If you are getting the Malformed XML error that usually means you have a non-standard character in your file name. Examples of non-standard characters would be dashes (-), apostrophes('), quotation marks ("), number signs (#), or any non-English letters. What you'll want to do is go back into your game and click the Share button again to generate a new Sims3pack file for your Sim and this time take out the non-standard character from the file name.
