Love&Desires: Part IV

-->by KURTNECOLAI After having diner, Scarlet had a talk with her dad in his office.
"What is this about dad!?....What in the world is happenning here now!?" Scarlet shouted. "Well, darling, you have to understand. Since your mother died I needed someone to be with me. I don't want to be alone for the rest of my life..." Orlando explained.
"Can't you understand?...or at least, be happy for me?" Orlando added. Orlando tried to explain more to his one and only daughter Scarlet.
Scarlet. Being the spoiled bratt she is, sat down on a chair, faced away from her father with an angry face. She's trying not to listen to her father. Finally, Scarlet stood up.
"I could have understand it father if you have married a woman same as your age!" Scarlet reacted.
"You married a woman who's almost half your age!...and worst, she's a woman I despise most!" "Now, tell me dad. How on earth could I possibly understand that!?" Scarlet added. Scarlet doesn't want to listen to her father anymore. She just left the room.
"Wish she would soon understand me...." Orlando thought to himself... Orlando and Emily would have a constant conversation about Scarlet's issue with Emily.
"I hope you would just understand my daughter honey. She's just like that at first. She would probably get over it." Orlando told Emily.
"It's okay honey. The problem between me and Scarlet is past. For me, at least. But, of course. I could always understand her....don't worry about it." Emily replied. "Now, come here. Don't be so problematic about it okay?" Emily said and give Orlando a back rub.
"Okay now..." Orlando responded. One day. Emily was in the receiving room enjoying one of her favourite book when Scarlet stepped-in.
"Will you look at that. It's my ever beloved step mother....." Scarlet said with an eyebrow raising up and while walking towards Emily. "What is it that you want now Scarlet?.....Can't get enough of me...can you?" Emily said it with sarcasm.
"Hm! PUH-LEASE Emily....I got over you a long time ago...Its just that, you're such a virus in anyones life..." Scarlet replied.
"And you're an epidemic I supposed?!" Emily reacted quickly. "How dare you speak to me like that!" Scarlet bursted.
"You...you ugly baboon! Argh!" Scarlet said with frustration.
"Your'e nothing but a cheap witch!....." She added. "Spoiled bratt from HELL!" Emily responded.
"You can't do anything about it now dear Scarlet. I'll be around for quite sometimes now!" Emily added before Scarlet could say something else.
"Are you kidding me!?.....I am Scarlet JORDANS! and Orlando JORDANS is my father...making me his one and only daughter!....how can I not do anything about it!?" Scarlet said. Emily turned her back to Scarlet. Put her hands on her waist, flipped her hair and said.
"You're just his daughter...I-am-his-WIFE! get that?..."
with an eyebrow raising up.
Scarlet got really pissed off and grabbed Emily in her arms so she would face her. "You're nothing but a gold digger in red!" Scarlet pointed Emily in her chest. "and you deserve this!" Scarlet added as she was about to slap Emily hard on the face.
But, Emily grabbed Scarlet's hand as it was coming to her face. She grabbed it tightly then swayed Scarlet away. Emily swayed Scarlet so hard they switched places. She then throw away Scarlet's hand. Then Emily pushed Scarlet away very hard before Scarlet could react.
Scarlet trips off. Until Scarlet landed hard on the floor.
"Now who's witch!" Emily said as Scarlet laid on the floor. Emily turned her back from Scarlet gracefully then said.
"You can't just do that to me anymore Scarlet. Not again. Never"
"Go to hell Emily!...GO TO HELL!" Scarlet shouted while on the floor.
"I'll see you there Scarlet....I'll see you there" Emily replied with her evil laugh. Emily still has feelings for Sean eventhough she knows that Sean is already married to Scarlet.
Emily would always act flirty around Sean. Emily also tends to make Scarlet jealous because she knows to herself that Sean still likes her.
Emily would always go around wherever Scarlet and Sean is. Wether on a jacuzzi Or inside the manor. Emily was always around. Emily would even flirt with Sean even if Scarlet is around.
"For pit sakes! Sean! What in the world are you doing! Come her this instant!" Scarlet would always burst out. Until Scarlet told her father about it. They would always have a small fight about it. But Orlando would always insist it isn't real. Scarlet would also insist that she isn't lying. Orlando doesn't believe on Scarlet. So, Emily and Scarlet would constantly fight together.
It would always include words such as:
Flirt!
Dirty witch!
Mud blood!
Dog's puke
They would always find a way to cursed out each other. But, Emily would always fight back this time, unlike before. Sometimes, she is even scarier than Scarlet. Until one day. While Sean is in the office in the house, Emily went in and was trying to seduce Sean or something.
But, they didn't know that Orlando was just outside the door. He have seen his wife Emily in such position! He was shocked but he chooses not to react and keep quite until Emily herself would confess to him. Another day. Orlando went to his office to work on something.
Scarlet was just outside the door when she saw Emily and her dad kissing to bid goodbye. While kissing, she saw Emily's face was rather blank while kissing his father. So she suspected. Later that day, Emily was also working on something inside the office, just inside the house.
Scarlet went in.
"What are you doing Emily?" She asked.
"Leave. I'm busy." Emily responded briefly. "You don't love him. Do you!?" Scarlet asked on a high tone.
Emily stood up and approach Scarlet.
"Can you leave me alone!?...I am done with you already..." She said. "Oh. Come'on....Don't play with me Emily...I know you. You just love my father's wealth and power." Scarlet told Emily. "Look. I am not playing with you or with your father. It just so happen that he loves me more than you are so he gives me all I want...all of this!..." Emily replied with a smirk on her face. "Well, all of this...you say??....I will take it away from you...all of it....ALL-OF-THIS...like a snap!" Scarlet replied. "Oh. So now you're the one who wants to play!....you wanna play then?....Alright! Let's play. Taking treasures from each other!..." Emily said with an evil smile on her face. Before Scarlet could say anything the phone rang.
Emily picked it up.
"Hello?" She answers.
"It's me. Orlando." The other line answered. "OH! honey!...." She exclaimed as Scarlet walked out to the door .
Orlando want's Emily to come into the company office. He wants them to talk of something.
Emily went to Orlando pronto.
"What is it about honey?" Emily asked.
"Are you having an affair?" Orlando asked Emily in a straight tone.
"What is this about??" She asked. Confused. Emily denied the allegation that was put to her by Orlando, so, they fight.
The fight was a big one! Everyone near Orlando's office room could hear tham screaming from each other. Orlando keep on insisting that his daughter Scarlet told him that Emily and Sean is having an affair together.
While Emily keeps on denying it.
They fought for almost 2 hours but Orlando never mentioned that he saw her with Sean once doing unrightfull things married people shouldn't do. "If you believe that spoiled bratt daughter of yours why wont you go with her then and leave me alone now!?" Emily bursted. "Know what? That's what I am going to do until you tell me the truth" Orlando said as he walk towards the door.
"Yeah. Go ahead. Maybe she has the truth you were looking for 'cause I have nothing to say to." Emily replied. Orlando drove his car so fast because se was so angry then.....in fact, he was driving like crazy down the highways.... A blindening light from someone else's car flashes through Orlando's windshield.... The phone in the manor of the Jordans rang.
Scarlet picked it up.
A woman breathing heavily talked in the other line.
Scarlet put on her schocking face and her eyes began to wet with tears. Without saying a word.
Scarlet ran to the door.
Her eyes are very wet with tears already.
What could have the other line on the phone said that made Scarlet shocked and crying??
