There are tutorials here that can get you get started. Right now Sims1 and 2 are the easiest to make walls and floors for. I've been hooked since 2001, its a fun outlet and I meet alot of wonderful people from all over the world this way. Give it a try

Pets should go into your downloads folder.  When you've downloaded a pet whether it's one of mine or someone elses.......they don't show up by calling for the pet adoption service; to find/use a downloaded pet have your Sim GO OUT TO COMMUNITY PETSTORE & there you will be able to select your pet, OR go into creat a family (NOT bodyshop) & select which pet (cat/dog) & with the dogs what size (small/large).  If I remember correctly Pinky & Fushia are both small dogs & so the 2 ways to find these dogs would be to send a Sim to a petstore OR go into create a family & create a household with the pets you want for ONE household & combine (note if your Sim has a want for "obtaining a pet" adding one by combining house holds will not work) the pets into your Sims' household.  Also the pets are a cleanpak package saved into a zip file; TSR requires we save them as zip otherwise we as the submitter get a messge saying incorrect file type if we leave it as cleanpak file.  Quite a few people have downloaded the 2 poodles in question & to my knowledge there is no corrupted file.  If you open the zip file up, save the cleanpak file to desktop or where ever you like, open that "installable package" to downloads folder if it didn't do it automatically, then go into your game & either send a Sim to the petstore OR go to create a family & you can name it whatever you wish as well as set the gender & personality traits with either of these methods.  If you are still having trouble let me know.
