Supernatural - The Story Of Bud Wieser.
"What on earth are you doing as a vampire?" she yelled."I don't want a vampire stalking through this house! And you're not going to be able to go to work now, what about your career?"
"I don't care," said Bud, "this is what I have to do. Donny told me that this was my destiny."
"What? You don't have to be a vampire! Don't be so stupid Bud!" said Misty, almost laughing at how silly the situation was.
"Yes I do, I was told that this was what I must do," insisted Bud before turning and flying to his bedroom. Whilst Misty thought that Bud being a vampire was foolish, Dan thought that being a vampire was very cool indeed and insisted that Bud bite his neck so that he could become a vampire too. Bud was only too happy to, telling Dan that Donny would definitely want this too, and soon there was two vampires in the house. Misty was just as angry with Dan when she found out.
"You're just as idiotic as Bud for doing this," she yelled. "Am I the only one with any common sense in this house? What about your career? And what about me? I don't want to live in a house with two vampires - it's creepy!"
"Then become a vampire too," said Dan smiling and moving slowly towards Misty with his fangs showing. Misty screamed and ran out of the room before Dan could bite her.
Bud and Dan loved being vampires. The spent all day sleeping in their coffins and all night awake reading, playing chess or terrorising the neighbourhood.
Misty felt as though she might as well be living alone. She had no company during the day apart from her dog Coco, who had now grown up, and she was left to do all the chores. She missed her boyfriend Luke more than ever. After a while Misty could stand no more and called a gypsy who she had heard could sell her a potion to cure the boys of being vampires. The gypsy sold her two potions and Misty waited until nightfall. As soon as the boys arose from their coffins she called them into the kitchen and stood the potions on the table in front of them.
"Drink it," she demanded. "I can't stand you being vampires anymore. You haven't been to work for weeks so I'm the only one bringing any money into this house, I have to do all the chores, everyone complains about you scaring them and it's gone on long enough."
After much fighting Bud and Dan reluctantly agreed to drink the potions... ...and soon they were back to their normal human state, much to Misty's delight. Now that he was a human again Bud could continue to build his career in the paranormal. He loved his job as was progressing quickly up the career ladder. In his work life everything was perfect... ...but things at home were getting strange again. A while after transforming back from a vampire Bud had been sensing the presence of Luke more and more... ...and then Bud had finally seen Luke. Bud was oddly pleased to see him and rushed to tell the others. They were sceptical at first, wondering if he was just seeing Luke in the same way he always claimed to see Donny... ...but they knew if was for real when first Misty... ...and then Dan saw Luke.
Misty was upset to see Luke again and turned to Dan for comfort.
"I wish I could have him back," sighed Misty. "I miss him so much. I know he was the one for me. I can't bear the thought of spending the rest of my life without him." Bud had overheard some of this conversation, and feeling guilty about how terribly he had treated Misty in the past and how he had been involved in the experiment that had led to Luke's death, he decided to do something nice for Misty. He managed to obtain a special phone.. ...and he resurrected Luke. Dan and Misty were extremely surprised when Luke walked into the living room. Misty was over the moon to see him... ...and took him out for a romantic meal... ...and soon Misty and Luke were a couple again. Luke picked up his life pretty much were he had left it. He continued to live with the others and got a job as a scientist. For a while things seemed ok in the house, everyone was progressing in their careers and Misty and Luke were happy together... ...but then Bud saw Donny again... ...and Donny told Bud to obtain a cow plant. Bud followed Donny's orders as always and had soon brought a cow plant home. Misty was so angry when she saw it.
"Do you have any idea how dangerous these things are?" she screamed at Bud. "They eat people for goodness sake!"
"But Donny told me to get it," Bud replied.
"You and that Donny - how come no one else has ever seen him? He's all in your head Bud! He doesn't exist." Misty decided that what Bud needed was a girlfriend. She invited round one of her friends from work, Brandi, and arranged for her and Bud to go out on a blind date at a local, romantic restaurant. The date started off fairly well and Bud was very attracted to Brandi... ...but he spoiled it all by constantly talking about werewolves, ghosts and aliens. At the end of the night Bud asked if he would see her again. "I think not" was Brandi's reply. Bud felt so humiliated. Bud went home and found Donny waiting for him and Donny had a plan. Bud listened carefully and agreed to carry it out. The next day Bud called Brandi and begged her to come round. Brandi, feeling sorry for him, reluctantly agreed. Once she came over though she fell straight into Bud's trap and grabbed at the cake being offered by the cowplant. Before she knew what was happening she had been eaten by the cowplant. Bud was delighted that this stage of his and Donny's plan had worked... ...but Misty was furious that one of her friends had been killed in this way.
"Bring her back now!" she demanded to Bud. "You can't just play about with peoples lifes like that!" Bud agreed, not telling Misty that this was the final stage of his plan anyway. He resurrected Brandi, like he had resurrected Luke, only this time he created... ...a zombie! The new Brandi was incapable of thinking or doing much for herself and she was now going to be dependent on Bud, just as Bud had planned. Misty was even angier at this.
"But she's my girlfriend now," said Bud smiling.
"What?!" yelled Misty. "That thing isn't the Brandi I know, it's not even human. How can you call it your girlfriend? You're sick, Bud. You need help."
"Oh don't be so dramatic," replied Bud. "She'll look better after a make-over." Bud took Brandi out to get some new clothes and new haircut.
"It doesn't change a thing," said Misty when she saw the new look. "It's not human!" Bud didn't care what anyone else thought about his relationship with Brandi. He continued to treat her as his girlfriend and take her on dates even though she was incapable of telling him how she felt so he had no idea if she loved him like he loved her. One night Misty talked to Dan about Bud and both agreed that Bud was getting out of control and needed help. They approached Bud to have a serious talk about his bizzare behaviour and the terrible things that he had done... ...but Bud got so angry that he fed Misty to the cowplant! Luke was heartbroken when he heard the news and had a nervous breakdown. He refused to talk to Bud and spent most of his days in bed or playing with Coco. He felt incapable of going to work or of socialising without Misty in his life. He tried to get Bud to resurrect Misty but Bud refused and hid his special phone. A few weeks after the incident with Misty and the cowplant Bud was stargazing one night when he was abducted by aliens... ...and Luke used this as his chance to search Bud's room and find the special phone. He quickly resurrected Misty, making sure to bring her back as a human rather than a zombie. When Bud returned he was pregnant. This was the final straw for Misty and Dan. After a massive fight they decided to move out, leaving Bud to live with his zombie girlfriend. Dan found his own place downtown and lived alone, spending a lot fo time doing scientific research to help him earn a promotion at work. Misty and Luke brought a house in the suburbs and got married. Bud was only too happy to be carrying an alien baby and even Brandi seemed to be pleased about it. Soon Bud gave birth to a baby boy who he called Neptune. It may not be a conventional family but it was the sort of family Bud had always dreamed of.
