Welcome back to another installment of The Reality Show. So far three contestants (Gemma, Chloe and Mickey) have been voted off by you, the viewers, and in three days time another contestant will be forced to leave the house and miss out on winning £100,000. But if the contestants think it's going to be easy for them then they have a big shock coming!
Following Mickey's eviction last night, Jasmine had decided to move into his old bed and so share a room with Leon. But that wasn't the only change in the house. The morning of day 10 brought a new contestant to the house to shake things up a bit. Her name was Anna, a 25 year old clothes designer. The housemates were shocked when she walked into the dining room where they were having breakfast.
"Who are you?" asked Jasmine, puzzled. "Are you one of the TV crew? Is something wrong?"
"Oh no," laughed Anna, "I'm one of you now, I'm Anna, your new housemate."
"But, but...." began Jasmine still puzzled.
"They thought this place could do with a bit of excitement and they decided to add me. It's going to be so cool getting to really know you lot. Of course I've watched all your exploits on TV but now I can get to know you properly." After breakfast the housemates went outside to find out more about Anna.
"I auditioned to come in here at the same time everyone else did but when I wasn't contacted afterwards I assumed I hadn't been picked and went back to concentrate on my work. I work as a clothes designer for one of the top clothes shops in the country. You've probably heard of it and you girls have probably even brought some of the clothes I've designed! I work for Topsim, really love it there but it would be great to have my own clothes store someday where I could have more freedom in what I design. Anyway, yesterday I got a call off the producers of the show asking if I was still interested in taking part. When I said yes they said a taxi would be coming to pick me up shortly. Within an hour they had picked me up and taken me to a hotel for the night. I only had time to tell my parents where I was going so it's going to be a big shock for most of my friends and family! Then this morning they brought me here. Ain't it great!?" Anna spent the rest of the day settling in and getting to know the other contestants. She seemed to take an instant liking to Leon, who seemed to like her as well... ...and she was getting on well with Darren who was teaching her a bit about cooking... ...but Maddy and Jasmine had taken a dislike to her and were gossiping about her upstairs in Maddy's bedroom.
"There's no way she's a clothes designer!" laughed Jasmine. "Yea the haircuts ok but that dress is doing nothing for her. And what's with those shoes? They look like something even my mother would reject as too old fashioned."
"All's she's done since she got here is talk about herself - such a narcissist! There were thousands of sims who auditioned for this show - surely they could have found someone, anyone, better?" laughed Maddy. "And I'm going to have to share a room with her! Can't you move back in here Jasmine, please?" pleaded Maddy.
"And leave her in Leon's room? No way! Don't worry - she'll just bored you to sleep with all her talk about clothes and herself!" The girls both collapsed into a fit of giggles. At the end of her first day Anna came to the diary room.
"Well the guys seem nice - Leon and Darren have made me feel really welcome and Christian's been ok, a little on the shy side though but I expected that. The girls though....well I get the feeling that they don't really want me here, especially from Jasmine. I think Maddy's just following what Jasmine is doing which is really annoying. I thought I would get on well with the girls from watching them on TV but it just goes to show that you can never predict these things. I don't think I'll win the money as I'm the newbie in here but I'll give it my best shot and do whatever it takes. I'm a very determined sim and if I want something then I put 100% into getting it." Day 11
The day began with Anna asking Leon to teach her some guitar. Leon couldn't resist, despite the evil glances Jasmine was giving him from the other side of the room. After the guitar lesson there was dancing... ...and flirting. Leon seemed ignorant of Jasmine, who was getting angier and angier the more she saw Leon with Anna. Jasmine came storming into the diary room. "What on earth does Leon think he's playing at? Anna's been in the house for just over a day and he's all over her like I don't exist!" she ranted. "I would have a word with him about it but it's impossible to get him by himself for even a moment. And that Anna....she must have been watching this show on TV before she came in and seen me and Leon were an item. Does she think she will stand more chance of winning if she's having a relationship with another contestant or something?" Christian, inspired by the drama going on around him, spent most of the day writing in his diary and refusing to show it to anyone. Later, over a game of chess, he confessed to Darren that he was missing Chloe.
"I keep wondering if she's watching this on TV and what she's thinking of me now," he said sadly. "I want to get out of here as soon as possible - I know I won't win the prize money and so I just want to get out of here and get on with my normal life and see Chloe."
"You've really fallen for her, haven't you?" said Darren.
