"Oh. OK honey.I just can't take my eyes off of her." Vasco replies in the same way. "So what do we do now that we are a married cople with a baby?" Vasco questions Rachel
""I don't know- Mmmmmmmmm! That's some good omlet!" Rachel replies.
"It's not like we can do whatever we want now. We're parents!" Vasco adds
"Well we can still have fun but now it's not just the two of us, we have to add Charolite." Rachel adds excitedly.
************* About a week later a new family moved into town.
"Vasco we should be polite and welcome them to Rosewood!" Rachel says trying to convince Vasco to go with her.
"I don't want to! I was awake all night with the baby! And besides, who would watch her if I went with you?" Vasco argues.

"Really? Isn't that just around the corner?" Karen adds to the conversation.
"Yeah! If you ever need anything just call us." Rachel tries to continue the conversation. It seemed hard for her to get to know people, being contained in her own house for six months.
"You're Maried?" Karen adds
"Yeah! Actually we recently had a baby." Rechel replies
"Really! My husband and I had a baby a year and a half ago! That's not such a big differance!" Karen continues.
"Maby when they're a little bit older we can take them to the park or somthing" Rachel says worring about Vasco taking care of Charolite.
"Would you like to see him?" Karen adds
"That would be great." says Rachel "This is Shane Guanna" Says Karen proudly
"Oh my! He's adorable!" Rachel says as she looks over at the baby
************* "Mommy! Mommy!" Charolite manages to say through her crying
"I'll be there in a second" Rachel says wile running up the stairs
"What is it sweetie? Oh look at this mess"
"But Mommy" Charolite continues
"I'm not mad at you..." Rachel replies
"No! There was a bat out the window! And then it turned into a girl! and, and she tried to talk to me!" Charolite says still crying
Rachel had read of some incidents of the same type in the newspaper but thought that they were just stories that had been exaterated.
"Mommy why are you crying?" Charolite asks now calm
""I'm just a little scared honey" "Charolite, I want you to stay right here with mommy today. Is that ok?" Rachel asks patently.
"Ok Mommy" Charolite replies sweetly. "Mommy! Look! Shane and his Mommy!" Charolite shouts wile standing with her face pressed to the window.
"Yep. That's right sweety." Rachel says not paying much attension. "Mommy! I really need to go potty!" Charolite says in her 'impationt' tone
"Ok. Ummm... Why don't you just go in my bathroom but come back as soon as your done." Rachel replies without much thought
"KK Mommy. I come back when I done" Charolite repeats, making sure she get's the procedure correct An hour and a half later
"...And DONE!," Rachel Shouts as she finneshes her novel," Ok Charolite, Mommy is done with her book! I can play with you now!"
"Oh My Gosh! Charolite! Charolite!" Rachel yells, filling the house with a chanting echo.
"Remington! I can't find Charolite" Rachel Screams, hurting her throught from the vibrations
"Calm down! She couldn't have gone outside, I was in the front of the house and she can't open the gate." "Mommy, I in bafroom" Charolite says quietly but loud enough for Rachel and Remington to hear her." "Oh honey! Calm down. Mommy's here. Everything is going to be ok. Can you tell me what happened?" Rachel askes, trying to calm down her daughter. "I....I....I don't know, I bumped I head and it weawy huwrt, and i didn't know where I was." Charolite says with confusion.
"It's ok. How about you try to get some rest for now." Rachel says trying to calm Charolite down. "Now I'm going to go start planning your birthday party, you try to take a nap." Rachel states with question. "Rachel! Guess what?!?!?!?!" Vasco shouts through panting from running up the stairs.
"What is it Vasco?" Rachel asks with a small smile
"I got a really big promotion today!" Vaco continues with excitment
"That's......ummmmm.......great." Rachel says witout any enthusiasm in her voice
"What's wrong?" Vasco asks with consern
"I'm not sure if Charolite is ok...." Rachel said
"WHAT? This can't be happening!" Vasco said with panic
"No, she just bummped her head and passed out for a few minnuetts" Rachel said trying to make Vasco feel calmer
"That's not good. She could have brain dammage or somthing" Vasco rambles on, scurrying away from the topic.
"Vasco, she's fine. Continue on with the news that you wanted to tell me." Rachel said hopeing that he hasn't forgotton already.
"Oh. Right, I got a promotion today!" He said with a lot of excitment in his voice.
"That's great!" Rachel says almost as excited as he was.
 "Rachel, my company built us a house to celebrate the promotion," Vasco tells her after breaking the good news. "it will be ready for us to move in right after Charolite's birthday party"
"Vasco, what about the garden, it means a lot to me" Rachel says runing the excitment.
"That problem will be fixed when we move in" Vasco said hopeing she won't get mad.
"Where is this house?" Rachel says looking like she didn't want to move
"It's just across town, by the ocean" Vasco said
"Ok! Can't wait to move in!"
********************** "Charolite, How do you like the new house?" Vasco asks after unpacking the last few boxes
"I really like it Dad!" Charolite replies wile doing your homework
"That's great sweetie," Vasco says wile peeking over to see what she's learning in school "I just want you to know how much I love you!"
