Part One

--The sequel to The Hidden Truth will come soon. Certain people have growing up to do! Hello and welcome to my story. If you've ever been to Strangetown, you probably know about me...or atleast my aunt. I'm eighteen and in love. I guess you can call me an orphan since both my parents 'mysteriously' died, or if you know my aunt, you know that my parents were murdered. I finally moved out of her house, she was my enemy. She took my parents, she took my freedom, she took my money. I'm now living with my boyfriend, Johnny. I'm on a mission to bring my parents back, and that is what my story is about. In case you've never heard of her, this is my 'aunt'. I ended up living with her after my parents died. I hated her. I still hate her. I always will hate her. She may seem sad over the loss of her, I think fifth, husband. Liar. She uses people and takes their life, using the rest of life they had to prolong hers.

Anyway, Olive was over at her last husband's grave, 'crying'. "You can stop pretending..." I said.
"Wha, what do you mean?" She studdered.
"You know what I mean," I replied, "stop faking your sorrow."
 "Oh Ophelia," she said chuckling, "you silly teen."
I stared at her.
"You know you're not sad. It's the same thing, everyday. You just pretend, put on a show. It was the same thing at my parents' funeral. Just a show." I yelled. I was tired of this. "GET....AWAY....FROM ME!" She stamered through deep breaths. She was mad, I didn't care though. She had ruined my everything, my entire life. She took away my parents.

I started to walk to the house, but stopped at the door. I noticed someone was at our gate... I ran over to him.
"What are you doing here?" I whispered. "If my aunt sees you..."
"Don't worry," he said, "it's important. My dad and his friends think there's a way to bring back your parents..." "WHAT!" I exclaimed, trying not to be too loud. "You mean bring them back from the dead?" I asked.
"Yes...first we need to get you out of this house. Come to my birthday party tomorrow and you can move out with me." He said. I started at him in disbelief...bringing my parents back!
 "Okay, I'll be there." I said and kissed him goodnight.
He walked away quickly. I walked over to my parents' grave. It had been so long since they were gone.
What would it be like with them back? Would they like Johnny?' I wondered. I pondered for a bit and went in to bed. I needed sleep. The next day I went over to Johnny's birthday party. He hugged me and welcomed me in. His family welcomed me also. I loved his family. They weren't normal, they loved me, and they accepted the two of us.
"Johnny!" His mom called and we went over to his cake. After singing 'Happy Birthday', Johnny made his wish and blew out the candles. With a big spin and bang, Johnny grew up. He was now considered an adult. "Congratulations love!" I said and hugged him.
"Thanks, come with me." He took my hand and walked me to the porch. We sat on the white porch chairs and he opened up a paper.
"I found us a house." He said.
"Really!?" I asked. "When can we move in?"
"Now. The cab's coming." he said. Sure enough, the cab pulled up a few minutes later. We packed and left. We arrived at our new house a few minutes later. We only lived one street away from Johnny's parents' house. It was a nice house. We didn't have much but it was enough. "So...how soon can my parents come back?" I asked. "Well, it may be a bit. You'll be an adult by the time they do. My dad's working on it with the Curious family." He said.
"Oh..." I replied. "As long as I get them back."
"I promise you babe, you'll get them back." That's the end of the first chapter.