Christian nodded. "I've never really had much luck with women. I had one serious girlfriend a couple of years ago but she left me for another man. Since then it's been a series of bad dates. I think I really clicked with Chloe, she's really special."
"I'm sure she'll be as keen to see you when you get out as you are to see her," Darren reassured him.
"What's happening with you and Maddy?" asked Christian.
Darren sighed and shook his head. "She still won't speak to me, I think she'll be like that until we leave. It's a real shame but I can't do anything about it. I can't force her to talk to me or to like me." Late that evening Leon joined Anna in the hot tub and carried on the flirting from earlier much to Jasmine's disgust who had seen what was happening from the kitchen window. Jasmine went to see Maddy. "Is it ok if I move back in with you tonight?" Jasmine asked. "I don't want to be in the same room as Leon."
"But that will mean..."
"Yes that Anna is sharing a room with him. Well she's welcome to him! I'm not going to be treated like that. He's been all over her all day, look out the window now and you'll see them flirting in the hot tub like I don't exist. You and me should stick together - it feels like you're the only one I can really trust in here."
"Of course you can move back in here," said Maddy. "I get the feeling that Anna's playing a game with Leon, trying to win more votes to get the prize money."
"Me too," said Jasmine, "but Leon either doesn't see it or doesn't care. How are things with you and Darren."
Maddy groaned. "I don't want to talk about him, I wish I'd never kissed him. I hate how one moment of drunken madness could have ruined the rest of my life."
"Steve may not be too bad about it," said Jasmine, trying to cheer up Maddy.
"I hope so," said Maddy sadly. Day 12
After a night spent in Leon's room Anna was in a great mood but Leon was more subdued. "I need to speak to Jasmine," he mumbled as he got out of bed. Leon got dressed and went to find Jasmine. Jasmine was still extremely angry at him though.
"What was wrong last night babe? Why did you sleep in Maddy's room instead of my room?" asked Leon.
"Don't pretend you don't know!" she snapped, yabbing him with her finger. "You spent all of yesterday sniffing around Anna and barely said two words to me. You really think I'm going to put up with that?"
"Jasmine, come on, I was just being nice to her."
"Being nice? It went much further than that and you know it did. I'm nice to Darren but I don't spend all day with him, constantly flirting and jumping into the hot tub with him when I think no one's watching."
"Don't over react babe. You're still the one for me."
"Yea right. Me and you are through Leon. You may be good looking but I can't trust you at all. Go off and flirt with Anna all day again if you want because I don't care anymore." Suddenly Leon fell to the floor and began talking gibberish. Jasmine watched for a few seconds, thinking he was playing a game with her, but she soon realised he was having a breakdown and she ran to the diary room to ask for help. Soon a therapist arrived and carried out some tests on Leon before declaring him well enough to carry on with the rest of the show. The other housemates seemed surprised that Leon was still in the house and that the therapist hadn't taken him away for further treatment. Darren reassured Leon that the other contestants would "try to support him though this difficult time". 8pm soon came round. With all the drama of Leon's breakdown the eviction that night had been almost forgotten by the contestants. The voice boomed out over the speakers. "The viewers have once again been voting for their favourite contestant, apart from Anna who is exempt from eviction for tonight only as she is new to the house. The housemate with the fewest votes who will be leaving tonight and missing out on £100,000 is.....Christian! Pack you belongings and get ready to leave." Christian smiled weakly and headed upstairs. Jasmine could be heard muttering how Leon should have gone instead. Christian said goodbye to each of the housemates and gave one final message to Maddy and Darren before he left the house. "Please, you two, sort it out. The atmosphere between you two is terrible. The kiss happened, you can't undo that and you'll just have to deal with the consquences when you get out but for now try to be friends. The atmosphere in here is bad enough with the feud between Leon, Jasmine and Anna, it doesn't need you two making things worse." At his interview Christian gave his thoughts on his experience in the house. "Well it's certainly been interesting and I've met some very colourful characters. Goodness knows what my students at school have thought when they've been watching this. Hopefully they have seen I'm not a complete geek and that there is another side to me away from my job as a teacher. I think the time was right for me to leave, I never expected to get this far, so I'm not sad to be leaving. I can't wait to see Chloe, hopefully she will want to see me too but you never know. Things in the house work so differently to how they work in normal life that she may not want to see me again. I don't know who'll be next to go - I'd probably go for Anna simply because she's the one that the public are least familiar with but you never know. I'd like to see Maddy or Darren win it as they're such nice people, apart from when they're arguing with each other!"
