~Janelle~ After leaving the warm sand, Aleeza came in and started correspondence with her new place of employment. Her new boss was a friend of a friend in the modeling world. Aleeza was a former covergirl, but she had decided to retire and take up dancing. She still had all her spoils of her modeling career, though: the clothes. Aleeza got up from the computer and thought for a minute about what she should do next. "Ah!" she said. "I should change my clothes and do something useful around here." So she changed and went to meet her new neighbors. Here, she was talking to Cristalle Morena, and Cristalle's husband, Carlton. Aleeza and Cristalle hit it off immediately. They laughed about the silly things the men in their lives did, and about the horrible clothing that the people in their neighborhoods thought was high fashion. Meanwhile, Adam went to sit down at the kitchen table and think about how he was going to change his and Aleeza's relationship to more than a platonic friendship. Aleeza made some meaty lasagna and served it outside on the patio. She chose to eat inside due to the number of guests. Carlton and his wife sat out on the patio enjoying a nice romantic meal of Aleeza's lasagna under the wicker umbrella. Adam and the Morena's maid, Karla, were caught up in playing a game of catch with a softball on the other side of the patio. Aleeza watched all these interactions from the kitchen as she washed the dishes. She thought about what her day at work would be like and how she had a lot to learn about dance if she planned on becoming a professional someday. But for now, she was jusat a simple dancer in training. Aleeza finished putting away the leftovers from the scrumptious lasagna dinner she had whipped up. Then she changed and started working out trying to keep her flat abs. After all, she needed to keep all her muscles strong for dancing. After a long and arduous workout, she hit the tub to relax her muscles. As she soaked in the bubbles, she thought of a way to take her and Matt's purely platonic relationship to another level. She put on an avocado face mask and let it dry before washing it off. After all, beauty doesn't happen by itself. She washed off the face mask and looked in the mirror at her fresh, clean, and pure skin. "Aaah, I'm finally ready for bed." She pulled back the covers and got into bed so she could be fully rested for her first day at work. Meanwhile, Adam was watching the lovely ladies of the Morena household. He couldn't help but compare Aleeza to them. Sure, they were beautiful, but there was just something about Aleeza that really attracted him to her. Adam soon began to tire, and so he rested his head on the couch for a minute with the excuse that he was "examining his eyelids". He figured it wasn't very hospitable to fall asleep on his guests, so he said goodbye to Karla first, whom he had become very good friends with. Then he said goodbye to the Morena's, who weren't as good friends as he had hoped yet, but he would try to get there eventually. He figured that if he made good friends with Cristalle, he could get in good with Aleeza. Then he changed into his pajamas and slid into bed. He fell into a deep slumber almost immediately, dreaming of the days events and the gir who he believed to be his one true love. Aleeza slept peacefully as well, dreaming of her new housemate and the people she had met that day. The next morning, Aleeza woke up early because she had to catch the carpool to work. She didn't have much time to make breakfast, so she just grabbed a meal replacement from the refridgerator. Carlton had woken up by this time and grabbed a bowl of cereal and some milk for breakfast. Aleeza went to the bathroom and stared at herself before deciding what she wanted to do in the way of makeup and hair for work that day. She decided on a very red lipstick and a curly ponytail for her first day on the job. Then she changed into a neat pair of slacks and a yellow silk top and off she went to work. Adam had just finished his bowl of cereal and was cleaning up after himself. He stared at the rest of the dirty pots from the night before before butting them in the dishwasher. Then he took the trash out before it started to smell up the entire house. Garbage is not an appealing smell. He brought in that morning's paper to read to see how his stocks were doing. You wouldn't be able to tell this from looking at him, but Adam was a very rich man who had spent his time in offices earning all his money, and now he just invested in the stock market because he had no one to invest it in. But that would change now that Aleeza was here. He finished reading the paper and changed into his bathing trunks. He was going to go for a bath, but he decided better of it and just lounged around on a recliner. While Adam was reclining on his patio, he had a baby grand piano delivered to their home because Aleeza had told him how much she loved to play the piano as a little girl. Besides, he wasn't doing anything better with his money. Then he went sunbathing on a towel closer to the water's shore, but not close enough for any water to even splash on him. He laid down and got comfortable. After all, he wanted to keep his tan so it looked like he actually made sue of his beach. Then he went inside and changed into a polo shirt and jeans. At the last minute, he added a quirky polka dotted tie as an odd accesory, but it completed his look. He sat down to get a feel of the new piano, and he felt his old piano lessons coming back and the music was flowing more freely from his fingers. Then he hopped in the tub after a long day of.......relaxation. Who knew relaxation could be such hard work? Aleeza came home while Adam was in the tub. and she noticed another neighbor behind her. She went over to greet the new neighbor and discovered that her name was Robyn Arunzel. Robyn was the mother of one child, but she still looked good. Aleeza said "Hey, you look to be about my size, and since I have this great collection of clothes, you can borrow some anytime you want." Robyn thought, "How great, another friend's closet to raid!" Then Adam came out to meet Robyn and Aleeza went over to greet a teenager who had wandered by named Toby. When Aleeza came in and saw the piano, she did a little happy dance. As a matter of fact, she jumped for joy. What an awesome gift to recieve from her housemate. And he actually remembered that she love the piano. He was a sweetheart. Aleeza took a bath after a sweaty day of dance practice, washing the dirt and grime off her skin, and relaxing her aching muscles. She then went into the kitchen and started to prepare an appetizing meal. The final result: A steaming platter of filet mignon and