe it - she was engaged to the man of her dreams. She had tamed the town Cassanova - a task the town said couldn't be accomplished. And here they were, in her bed, making wedding plans. It was then that she knew...
She knew she was ready to finally go all the way with Don. She knew that he had wanted to do this for so long but had held off because she wasn't ready. She took him by surprise and took the lead. For once in her life, she wasn't worried about the consequences. Dina decided to bring up the topic of Mortimer over dinner one night.
"Nina? Don't you ever get tired of eating take-out and living in this small place?"
"Well, yeah. But it's not like we can do anything about it..."
"Not without a plan." Dina said, nonchalantly.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean I have a plan. And it should go easily."
"Well, I'm all ears." Nina replied, with a hint of skepticism in her voice.
"I was thinking - Mortimer sure fell for the first young thing that crossed his path, didn't he?" Dina prompted.
"Yeah...but what's that go to do with anything?" Nina asked. "You're not thinking of luring him into something, are you D?"
"That's exactly what I'm doing." Dina said. "It won't take much - he's already half-way there. All I have to do is get him to marry me and then dangle some bait in front of his face until he becomes unfaithful. Then, I get my divorce and a hefty settlement."
Nina thought for a minute. For once her sister's hairbrained idea made a little sense. This might actually stand a chance of working. "What do you need me to do?" Nina asked.
Dina told Nina that she was going to need help finding the bait. Nina suggested that they get started on it right away and headed to the phone to call the one person in town that knew a lot of girls - Don Lothario. Cassandra wasn't sure how she got here. Don had been gone for about two hours when Darren Dreamer showed up at the door. She had been good friends with Darren for a while now. He was a bit older than her and had a teenage son, but they had a lot in common. They had been sitting on her bed talking and before she knew it they were kissing.... And then things became more heated. She briefly contemplated slowing down but things felt right. This seemed to be where she belonged - at least in this moment. As Darren lay sleeping next to her, Cassandra thought about what she had done. She was turning into one of those girls that she hated. What was she going to do with herself? Meanwhile, Mortimer was trying to get the lovely Dina Caliente out of his head by getting a blind date from the Matchmaker. He was desperate for distraction. His date was lovely and much closer to his age, but things just didn't feel right. While he gazed into her eyes at the end of the date, all he could think of was Dina's lovely eyes. He was just going to have to succumb himself to Dina. Cassandra hadn't been feeling too well lately. She was spending much of her time with an upset stomach. She had convinced herself that it must be the flu. But deep down somewhere inside of her, she knew that her life was about to be flipped upside down permanently. Things around the Goth household were as normal as could be expected. Cassandra tried to bring up the topic of Dina (whom she despised) with her father, but she never could get him alone. Nina finally got a hold of Don and went over to his place to discuss Dina's plan and find out if he knew any girls to help.
"So, your fiesty sister is going to try to take old Morty?"
"Pretty much. That way we can finally get out of our small home and live the life we've always wanted." Nina explained to Don.
"So, you're doing this for the money?"
"Yeah - why? Is that a problem?"
"No... But what makes you so certain that your sister will share any of it with you?"
"Because she's my sister."
"That she is - but she's also overly money hungry. I doubt she'd share."
"So, what do you suggest - that I seduce Mortimer myself?"
"NO!" Don replied, a bit too hasty. "I suggest that you rely on me."
"Rely on you?" Nina asked. "What do you mean?"
"You forget, my sweet, that I'm engaged to Cassandra Goth. She's worth as much as Morty, especially with the disappearance of Bella."
"Yes you are. But how would you get ahold of her money?" Nina asked, intrigued.
"Simple - the same way as Dina. Cassandra doesn't love me - she just thinks she does. Truth be told, she's just like her father in some respects. All it would take is proof and I'd be living the high life."
"And where do I come in?"
"Well, after the divorce, I'll need someone to share my fortune," Don said, looking in Nina's eyes. "You. Don't worry - I'll still find Dina some help."
Dina had underestimated Mortimer. He was more into her than even she had predicted. Getting him to marry her should be a cinch. She had gotten Michael to marry her and he was less interested. Dina was coming back from the Goth bathroom when Cassandra cornered her. She's not looking so hot these days, Dina though to herself.
Cassandra gave Dina what she thought to be a stern warning to stay away from her father. Dina simply replied that Mortimer was a big boy and he could make his own decisions.
As Cassandra got ready for work, she realized that her clothes were fitting tighter than normal. That suspicion in the back of her mind was quickly working it's way to the forefront. Dear Diary -
I've done some truly heinous things lately. I'm not liking who I'm becoming. I'm engaged to one man and now I realize that I might be pregnant. And I don't know who the father is. I don't want to have to talk to my dad about this one. Where is my mother when I need her?
~ Cassie
Cassandra was definitely pregnant. There could be no other explanation. She found some of Bella's old maternity clothes in the attic and tried them on for size. Perfect fit - they even left enough room for her third trimester. She knew she was going to have to tell her father sooner or later. She would also have to tell Don and Darren. She had been avoiding them for as long as she could. "Dad?" Cassandra entered the room. "Can we talk?"
"Sure sweetie. What's the matter?" Mortimer asked, only half-noting the maternity clothes.
"Well...I'm pregnant," Cassandra told him.
"How is Don handling it?" Mortimer asked. His daughter was a grown woman who didn't need him to yell at her to know that she was in trouble.
"He's...I haven't told him yet," Cassandra began crying. She couldn't tell her father the truth.
"Well, you know what you need to do Cass." Mortimer told her, as he held his daughter tight.
As promised, Don had located someone to help Dina with her plan - Kalynn Langerak. Kaylynn was the maid for many of the families in town. It would be easy for her to get near to Mortimer. In addition to being the maid, she had a nortorious track record with men. The four of them spent long into the night discussing Dina's plan and enjoying each other's company. Don could not believe that things were going so well. Nina was wondering how exactly Don knew Kaylynn. Dina was estatic that her plan was taking shape. Kaylynn - well she was still trying to figure other things out. "Nina - I want to thank you for your help with everything." Dina began at dinner.
"No problem - I didn't do much."
"I just have one question - are you sure Don won't squeal to Cassandra?"
"Trust me...he's on our side." Nina replied, thinking about Don's own secret plan.
Later that day, Kaylynn dropped by to discuss things further with Dina. Everyone needed to be on the same page if this thing was going to work. Dina filled Kaylynn in on the plan - taking advic where Kaylynn was willing to give it.

Will Dina succeed in her plan? What is Cassandra going to do about her problem? What does Don really want?
Stay tuned for Chapter 2...

Actually I DID get rid of Cassandra's dreadful ponytails and those awful glasses, lightened her eyes, made her up and she is surprisingly very pretty. I started dressing her in hotter clothes too.  I like this story and I am quite anxious to see where it goes.\:rah\:
