*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* While getting ready to leave for today I couldn’t help but stare at him a little more. Come to think of it, it’s been about a year since he started living with me. He was firing a makeshift rocket in the park when it hit me on the head. He apologized right away and went away. I then followed him and it led me to a group of children, playing with him. “Arashi-kun turned out pretty well; you really are the best at raising children.” A nearby woman said. “Not at all, my role was simply to guide and to raise them. It’s up to them to be the person that they should.” A little curious, I approached the two women and asked who he was. “Oh, you must be one of his friends.” One of them concluded. “Um, no…as you can see, I’m a complete stranger.” Neither of them sensed a bit of sarcasm in my words and simply laughed, then invited me to lunch with the children to talk about it more. Soon I found myself with them, not knowing that I was actually gazing at him. “He was abandoned as a nameless baby in our orphanage during a storm, thus we named him ‘Arashi’. He’s a charming little thing, always cheerful and laughing.” So I see…”He still manages to donate to the orphanage every month no? A child like that really deserves happiness.” ‘Happiness’ huh, I don’t mind having some of that. Later that day I bid them goodbye, not bothering to know their names or arranging anything to meet up in the future. I thought it was the last I’d see of them until that twit followed me home. “You’re the great professor ‘Demon Yamada’ aren’t you? Please tutor me for college entrance exams.” I remember him pleading over and over. “I’m busy,” Was my only cold reply. You gotta hand it to him though; he was a persistent little kid. And soon enough he got me to agree to be his tutor. Despite having to juggle up several part time jobs he always had the time to come by the house. Other than studying, he would help me with chores – cooking, cleaning, groceries, gardening; you name it. Eventually, after a couple of months it happened. “Yuki-san, look, I passed it!” He cheerfully shouted as he hugged me tightly. “…Ah-Con…Congrats, kid.” The sudden surprise caused me to go off balance and my back slammed a bit on a door. “Ahou-rashi, air…can’t breathe!” “Ah, sorry…” He said, still smiling as he gently let go. “Thank you very much, Yamada-sensei.” He said again, only in a much calmer, gentler tone with a dash of respect at that. “You…you’re welcome,” were the only words that escaped my mouth. We were, as you can see, in the most awkward position yet. There was a long pause, our lips were barely touching…and soon they might. Without another word I quickly shoved him away and pushed him out of the door. After that he stopped coming by. Days passed and his lack of presence began to become unbearable and deeply I wondered why. Before I knew it, I was sitting in a café across the shop he works in, dressed like a complete imbecile. ‘Why do I even bother…look at me, I look like a stalker!’ Every now and then I get the urge to jump out of my seat and take him away whenever a bunch of girls would come on to him, for what reason I don’t even know. Soon, my mental fighting within myself stopped as his gaze fixed on me. As soon as another customer took his attention I made a run for it. ‘Did he saw me? Did I really look like a stalker? What the heck?’ I ran and ran as I took off every other piece of disguise I had. Several questions flooded my mi – “Welcome back, Yuki-san,” I couldn’t believe my eyes, he was right there by the door. “Arashi—WAIT A SECOND! How in the world did you get here before I did?” He simply smiled calmly and said ‘I ran’ or something like that. “You were there this afternoon weren’t you?” “I was simply having a cup of -” I was suddenly taken aback when a familiar pair of warm arms embraced me. “I’m happy, that you were there.” I just remained still. Being this close again, a mix of embarrassment and maybe, happiness were dancing within me. “I love you, Yuki-san.” He whispered subtly as I closed my eyes and let myself be drawn into his arms more. Right on spot I knew I loved him too. And thus, the very embarrassing reply “I love you too” just came out. “I’ll be going now, Yuki-san.” He cheerfully said a traditional farewell, waking me from a series of flashbacks. “Is there anything you’d like for dinner tonight?” I just shrugged and sighed. “I don’t know…catfish? Anyway get going or you’ll be late, ace that mid-term as promised, alright?” Later that night, Arashi failed to catch some catfish, so we had fried milkfish instead. He’s an idiot...MY idiot. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Trivia Time!

- Hiroyuki's name means "to spread happiness"
- Arashi's name literally means "storm"
- Hiroyuki's nickname "Yuki" means "snow" used only by Arashi to describe how cold Hiroyuki was towards him - plus it sounds so cute too
- If anyone noticed, Hiroyuki lives right ACROSS Zinnia's house (from Lorelei)
