Summer Vacation

Author: gamelia | Posted Jul 10, 2009 | 0 comments

I am on a short vacation until July 20. I have some TS2 lots to upload, but was hoping to having the color warp issue resolved soon.

I'll be back in two weeks!

Happy Simming!

Submissions: Color Warp in Lot Preview Images

Author: gamelia | Posted May 28, 2009 | 0 comments

I don't know what's gotten into the submission system, but it coughs and sputters every time I feed it a preview image. On some browsers it returns an image with a bright, icky green hue. On other browsers, it shows a negative color image. And sometimes it doesn't show at all.

I assure you that nothing is wrong with the colors in my lots. They are normal. Below is a comparison of the TSR preview image (left) and the original image (right).

Currently building base game compatible homes . . .

Author: gamelia | Posted May 18, 2009 | 0 comments

I am currently working on a set of base game compatible luxury homes. The Carlton is the first in the set. The next one, The Templeton, will be coming out next week.

These will be the last TS2 lots I build. Only 15 days to TS3!

Starting Fresh

Author: gamelia | Posted May 3, 2009

My pc was recently infected by a virus. Although Norton quarantined it, my task manager was corrupted and I had errors during Windows startup. In the end, I reformatted my hard drive and reinstalled XP. With The Sims 3 right around the corner, I may not reinstall all the TS2 EPs.  At least now I have a super clean computer all ready for TS3. :-)

My whereabouts . . .

Author: gamelia | Posted Apr 25, 2009 | 0 comments

Due to some setbacks in real life, I have not added any lots lately. I do have a few things in the works, but I'm finding it difficult to stay motivated to keep building for TS2 with The Sims 3 coming soon.

I can't wait to get my hands on the new game!

Update: SA status and TS3

Author: gamelia | Posted Dec 18, 2008 | 0 comments

I haven't been around for awhile and just wanted to update everyone. Real life keeps me very busy these days. The fall and winter months are always hectic for me because of my job. Since my schedule and ability to create new lots are so erratic, I have resigned as Select Artist. There are far more deserving folks out there who can contribute more regularly. But I will continue to build and submit lots, just as soon as my life gets back to normal.

That said, I am getting excited about the release of TS3 in February! I doubt I will play and build for TS2 once I get TS3. So you might not see too many TS2 lot submissions from me in the future.

I expect to have a week off the first week in March so I can play TS3 until my eyes bleed and my head melts. :P

I hope you all have a wonderful, relaxing holiday season filled with peace and happiness. Merry Christmas!

Duplex Apartment on the way

Author: gamelia | Posted Oct 7, 2008 | 0 comments

I just finished testing a large duplex apartment destined for the suburbs. It can house two families, each with 6-8 Sims. It should be available in a couple of days.

Though I do love apartments, building them is a monumental task!--especially since I like to fully furnish and decorate them as though the neighbors were already living there. :-) Because autumn is always a super busy time for me, I plan to turn my attention back to some traditional houses--that is to say, less time-consuming projects. But I do want to build more terrace houses. Just need to find the time.

Happy Simming, everyone!
