Hi there, and welcome to my life...So far at least. I may as well start with introducing myself and my family. My name is Star Slater, I know thats a Strange name but my mum says that is what my dad picked god rest his soul. He passed away just after i was born,Mum often says he was the true love of her life. I come from a large family and so here are the rest of them.

My name is Star Slater, I know thats a Strange name but my mum says that is what my dad picked god rest his soul. He passed away just after i was born,Mum often says he was the true love of her life. I come from a large family and so here are the rest of them. This is my older brother Jack. He is what you would call a bit of a tearaway, He hates school and doesnt really get along with anybody else around town, i think they may even be scared of him. Mum and his Father were college friends and after college went on to have Jack, Sadly however his father ran off with another women and Mum has not seen or heard of him since.
The Little guy my brother is holding is Anton, A great kid with a cheaky smile and always pulling my hair. This is my brother Paul. His father is i admit the only stable relationship i can remember from my mothers past. However his father was lazy and refused to get a job. Mum got so tired of it she threw him out. He hasnt been back to visit Paul, he is probably still sitting in that old armchair of his. Thankfully Paul is not like his father and crazy interested in sports. He has been caught many times not going to school because he was sneaking into the latest Llama's game. My Sister Lilly, She is a bit of a Prima Donna and is the most like mum, Extreamly popular with everyone she meets. She and Anton are full blood Brother and Sister.
Lilly's father is a Police officer that helped mum after she was caught shop lifting just after she broke up with Paul's father. We needed the money and he took pity on mum.
They started a relationship, i guess if you could call it that, he only ever turned up when he felt like it, and was never interested in any of the other kids. He didnt even want Lilly when she was born. Mum thought he wanted a son but Anton was born and we found out their father was marrying his Police Partner. And Last but not least my mum and Jane.
Jane is the reason we are here i guess, the Youngest of our family. A result from Mum's recent Affair with a Rich Married Man. However when his wife found out about the affair he paid off mum to go and take Jane someplace. His wife did not know his affair had resulted in Jane.
Mum was heartbroken yet again, she always believed the guy would leave his wife for her, but as normal her hopes were dashed. She took the small ammount of money he gave her and left taking us with her. So off we went to the town of Hampshire, We cannot afford to buy a house, Mum says the money has to last us as long as possible, So for now we are renting. She chose Hampshire because it was cheap. And upon arrival i can see why. This is Our new home. A complete Run down 2 bedroomed Dump.
Mum says that its not forever, Just until the youngest have grown up enough so she can get a job and buy us our own place. Im sure we can make do for now.
Mum has converted the dining room into her bedroom because there are only two bedrooms. I am sharing with the older kids while the toddlers share a room. When they are old enough, then we will split it with Girls in one room and Boys in another.
 Mum always tries her hardest with us kids. She wants to make sure we dont make the same mistakes in life as she has. Sadly i am not sure if Jack can be helped. But she is sure trying to give the young ones the best start in life she can Mum is not the best of Cooks, So Cereals is usually the best bet for the family, Means the kitchen cannot be burned down. I often sit and tell mum over breakfast how im going to try really hard in school. I know how badly she loves us all and wants what is best for us. Which is why she has chosen to not get a job currently, Although Jack offered to stay at home to look after the young ones while she got a job. Mum refused and told him a good education is important. She after all dropped out of College and wished she hadnt. However while we were all settled in school the Landlord came over to give mum a heard time. Complaining about the state of the house....Here is a thought, Come and fix up this dump yourself! However he told mum to get it fixed or there would be trouble. We found out who it was that had been reporting us. Our next door neighbour Mr Love.
How dare he! He even came around late at night complaining to me on the doorstep. However i didnt have the heart to tell mum, She was in such a good mood because Anton was finally potty trained, Which means we would have to spend less money on diapers.
I decided to keep the neighbours complaints to myself. But Sadly while i was at school the next day, The landlord returned with the neighbours complaints to bother my mum.
He told her she was an unfit mother and she should get a job. And that if she didnt do something about the smell soon, Not only would she be out of a home, But the kids would be taken by social services as well. Mum spent the night worrying, Poor Paul was so upset at seeing our mother in such a state. She needed a shower, Some sleep and was worrying about everything and anything. That night i went to sleep and Prayed that someone somewhere would help us soon.

Will Jack finish Highschool or will he get sent to boot camp?
Will the family be split apart by Social Services?
Will the Mean Landlord kick out the Slater Family?
