Sorry in advance both for how long this took me to upload, and for any spelling or gramatical errors.

This was supposed to be up and out earlier........but I wasn't feeling very well so I didn't feel very much like my normal creative self. Don't forget to leave a comment, and let me know how I'm doing.

"Daddy's little girl".
Little Storm is the center of her parents' world; but especially so for her father.
Iam: My little rain drop is so.....so....so.....beautiful. I just can't think of words that would do my love for her justice. Wow......I'm such a lucky man. Not only did I get a happy, healthy, baby girl..........she is a cutie-pie. I'm going to teach you everything I can..........and give you every minute of my time. Iam: Ima! Honey?!? You'll miss the big moment. (tah-dah)

Iam: Oh my gosh......you're finally a toddler! Iam: I can't wait to teach you..........EVERYTHING!!! I've been dreaming of all the things we'd do together ever since your Mother was pregnent with you. Iam: You little lady......are a heartbreaker. And I'm going to make sure that once the boys discover where we live..........Daddy is going to install a big tall electric fence.........or maybe we'll just get some nice doggies to keep all those boys away from Daddy's little rain drop. Iam: I'm going to go talk to Mammy. You sit here and play with your toy like a good little girl. Iam: Hey Monkey Face. What were you doing?
Ima: I was busy with something out here. I heard you say something but I couldn't tell what you were saying.
Iam: Oh just telling you to come watch your daughter turn into a toddler.
Ima: I missed what?!?!?!? Oh no! Of all the things to have missed! I've got to see what I missed.
(Ima ran quickly into the house)
Ima: Hi Storm. I'm sorry Mommy wasn't here to see you grow up. Wow your Dad was right........you are going to be a heartbreaker.
Storm: Hee hee hee. Na ma da la boo (baby babble).
Ima: 1st things 1st..........potty time. You need to learn where to put those little rain drops of yours. Ima: Oh is someone tired? It's been a long day with all of this growing up and all. Ima: Night time for you. Even lttle weather systems need some down time. Ima: Tomarrow Daddy will finish teaching you where your presipitation goes. Ima: See you in the morning sweetie. (A day filled with turning into a toddler was tiring, just like Mommy had said) (While Ima and Iam ate dinner they talked about about their dreams.)
Iam: You know having Storm was a dream come true. I can't imagine anyting making life better.
Ima: I know what you mean. I did have one idea though.
Iam: What's that?
Ima: I was thinking that once Storm was old enough we could take a family vacation.
Iam: Well I think I'd like that.........very much. We need to talk about it further and more importantly how to afford it.
Iam: You know Monkey Face. I've been thinking......and........
Ima: Yes?
Iam: Well after having had Storm I think you deserve to have a small vacation.
Ima: Really?
Iam: Yes but AFTER Storm is a child. And ONLY after her grades are good enough too miss some time from school.
Ima: Oh Mushy Baby.......I love you!!!
Iam: Me too.......so did my Mother. She told me so every night.
Ima: Oh very funny.
Iam: We'll both put in for some vacation time. I'm sure if we plan it right we could take a vacation in the Summer.
Ima: That sounds wonderful.
Iam: As soon as Storm is old enough and the weather isn't too bad we'll practice camping in the yard.........so she'll be ready for the trip.
(The next day.)
Iam: Yeah.........way to go!!! That's my girl!
Storm spent the days in the warm nurturing environment of her loving parents.
Ima: This is a pine tree Storm. It stays green all year long.
Storm: Hee hee. Tee.
Ima: What?
Storm: Tee.
Ima: Tree?
(Storm nodded her head yes)
Ima: Oh what a good job! Mama's baby is learning to talk like a big girl.

