Emily: (whisperis to herself) Come on. Answer your phone.

Man: (picks up phone, yawns) Hello?

Brooke: (half-whispering) Hey, it's me. Emily.

Man: (gasps) Really?! Oh, my God, what've you been up to? I thought you forgot all about me.

Brooke: (sadly) Don't worry, I didn't. There's...somethin...I want to tell you.

Man: Okay, shoot.

Brooke: (choking up) I....I can't....(blurts out) I can't marry you. I'll mail you the ring back.

Man: (laughs nervously) you're kidding, right?

Brooke: (sniffles) I'm sorry.
Man: But....but, why?

Brooke: (angrily) I just can't! There's someone else- and please don't ask me why I'm doing this. Please. I just think it's better that we never see each other again.

Man: I don't understand, why-

Brooke: [hangs up] (cries)
The next day, just as Sebastian was about to leave for his biology class (three hours of mind-numbing bore), a phone call came to the mens' section of the dorms.

Sebastian: Hello?

Man: May I speak to a Sebastian McKudon, please?

Sebastian: Speaking.

Man: Hello, this is Cameron DiSpirito, Dean of Student Housing. May I say, congratulations! Due to your outstanding grades last semester, you have been chosen to stay at your own house on campus.

Oh, I forgot to mention: everyone's in their sophomore year.
Sebastian: Seriously?! AWESOME! (clears throat) I mean thank you for this honor.

Cameron: You're very welcome. The address is 128 Essex Drive. We expect you to be moved in by the end of the week and you may bring one other person with you.

Sebastian: Thank you so much! I'll start packing right now.

Cameron : You're welcome, and keep up the good work.
Biology class went faster than it usually did. As soon as Sebastian arrived home, he told Brooke the good news.

Brooke: Stop, you're definitely joking.

Sebastian: No, I'm serious! As a heart attack!

Brooke: Wow! What an honor!

Sebastian: Yeah, I was thinking maybeyou'd want to go to dinner with me to celebrate?

Brooke: Of course, at 7:00ish?

Sebastian: Sure. And dress formal.

Brooke: O...kay.
7:03

Brooke: So, where are we going?

Sebastian: It's a surprise.
Brooke: Oh...my....God! Londoste?! I've never been here in my life! How did you know I always wanted to-

Sebastian: I just had a feeling.
Sebastian: When they called to tell me that I can move into my own house on campus, they told me that I could bring one other person.

Brooke: Really?

Sebastian: Yeah, and...I wanna bring you.

Brooke: Really?! I'd love to! Thank you.
They wee starving and in love, so they ordered what they thought each other would want. Brooke ordered filet mignon without the scallions (he doesn't like scallions) for Sebastian, while he ordered the lime seared prawns without the cayenne pepper (she's allergic to pepper) for her. They were both amazed with each other's knowledge.

After they cleaned their plates of each other's delicious meal, Sebastian was convinced. He'd never find another girl that knew him like Brooke. He'd never feel the same way about any other girl, and he didn't want to give her up. So, he did what any man would do in this situation. Sebastian: Brooke-Lynn Annelise Meyer, mill you marry me?

Brooke: (squeals happily) Oh my God! YES!!!
The day after his engagement, Sebastian arrived at 128 Essex Drive. Brooke would've accompanied him, but she was still packing. Sebastian was deep in thought over the fact that the house was a little big; wasn't he staying here only with Brooke? The ringing of his cellphone brought him back. Sebastian: Hello?

Cameron: Sebastian? Hello, it's Cameron again.

Sebastian: Oh, hello, Mr. DiSpirito.

Cameron: Sorry, I didn't mention this earlier, but you and your friend are gonna be sharing the house with two others.
Sebastian: (sighs sadly) That's fine.

Cameron: Okay, good! [hangs up]

Sebastian: That was rude.
Sebastian entered the house and found own of his roommates, Annabelle Patterson.

Annabelle: Hi, my names Annabelle Patterson. I guess you're one of the new roommates.

Sebastian: (flatly) Yeah.

Annabelle: Well....do you have a name?

Sebastian: Sebastian. Wait did you say your last name was Patterson?

Annabelle: Yeah, why?

Sebastian: That's my friend's last name. His name's Archer.
Annabelle: Are you serious?! That's my twin brother!

Sebastian: Oh, YOUR his sister. He said he had a sister on campus.

Annabelle: Yeah, and the only reason why I didn't move in with him is because of his terrible snoring!

(both laugh)

Sebastian: So who's my other roommate?

Annabelle: Oh, yeah. Her name is-

Serena: I'm ho-
Sebastian: Serena?!

Serena: Oh my God! Sebastian?!

Sebastian: I can't believe it's you!

Serena: I can't believe YOU'RE our new roomie!

Annabelle: I can't believe you two know each other.
The End