mashed potatoes. She put the individual plates of food on the table and called everyone for dinner. Only Adam came at first, and he sat on the opposite side of the table from Aleeza. Then Robyn came along and took Adam's plate before he could even take a forkful of food. (No lie, she seriously did.) So he moved to sit next to Aleeza, the woman who tormented him in his dreams. Robyn came back in after enjoying a hearty meal and thought of what else there was to do here. She got in the tub and got her skin all shiny and clean. Then she raided Aleeza's closet and came up with this ensemble. It was off the Fall runway collection and it fit her perfectly. Meanwhile, Aleeza sat down to the piano and let the music calm her spirit and relax her soul. She went into her room and saw Robyn and said, "Wow! That looks great on you!" Robyn blushed a little and mumbled "Thanks." Aleeza said, "Hey, why don't I take a picture of you?" And Robyn agreed. She posed like a true model. Don't you think so? Robyn said "Thanks Aleeza. For everything." But Aleeza wasn't done yet. She gave Robyn a makeover! She took Robyn's lokng hair down and added a few extensions. She also redid Robyn's makeup so it would look more professional. This is Robyn after her makeover! Aleeza smiled at a job well done. She was satisfied with the outcome, and I think Robyn was too. Aleeza also added some extensions in her hair and styled it in the same manner as Robyn's. They were going to be the best of friends. Aleeza's job well done on her own makeover. She looks absolutely fabulous, or as a famous designer would say, "Fierce!" The ladies said their goodbyes on the porch and Robyn went home to her family. Aleeza just stripped down to her underwear and went to bed. Peace at last. Adam had been sleeping for hours already, in Aleeza's bed. Oh well, no matter. If things went well, they would soon be sharing a bed. Adam was the first one up the next morning. Aleeza woke up not too late after. She made both beds before heading to the kitchen. Adam was already in the kitchen making blueberry french toast. Aleeza sat down at the table, ready and waiting for some of that scrumptious smelling breakfast. Adam placed a plate in front of her, and she began to eat ravenously. They chitchatted over breakfast, talking about what was planned for each of their days. Aleeza soon got up to leave for work. She couldn't afford to miss the carpool as she hadn't gotten her car yet. She wanted and Audi, but the car dealership hadn't gotten the new ones yet. She quickly changed into a striped knit dress and ran to the car. Adam thought of Aleeza's predicament with her car as he finished his breakfast. He cleaned up after himself and Aleeza before starting on his day's activities. Then he put away the leftovers because he didn't want them to spoil. He changed into some lounging clothes, a sweatshirt and a hoodie. Adam arranged for a driveway to be paved that day, and he ordered a Hummer and the new Audi that Aleeza wanted to be delivered. He was a business man with many connections. He could get jst about anything. He lounged half of his day away on the patio before doing anythinng else. He called a restaurant and made reservations for a table. Everyone knew Mr. Robinson. He also arranged for a maid to come and clean his home everyday. He did not want his beautiful Aleeza doing menial work. He jumped for joy when he thought of his plan for the night. He just couldn't keep his crowd-pleasing grin off his face. He then went out to the front porch to wait for Aleeza to get home. First he lounged around for a bit on the bench. Then he sat up ramrod straight... The he stood up. Finally, he saw her carpool coming to drop her off. He ran up to her and waved hello. Then he said, "I have a surprise for you!" Aleeza leaned back and asked, "What could the surprise be today?" When he told her it was a car, she just had to hug him to show him her gratitude. Then she walked toward her brand new silver 2008 Audi. She got in and ran her hands over the steering wheel. It was just what she wanted, and Adam was happy to fulfill her wish. Then Adam said, " I know we agreed a strictly platonic relationship would be best, but I would like to know if you would go on a date with me tonight?" Aleeza's heart skipped a beat as she heard his proposal, and then she herself asnwering, "I would love to." They both went inside to prepare themselves for the big event of the night. Aleeza went to look for the perfect outfit.
"Too yellow" she thought. "Too fancy and hard to walk in." "Too plain and brown." "Too much skin showing." "Too short." "Perfect", as she decided on a breathtaking couture in orange, with a string of pearls thrown haphazardly around her neck. Next was her hair. She decided on dramatic eye makeup with neutral lipstick and a chic updo. Then she went into the hallway to wait for Adam. Adam was just leaving his room in his decidedly favorite suit. He just had to say "Wow!" when he saw her because she looked so amazing. He gave a quick peck on the lips and said "Let's go, before we miss our reservations." And off the pair headed out the door. Adam decided to drive Aleeza in her new car and so they both got in and Adam cautiously backed the car out of the driveway. They arrived at the club not too long after leaving the house. They were seated instantly and the waiter came over quickly. They held hands at the table during their meal of lime seared prawns and fresh salad. The food was excellent and the ambient atmosphere lightened their moods. Then Adam went over to the DJ and requested some music. Aleeza walked over to him and he asked her to dance. The timidly held hands at first, but their bodies soon fell into sync and they were moving as one. Everything was going smoothly until Adam tried to kiss Aleeza, and she pulled away. She eventually started dancing with him again, but the mood waas ruined. They decided to go home. When they arrived home, they sat in the car in silence for a while. The Aleeza said, "I'm sorry I pulled away from you like that when we were dancing, but I wasn't ready for all of this so quickly. I hope we can have another date sometime soon." Adam's spirits soared as he heard her words. She wanted to go on another date with him! Then she leaned forward and kissed him full on the lips, a happy ending to a happy day. Adam retired to his room to think of the events of the day and how he was improving his chances of being with Aleeza. Aleeza retired to her room as well and thought of the exciting events of the day. And as they both lay in their beds, they were thinking of the possible events that were to come. Who knows what coud happen? We'll see next time when we "Meet The Robinsons".
