Chapter One
-Harvickgirl Welcome to my story. I'm Janet Rickliff and I'm fresh out of college. I just moved to downtown Pleasentview and decided to take a trip to P.U.R.E. Night club. As you probably guessed, I love to party and figured what other way to meet people than travel around downtown. I took a seat at the bar next to a man in a green polo and army patterned pants. He didn't really make eye contact with me. I had my drink and left to dance. Later that evening he came up to me.
"Hey there...I'm Matt Picasso. I'm sorry I was rude to you at the bar. I just left from a fight with my wife and wasn't really in the mood to talk."
"It's cool." I said sweetly. "I understand."
We started talking... And before we knew it we were dancing out on the floor. Matt was such a cute guy and funny! He was also a great dancer and really strong. He worked for the military. The more I got to know him, the more jealous I was of his wife. After a bit of dancing, he stopped and grabbed my arm.
"I've never met a girl like you before Janet. You really are a lot of fun." I smiled.
"You're pretty fun yourself Matt." He smiled and laughed a little. He pulled me closer to him and... Kissed me.
Believe me, that was the best kiss of my life.
Even better than Don's, my ex-boyfriend.
(You can see him! Boy is he jealous!) One kiss lead to another... And led to my house...

"Listen babe, I gotta go home or Jen will find out. I promise, I'll come back tomorrow."
Sadly, I replied, "Alright. Until then..."

Wow...I'm lame. I thought after he left. But Matt did come back the next day. And pretty much everyday. It felt so good to be in his strong arms. It had now been about three months since I met him and I was practicly head over heels in love. Everytime we kissed, it made me wish he was mine for good. I knew Matt couldn't leave his wife though. She was one month pregnant with their baby. It also hurt me to know that I wasn't the only one Matthew was sleeping with. We continued to make out, eventually going up to my room. He pulled me close to him. You can pretty much guess what happened from here... After we 'played in the bedroom', Matt jumped in the shower and I went down to the kitchen to make coffee. I came back up once he had finished.

"Baby, I don't want to leave. But, you know I have to." He said as he stroked my cheek.
"I know hun...I love you."
He smiled that sweet smile and said, "I love you too." We kissed good night and he left. As I heard the door shut, I started to cry. I couldn't do this anymore. I loved Matt and here I was hiding it from everyone. I couldn't stand being his second woman. I wanted to be his only woman. But there was nothing I could do. He refused to leave his wife, especially now that she was pregnant. I slowly stopped crying and started to feel a bit quesy... I hope you like my first chapter in "The Hidden Truth".
And I hope you enjoy the simalicious coffee she made you!
