The Final Part

by Harvickgirl I shoved my head into the contraption, still nervous about what it was going to do. I saw numerous images of happy, smiling families and babies. I suddenly felt the urge to have a baby. I wanted a family. I pulled my head out and turned to Matt, who dropped down to one knee. "Janet, now that you want a family, will you marry me!?" He asked, smiling. "Oh yes!" I said, jumping into his arms. As much as I loved Matt, I couldn't help but feel odd about this. There was something fishy going on... Right after the proposal, Matt got a call that Jessica was having the baby. He ran off and said sorry that I couldn't come. I understood though, she wouldn't be to please to see me there. After a few days, the phone rang and startled me. Matt had been onver at Jess's all week helping with the baby. It was two a.m., who would be calling?
"Hello..." I said faintly. "Hey Jan, it's Matt!"
"Oh, hi baby!" I said excitedly.
"She had a boy! I'm sorry I never called back. I was just trying to help and all, it's a lot of work!"
"I'm sure it is, hun. It's fine...I understand." Right after I said that, there was a faint whisper in the background...'Come on Maaaattt, come back to bed.' He started coughing. He wasn't just helping with the baby...
"Well, anyway, I'll be home tomorrow. "No Matt," I said angrily, "you can just stay there, forever. You can just stay there with Jessica, you can just stay. You know, they're right when they say once a cheater, always a cheater." I hung up. I couldn't believe it...I was there for him when he needed it, I thought he loved me... I began to cry but it was interupted by a sharp pain coming from the baby...I was going into labor. "MATTHEW PICASSO, I HATE YOU!" I screamed while going through a contraction. This baby was not going to wait for it's dad. After a little bit of pain, I had the baby, a baby boy. I named him Andrew, like my father who died to early to see his beautiful grandson. I looked at the baby with joy, he looked just like me, thank God! I laid him in the crib I recently purchased and looked down at the sleeping infant. "Maybe I could do this," I thought to myself, "maybe I can raise this child by myself." "Oh, who am I kidding?" I said to Andrew and started crying. I heard a car door slam...Matt was here. He walked into the house, as if nothing had happened. It was then he spotted his son. "He's gorgeous, babe." He said excitedly.
"LEAVE MATT, I KNOW YOU CHEATED! GET OUT! WE'RE OVER!" I yelled, throwing the engagement ring at him. Matt ran off shaking his head and crying. It was all over. Matt was out of my life. He was gone. It was just me and my baby, Andy. As for Matt, he ended up asking Jessica if he could move in. She reluctently said yes. I was shocked at how beautiful she was, for she totally changed her look after Matt left. They ended up married again at the end of the week. Their baby, Tim, was healthy, and it seemed their love was too. Matt hasn't cheated since me. As for me, I removed every sign of Matt from my house and replaced it with something better. My baby was growing up well. I hadn't started dating again though, I just wasn't ready. Overall, I was fine with the singal mom thing. I'd like to thank you for reading my story. I know it was only three chapters. It's basically a prequel to Harvickgirl's actual story. :D I hope you'll read that too, it should be out soon.