Storm loved having the attention of both parents all to herself. Her parents had saved aside enough money that they could afford for BOTH of them to stay home and spend every moment they could with her. No nanny would be leaving THIS child in a highchair to scream for an hour. Maybe once Storm is a child Ima will hire a nanny and go back to work...........or maybe she can work hours that will coincide with Storm's school hours.
Iam: Who's Daddy's little Rain Drop?
Ima: Iam! Hurry!
Iam: OK. Daddy has to put you down for a minute now baby. Daddy needs too see what's wrong.
Iam: Time Beddy bye time anyway. Storm: Dada.
Iam: Oh yes baby Dada loves you too.
Iam: What's up?
Ima: It's raining........heavily!
Iam: Well what's so wrong about that?
Ima: Oh no..........the tree got hit by light
Iam: Holy Cow! I don't remember there being lighting so often in years past. Iam: Oh my gosh!
Ima: There goes another bolt of lightning!!!!
Iam: I've never seen this much lightning before. I don't get it.
Ima: And there's another one! Iam: I think lightning is pretty........but right now I think it's getting pretty dangerous. Ima: That one was even closer to the cabin!!!
Iam: OK this is definitley getting too close for comfort.
Ima:Aaaahhh! Fire! Iam I'am scared! What do we do? What do we do?
Iam: Stop screaming. Haveing you scream like that will onlly serve to wake the baby. I know it's hard but for Storm's sake we need to stay calm. Ima: Oh no it's getting bigger. Iam: That's too big for us to fight. We had better call the Fire Department before the wind blows any embers around and makes it spread. Ima: Too late. Iam: Hello! Sim City Fire Department?!?!? Send a batalian out right away! Lightning has struck some trees and now there is a forest fire starting...........please hurrry........I just built this cabin! The SCFD arrived quickly. Ima: Our beautiful forest. (sniffling with tears in her eyes). Iam: There there Monkey Face. We're safe and sound in our cabin. You even get to say "I told you so".
(Ima wiped her nose on her sleeve {luckily they were green already} and regained her composure.)
Iam: Lets go see if our Rain Drop is OK. Shall we?
Ima:Oh.......there.......she is........sleeping like.........well like a baby.
Iam: Yeah and just like a real rain drop she was sent from Heaven.
Ima: How come it's so quiet? I can barely hear a thing even though there are fireman running all around........and I barely hear a muffled background noise.
Iam: I used only the best quality when we built this cabin. It was worth it. No price is too much when it comes to my family.
Ima: Oh I hope no animals were in harm's way. Iam: I don't know. Hey is that a wolf? Ima: Oh my gosh it's a pack leader!
Iam: He sure doesn't look very happy.
Ima: No he certainly doesn't.
Iam: I think I'll stay indoors for a while at night........I wouldn't want that wolf thinking the fire was my fault and attacking me.
Ima: Oh now that fire is getting even bigger.......it's ingulfing more trees.......and more and more.! Iam: Why aren't they putting it out? I'm gratefull they extinguished the flames near the cabin, but what about those acrossed...........the.........river. (bright red with both emberassment and anger with his own lack of forsight) Fireman: Mr. Camper? We've tried everything we can. We knocked out the flames that threatened your home.........but we can't get across the river!
Iam: Oh dear God what have I done? How could I have forgoten to build a bridge?
Fireman: Well for now all we can do is stick around until it burns itself out. The SCFD won't leave until the fires are all out.
Ima: Thank you so much.
Fireman Your welcome ma'am. We'll be happy to stay and watch over your family and property........for an hourly fee of course.
Iam: Of course. Hourly fee?
True to their word the SCFD stayed at the Camper cabin. It was a long night and the wind finally died down, while the fires having burned the trees away; exhausted themselves of fuel and eventually died out. The next morning the SCFD left confidant that the Campers and their cabin were safe...........for the meantime at least. (the next day)
Iam: I built a bridge so that should something like that ever happen again the SCFD can get over there and fight the flames. I felt so terrible........after all had I just remembered to build it in the 1st place the original trees would still be here to this day. I felt so bad for all of the animals that may have been left homeless by the fire that I had some adult trees brought in as a replacement for the ones that burned down. I hope they will be accepted by the animals.
Ima: I'm sure that they will.
Iam: I'd miss hearing the birds chirping and the squirels chattering to the chipmunks.
Ima: We all would.
(Later that week)
Ima: Holy..........uh-oh! Iam! You're not going to beleive the bills we got.
Ima: So much for going on vacation get away. With the bills for the cabin and utilities were already bad enough. Ima: Now after we pay for the SCFD to have a paid coffee break while we all watch part of a forest down........I doubt we'll ever get away. Iam: There's my big girl........come to Daddy.
Storm: Dadee
Iam: Yes Storm! Daddy! That's right. Daddy's little Rain Drop is smart and pretty. Ima: Hey Iam? Are you getting her dirty again?
Iam: Who me? Hmmm I guess a little birdie told Mommy Daddy let you have fun.
Iam: Bath time.
Storm: Wa wa.
Iam: Yes. Very good. You're in the "wa wa". Can you say "water"?
Storm: Wa wa.
Iam: Very good. We'll work on learning how to talk another day. For now one skill a day is good enough.
Iam: Daddy is very proud of you. Do you want a story before bed time?
Storm: Dook Dada.
Iam: You want me to read you a book?
Storm: Dook Dada dook.
Iam: One bedtime story coming right up.
(he read to her for hours.........little Storm just soaked it up, looks like she already had her Mother's love of reading)
Iam: .........and the prince and princess were wed and there was music throughout the kingdom. The End.
Storm: La la la la
Iam: Bed time young lady. OK no more puting it off.......bed for you. Iam: Maybe once you're a teenage your Mom and I will take you on a vacation. For now.......just camping in the backyard. Good thing we still have all that camping gear. Ima: Iam! Lightning is striking again!!!
Iam: It's destroying our camping furniture!!!
Ima: Oh Iam what are we going to do?
Iam: We're going to work as many hours as we can get and as just as soon as Summer rolls around............we're going somewhere where the lightning.......ISN'T!!!

I didn't have this much lightning before I had the cabin. Ever since little Storm was born every time it rains it seems to have lightning with it. I guess if you want a bunch of lightning just have a river wind through a forest of trees. LOL Sorry if it went on too long or if ended too abruptly; I was on the fence as to whether to make part#4 a 2 parter. I decided to go ahead and do it this way.
