NEW SHINY COVER~! woooot~!!! =D here's part 12 - Lorelei - YES, that's the title ;3 *~hint~* Today is the most awkward day of my life. You all probably know how I’m just getting use to low class population – but today, the classroom was drearily empty; just me and Yuki and a couple of boys that I don't know. “It feels like they’re being abducted one by one!” Ms. Telerman would sigh every now and then, “Tell me, are you guys just trying to get out of school?” But home school means you come as you please – so what’s the problem? “Which reminds me, class. We’ll be having an annual test for everyone so we can help you with your colleges. Everyone is to make their masterpieces – in whatever field they’re best in and show it in the yet to come interschool competition. The rest of course, still lies in your hands.” An interschool competition…‘why does it have to be interschool?’ I mentally asked as I walked towards the gate. “Miyazama-kun,” there goes her voice, dancing in my ear again – might as well turn around. “Mitarashi-san, are you going home now?” “I was thinking about stopping by the studio this afternoon just to see if they’re okay. Maybe you’ll want to come with?” She knew it was a useless question; of course I wanted to go. The events last night were too fast; I could try to think about it, but my brain would burst. I just sighed and smiled – it was enough for an answer. That afternoon we arrived, the studio was destroyed. Like some sort of catastrophe just picked on it or something. Awkward enough, the people there didn’t want us around; it was either they were concerned about our safety or they just didn’t want us around at all. After minutes of walking away, we both sank on a bench by a bus stop. “That’s odd,” the oh-so-beautiful-girl right beside me said, “there’s no signal around here.” Behind the bus stop stood a creepy old house, I wouldn’t be surprised if this lot hasn’t heard of cell phones yet. “I’ll be back,” she stood – going in search for signals so she could somehow contact Alice “Excuse me,” an unfamiliar voice called, “…were you from #15 Cicada Drive?” I spun around and saw a dark skinned girl with rich green eyes on her small pretty face. It’s as if she was glowing orange – in a pretty sort of way. – Yes, I find it easy to actually think girls are cute, for-your-information. “Yeah; by the way, you don’t happen to be looking for ‘ZIPPER’, right?” I had to ask – I had to! “Yeah, but it seems like they moved…?” I was about to go on another swirl of a conversation when Yuki came back – disappointed. “Her phone’s either dead or I just can’t get through…” she ominously muttered as she weakly walked towards us. Suddenly, all the life force in the world engulfed her and she ran towards us – giving the stranger before me a huge hug. “Lorie! We missed you, how you’ve been? Are you feeling better?” ‘Lorie?’…wait, could it be? “Oh, I’m sorry Miyazama-kun; this is Lorelei Vasquez – the model we told you about. Lorie, this is Katrina Miyazama, our new model.” Upon hearing the name I was lost for words. Then I held up my hand, “pleasure to finally meet you.” “Pleasure,” she coolly replied back – her hand, soft and callus-free. “Well, this has been an odd twist of coincidences. Anyways there’s a sushi place I want to try out – we could talk there.” And so after waiting for a bit the bus finally arrived. “It seems like the von Meyers had made a move.” Lorelei phrased as she took bites. “It’s like them, to take action out of the blue.” I was completely lost in the conversation – I didn’t know much. “I heard rumors around school,” I started, trying my best to fit. “It seems like they won’t be attending for a while.” A bit of chatter and the conversation died down; a sigh from Lorelei, the sipping sound from Yuki and the rhythmic beat of my heart filled the air as if they own the world. “I for one won’t sit around here,” Lorelei started as she got up. “I won’t let my friends’ dreams die, and neither should you.” I had to hand it to Lorelei; she had a lot of charisma. Soon we found ourselves in a small traditional Japanese house in the woods. It’s old, but it’s pretty well kept to say the least. Next thing we were greeted by the house’s caretaker. “Afternoon my ladies,” he addressed us. We bowed in reply. “I’ve been saving this for an emergency.” Yuki voiced as she showed us around the house, “I hope it’ll do.” Lorelei just nodded in approval. We spent the rest of the afternoon helping in cleaning up and trying to contact Alice or Greg; succeeded on the first, failed on the latter. By seven we went home – the door was locked, I had the key – Zin was out again. The same night, somewhere – a silent negotiation commences... ....shhhh....we iz bein' sneeakky~....*by the way, that's Elliot, a friend of mine* "AHA! I got you now missy! Do you know what time it is? Good heavens, look at you! You're getting skinny and your blood's going low from lack of GOOD sleep - now I just wonder how you manage to move!"

"It's 12am - still early-"

"Early?! What kind of early is that? AND YOU...Elliot, what are you doing here at this time of night - I ought to tell your granny!" "That's it then, I'm going to tell your -"

"We're dating."

"Heavens! It's a miracle! Don't mind me then...BUT MAKE SURE YOU GET SOME SLEEP, I'm taking your laptop's power chord."
 "Mission Complete Elliot!"

"Heh, she fell for it and all I did was stand there! You know...I don't blame her...I AM HOT."

"Haha - fine fine, you are now go before she thinks of something else!"

Okays, so grandma has my power chord now, gotta load this before I run out haha XD thanks for reading loves~! I hope you enjoyed this part ;3
